“I came here on a whim on a Sunday and realized they are closed on Sundays. I decided to come back on a Tuesday and was not disappointed! It's a small place tucked away in the corner of a shopping center. The inside is clean and quaint. The staff is very nice, they greeted me when I came in and when I grabbed my food to leave. The prices are affordable, and the steak sandwiches come with fries included! They have many other menu options, and I will definitely swing by again to try something different from them. I ordered the Bob's Hoagy. It was packed with meat and cheese. It also included fresh onions, lettuce, and tomatoes. There was a good balance of meat, cheese, and produce and a good portion for the price of $13! The fries it came with were perfectly cooked and crispy, and not too greasy.Parking: This parking lot is always crowded at night.“

“Tried the cheesesteak with just onions and cheese to see if it tastes like an authentic Philly cheesesteak . It was pretty good but my only complaint is that it needed more gooey cheese. It ate a little dry but had really good flavor and I like how they chopped the steak up. The bread was nice. Pretty reasonable pricing too. I would go back again to try one of their cheesesteak hoagies with the additional toppings. Also, got the popcorn chicken and it was tasty.“

“This place has been here basically forever since I first lived in San Leandro and the food has always been consistently tasty and fresh. Run by a cute Korean mom and pop couple, the value for a quick lunch is solid. Yes, post pandemic inflation has caused prices to increase but you get what you pay for. Hoagy steak has been a staple for me as an SL local and I would recommend it for anyone who is looking for a regular lunch take out place.“
