Wolfsbane was an incredible experience. The plates were beautifully presented, with balanced, creative flavors throughout the meal. The service was attentive, polished, and professional, making the entire evening feel thoughtfully executed from start to finish.
What a wild experience! I felt like royalty, with all of the plates coming out, each with their own story and explanation.

Wolfsbane is a beautiful new addition to the San Francisco restaurant scene, offering an intimate, multi-course dining experience in the Dogpatch. The space features subtle forestry vibes with more wood, greenery, and a cool wolf mural, creating an amazing atmosphere that feels like an urban nature room. The service is top notch, fast, and attentive, with friendly staff who elevate the experience.
The food is absolutely incredible, spectacular, and creative, with beautiful presentation. Dishes are delicious and food forward, showcasing care in each plate. The tasting menu includes items like a chilled oyster trio, cabbage with sea urchin bottarga, tomato with burrata, striped bass, lobster with a tempura claw, and Liberty Farms duck breast. Portions are on the smaller side, but every dish is wonderful. The cocktails are fantastic, creative, and interesting, with a full bar and a sizable whisky collection. The wine list has interesting picks, including natural wines.
The whole setting feels intimate and romantic, perfect for a date night. It is a definite multiple-star contender, providing one of the top meals ever. The experience ends with surprise treats and a nice take-home gift. It is a spot diners will be coming back to.
