Subway in San Jose

“At first I gave this location 2 stars because I was highly disappointed in the AC not working but I was more concerned for the people who work here. Guess what they fixed it right away! They care! So now I have to give them a 5 star review for maintaining their quality during the hard times. The staff that works here are very supportive and agile with the situation. They made the best out of it and this is my favorite Subway!“

“Left the Kaiser hospital for a blood test and my wife was extremely hungry, so we opted to grab some quick sandwiches and boy were we pleased.We order from the mobile order app and upon arrival, was greeted warmly and got our order in no time.The sandwiches were crisp, skillfully crafter so that the toppings didn't fall out all over the place, and to top it off, it was perfectly toasted!This will now be our go to in this little neighborhood!“

“I have no complaints, like sometimes, my mom loves broccoli soup,! And always fresh, the vegetables and the bread! I didn't know that the sandwich bread was cooked right there, at 3👍👍👍

“I ordered to-go and I was impressed. I got a veggie sandwich, and usually people skimp out on the veggies. Very professional and my food was very presentable! In addition, the restaurant was super clean! Keep up the excellent service!

“It's been years since I've had a subway sandwich. I wanted the spicy Italian, but of course things change. The ladies(3 of them) were so kind to help me figure out out!I would submit a picture of I didn't devour my sandwich already.It was wonderful, thank you.“

I visit this subway frequently and this is the first time this has happened. I tried calling to let them know so that they could heat them more so they didn’t get other complaints but I got a recorded line.“

“A decent Subway in North San Jose near the River Oaks parkway. The eatery is large, and has a few tables inside. The service is speedy and the staff are friendly. The usual Subway fare is available. Parking is available on the adjacent parking lot. Highly recommended.

“This review will change on the next visit for sure...the question is 3 or 5. The store is clean and the staff are friendly, helpful and care about your satisfaction. My daughter and I stopped by to get a quick meal and although the service was slower than expected, I attribute that to a new staff member in training(?) that was over generous with the garlic butter on my steak and cheese. I think this devastating (sandwich altering) mistake was done with the best intentions and almost made the sandwich edible. Almost...lol. Anyways, back to the reason this is a 4 star review. The reason it is, is due to the fact that the gentleman supervising this very nice young lady acknowledged the fact that it took a little longer than expected and was thoughtful enough to offer us a coupon for free cookies on our next visit while conveying an honest concern for the value of our time. This goes a long way for me and I feel another opportunity to make me another sandwich that won't clog my arteries and scare every vampire in California away for the rest of the year. Seriously though, the garlic butter is bomb, but too much of a good thing is, well, you know.“

“Exactly what you'd expect from a Subway. They do have new sandwich fillings available which is a nice addition to their menu, although to be completely honest I will not pay 9.25+tax for a sub. The lady who made my sandwich was very sweet so that definitely made my experience more pleasant.“

“It is Subway. So expect quick sandwiches, not fancy dinners. I've never had a problem with the quality of my food, keeping in mind it is Subway. This is the closest one to all my outings. And it isn't ever really busy. So it serves the purpose well.“

“Received EXCELLENT service from both Claudia and the store manager.

The Subway app is terrible and notified me to place my order before 9:30 which I did, but it didn't tell me the store closes at 9:30.. so I got there when it was closed. And of course the app has no phone number or way to contact anyone, or a way to refund. Orders that are after hours don't even get sent or received by the store's system, so while my app shows I ordered and has an order number and I got charged, the store has no history of it. That's not their fault, its corporate's fault. Shame on them.

Even after not having received my order and/or payment they were nice enough to still make me the sandwich during my next visit which is all I really wanted anyway. At the end of the day, $10 is a lot to spend for something you never received and nobody wants to feel robbed, which I would've had it not been for the staff here and their generosity. It wasn't their fault but they still took it personally upon themselves to make it right and make sure I wasn't unhappy. Superb store and service.

“I love the service of some employees there. Especially that one girl with red hair working there. Though sometimes the atmosphere can appear somewhat stressful (they’re always busy) they have the kindest staff member working there. I always feel welcomed.“

“This is a nice, clean subway in the Zannatos shopping center. The employees were helpful and polite. They got through the line pretty quickly and no mistakes on my order. Not a huge subway but also not the smallest I've been to. Pretty clean from I could see. This subway offering ordering from the subway app which I used and worked pretty well.“

“This location is actually very clean. I came in one night, perhaps 30 mins before they closed and was greeted kindly by Iris. She switched gloves between sandwiches and had a pleasant tone to her voice. Unlike some other workers I have encountered before that just did not want to be bothered with.. at their own job.Thanks to Iris, I have decided to come back to this location in hopes I will see her every time!“

“This is another one of these locations that meets expectations and therefore deserves four stars. Most people might not confuse Subway to be a high-end sandwich restaurant, but they are delivering what they promise and this location is no different than the other franchise locations.“

“Footlong BMT, u toasted, white bread, extra lettuce and onions. That's my sandwich and I'm sticking to it. For fast food, at least it's consistent.... pretty much the same sandwich, regardless of location. I'd venture to say it's good fast food. I'd wouldn't make a habit of it though.“
