“Wow, this place is very good, their snacks or snacks are very delicious and the lady who serves is very kind and friendly. That should be all the owners or staff who serve. Wow, I was surprised. There is a lot of parking. There is also water in large bottles of Mexican sweets of all kinds.“

“Major props to Los Alpes Ice Cream. I get nostalgic every time I come here. I have been visiting since I was a kid and the memories I have from this place are all great. The quality is just as good today as it was back then. I literally met my best friend here over 30 years ago and the interior still looks exactly the same.

I love coming here every chance time permits when I am visiting Los Angeles. It is one of those places that brings me right back and it never disappoints.

The flavor selection is amazing. Even though I usually keep it simple with cookies and cream, I have a hard time resisting the mamey and nuez every single time. Their ice creams are packed with ingredients. Cookies and cream is loaded with actual cookies and the nuez has that perfect nutty richness in every bite.

The staff and owner are always attentive, friendly, and genuinely pleasant. This place is a true Los Angeles institution. It still surprises me how many people do not know about this gem. If you have never been, do yourself a favor and check it out. You will see why it has been around for decades.“

“I was a JA kid in the 80s and 90s. After CYC basketball games and Tamiya Mini 4WD races, my family would head to the third floor of Yaohan and enjoy the great flavors of Hana-Ichimonme. This was, hands down the best ramen in downtown back then, and I can't wait to taste it once this pandemic is over. Okaerinasai!“

“The restaurant on the third floor that used to have mariachi shows is boarded up and closed. They been closed since the Covid shutdown. Everything else is open. There is still plenty of food and small booths selling leather goods, makeup, piñatas, traditional Mexican dresses and shirts, and lots more.“

Service is also amazing, the shop owner is super sweet and once asked if I wanted a plastic bags to put all my things I was carrying. She won me over from that but we do frequent this place often just for the taiyaki. Bingsu is good on a hot day as well. Every time I'm at the mall my wife makes me come here to get taiyaki. Very simple and well made.“

Just when I was running out of soft serve I found more at the bottom lolSundae was perfect amount of chocolate and whipped cream. Banana milkshake has fresh bananas combined with thick, creamy ice cream. Overall, a delight!“

“Classic Taiwanese food. They hit me with the Mandarin the minute I stepped inside and I was totally unprepared for that to happen but it was chill.

Service is very fast. The price is not super cheap but it is reasonable. We got 麻辣豆乾 (spicy bean curd), 香腸 (Sinbala sausage), 炸排骨乾麵 (fried pork chop dry noodles), and 扣肉飯 (pork belly rice). The portions are pretty large. The pork chop was dry but crispy, so I have mixed feelings about that one.

They take card if you order more than $30 worth of food. I’d love to come back to try their shaved ice because I hear it’s better than Meet Fresh!“

“I came in for lunch and asked the manager what he recommended he recommended a torta that was absolutely delicious one of the most delicious things I've had here on Greenleaf who would have known a little fruteria would have these really delicious tortas I'm glad I took the chance they will have a new customer for life. “This place is not called el Piquin Mexican Grill anymore. it’s called Taqueria La Fogata and since they have changed owners. the food has been so much better and more delicious than ever before. everything on the menu is great especially their chicken that they specialize in. every type of food from breakfast lunch and dinner. They never disappoint and always great outdoor seating and staff is wonderful. ????“

“It’s not too often that I stop at a Michoacana store, but this location somehow always manages to serve everything with a positive and enthusiastic attitude everytime I stop by to buy something! Most stores usually have little to not much variety, but this location always has something in store for everyone! It has flavors for ice cream that other locations don’t seem to have. They always try to introduce something new and refreshing that anyone can and will enjoy! Whenever I have entered this store, they always have fresh corn for an esquite or fresh fruit for hot summer days. If you’re looking for something fresh and tasty to eat, while being served by enthusiastic employees, I HIGHLY recommend visiting this store! It’s a must!!“

“If you haven’t tried Taiwanese popcorn chicken before, this is the perfect place to start. Their popcorn chicken is authentic, with a crispy, golden exterior and a juicy, flavorful interior that won’t disappoint. There are also some simple tables and chairs set up inside, providing a space to enjoy your meal. The shop is located inside Secoya Market and sells traditional Taiwanese street food. They also offer Japanese sushi but I haven't had the chance to try it.
