Fantastic craft cocktails!
A cocktail bar on 19th in the Mission. The list leans vermouth forward and the martini is the one they build around, with a solid Manhattan behind it. Snacks only and no kitchen, so eat first. Doors at five thirty, closed Sundays and Mondays, and open late on the weekend. Thank you for the care behind the bar. Five stars.
note that this is a “I’m getting drunk for cheap with cocktails” place, not “I enjoy great cocktails” place. Service and vibe is great

Wildhawk is a popular spot for a pre-dinner cocktail or a night out with friends. The upscale yet low-key vibe creates a relaxing atmosphere, and the staff are pleasant and approachable. The creative drinks are always well-crafted, with the bartenders knowledgeable and friendly, offering a more sophisticated take on cocktails. The menu often features drinks with Japanese inspiration, and the drinks are indeed very spirit forward and can be considered dry. The Dead to Me cocktail, which includes basil oil drops on top, is highly recommended for those who like their drinks alcohol forward and tolerate mezcal. The cozy lounge and bar seating provide a comfortable setting, and seating can sometimes be tight, but there are usually good spots to stand. The place is also dog-friendly, allowing large dogs inside. Overall, Wildhawk is an excellent choice for a date or a night out with friends, offering a unique experience with creative, well-crafted drinks in a relaxed atmosphere.
