It's rare to meet someone who naturally makes people feel welcomed and loved, but Shawny does exactly that. Her positive energy was contagious, and her authenticity stood out in the best possible way. By the end of our visit, we felt like we'd come back just to see her again.

“Lovely, fresh, cheerful, simple, spotlessly clean, inexpensive South Indian spot on Telegraph. I tried the Idli Vada Combo with sambar and coconut chutney, and a cup of chai. The sambar was nice and everything was so fresh! The vada was extra light and crunchy. I'll be back for the thayirsadam when I'm a bit hungrier! Check it out!“

Best fried fish I’ve ever eaten, and everything on the tasting menu was excellent: the corn bread, salad, boiled peanuts, shishito peppers, hushpuppies and beans and rice. “I often order the curry udon with chicken katsu from here and find the quality consistent and delicious, and the service good. Demiya does lack a personal touch by having an order kiosk rather than someone to help up front, but the staff do still step in if it looks like someone is having trouble.“

“Very clean and open space. I ordered the grapefruit tea with lychee jelly which was delicious but also too sweet so next time I will tweak my order to have less sugar. My daughter ordered the milk tea with boba and puff cream (I think that is what it was). She loved it! We received our drinks promptly. Located near Fenton's“
