“Great food and even better service. Pawan single handedly maintains the entire front of the store and does a phenomenal job. This place is far from my house so I visit rarely. 3 months between my previous visit and today's visit and he remembers exactly what I would order. Greets me, guesses my order before I say it, and gets it. Great job. And the food is excellent too- very flavorful and well prepared.“

“Tried something entirely new eating at Urban Momo last week and it was incredible. I had the Gobi Manchurian, my partner had a curry, and we split a mixed fried rice and naan. Everything was flavorful, spiced (not spicy), fresh, and really delicious. Add great service and a cool location in San Mateo Market and this place is worth a trip. I don't live in San Jose, but if I did I would be coming here often. I've thought about our meal a lot over the past week!“

“Momo king has the best momo, paneer butter masala, butter chicken and Saag Paneer in town. Any momos you try here you won’t regret. The only draw back is, we can’t dine in here. We need to order online. But Its worth ordering online. Highly recommended.“

“Authentic home-style northern Chinese food. It’s best if you go for the dishes that don’t require pan-frying, such as the buns, the pumpkin porridge, or the cabbage tofu stew.
I chatted with the owner, she is very passionate about not using additives, and fresh small-batch oil everyday; her own grandchildren eat here. I have a sensitive stomach and this is indeed one of the only places I can constantly order from.
Overall, this is a restaurant that preserves ingredients’ original flavors like your grandma’s kitchen. The atmosphere is likewise — nothing fancy.“
