“I haven’t had a milkshake at Jack in a box for many years . They used to be so good but the one I got today wasn’t good at all. When I tried to drink it nothing would come up in the straw. I took the straw out and sucked the whip cream put . Put it back in and still no ice cream . I got vanilla and I never even tasted vanilla . All it tasted like was whip cream and it wasn’t a good taste . So I paid over $5.00 for a shake with hardly any ice cream in it . If I ever get a shake there again I will ask for no whip cream .“

“It’s been so hot lately - pineapple green agua Fresca really hits the spot!
Love the fish tacos here- nice and crispy. Salsa verde on the side. We came around noon and there wasn’t a line.
Aloha club next door was open as well if you wanted to get drinks there.
Nice outdoor seating and vibe!“

“We were looking for a taco place with my sister and we found this place. It is very clean and very friendly. It is so delicious, especially the tacos al pastor and the burritos are super large. I recommend them“
“At first I felt it was pricy for the tacos....but once i tasted them.... well worth it...im from modesto and there is a taco truck in every corner... so im definitely gonna stop by every time I come to Oakland....On another note I also had a torta de carnitas and it was average price, delishious, and huge
Parking: Limited space inside but plenty of street parking“

“Great quality, always get it the way you ask for it, reasonable prices.... I stayed on a late night truck run when my wife was pregnant. You could throw a rock and hit 5 taco trucks in the same area and none are as good. There's this one guy who always asks about my kids always is friendly but he's the same way with everyone, no favorites. Quality spot in the cut...“

“This place looks a little 'sketchy', BUT the food is very good. I was working an event at the Oakland Colesium, and this was the only place you could walk to. If you can speak a little Spanish, it goes a long way. I got the Cubana sandwich, and it was so big, I could only eat half of it.“

“I tried this place for the first time today and highly recommend. The tacos are massive. I wasn't expecting them to be so big but I was pleasantly surprised. They put a healthy amount of cilantro and onion which I loved and the salsa picante had a little kick but a ton of flavor.“
“best street corn ever !! looking forward to trying there other stuff“

“? Alright folks, here’s the deal: Living in Alameda has me often yearning for some legit taco action. But I’ve found that I usually need to head over to Oakland to truly satisfy those cravings. And that’s exactly how I ended up at this taco truck!Nestled in Oakland, this spot was a serendipitous find on an evening adventure. The setting is chill, making it the perfect backdrop for some true street taco vibes. And speaking of streets, there’s a handy parking lot right at the corner, so you can just park and wander over with ease.I dove into two pastor and two carne asada tacos, and even though they’re on the petite side, they don’t skimp on flavor. My plate was brimming with extras - a generous helping of radishes and jalapeños which added that fresh zing to every bite. And oh, those salsas! Perfectly spiced and absolutely delightful. Now, are these the all-time champions of my taco experiences? Maybe not. But when the taco craving hits in Alameda, this Oakland gem is definitely worth the short trek. Can’t wait to see what the rest of their menu holds on my next visit!“

“Felt like I was back in the motherland (Mexico). The dark, sketchy street just adds to the atmosphere. This place takes zelle if you don't have cash. The tacos are 3 bucks a pop, and they fill them fat. Best dang taco I've had in a while.“

“Amazing food! I go here twice a week probably and they even remember my name now. It’s all really good so I switch it up. The buche is unusual so I like to get that and it’s very fresh . Very nice people and clean. My go to is 4 Asada tacos with a chile on the side. You won’t regret making this place a new favorite.“

“Best carnitas I’ve had in the bay so far. Super flavorful, and perfect balance of moist but with yummy crunchy bits. Delicious homemade tortillas and amazing salsa. This is a mom and pop shop!! Don’t expect a super fast process, but everyone is super nice and the food quality is 10/10.“

“It's not bad. Tacos de tripas. The tripas are almost on point but just really depends on the person I like them a little bit crunchy.
The only downside really was the portion size and the tortilla was a bit raw it didn't fully heat up. The other downside is the sauces.
The green sauce is not hot nor does it have flavor or salt it's just smushed sauce.
And the red one almost looks like ketchup texture with no flavor either. I could taste more the grease from the taco then the sauces.
Overall I'll say it's a 4 star the first time I showed up I wasn't a fan of it but this was years ago.
Add oil to the tortillas or tortillas all vapor also hits the spot.“

“I’d give this place 6 stars if I could. Not only do they undoubtedly have the best Tacos on all of Oakland, they have incredibly honest and kind service. When I had a communication error with the store - they not only rectified the situation, but went above and beyond in their solution. I will be recommending this place to everyone I know. Great tacos, great leadership and great prices“

“Chicken burrito was excellent. The chicken was perfectly seasoned. The carnitas tacos were good not as fresh as I'd like it to be but I did order later in the evening on a Saturday. I liked that the tortillas for my tacos weren't oily like other taco places. I would stop in again if I'm ever in the area.“
“This was a very enjoyable meal. The flavors were very good and the plate size was good. Prices are reasonable. probably the only reason for a 4 instead of a 5 rating was having to pay for chips and salsa to start and the automatic adding of a fee for using a credit card. I did not see that on the menu, so felt that it was a surprise exra charge.“

“This place is actually underrated! The burrito bowl is delicious and I've seen other dishes that looked tasty. Also I think google need to recreate the star rating because if the food is delicious but I didn't like how the bathroom didn't have hand soup. The restaurant doesn't deserve 1 star for that. I'm reading reviews for 1 &2 stars and I'm going that's not 1 or 2 star worthy. That's petty“

“I really REALLY recommend this place for family and friends the food is AMAZING ever since I tried the tacos I could not stop going here every day. The service is ok there in the middle for fast food because sometimes they have to many orders and they go really slow but over all it’s great . The atmosphere needs a little more decor kinda boring just seeing a table and you food.“

“Dang the food is delicious here yeah you can't get a margarita but there's a liquor store next door. You can get a michelada and pour some tequila that you got from next door in your drink. I got to tell you the enchiladas I had perfectly acidic not spicy so that you could add the spice you wanted to. The garden I saw that was super tasty char from being on the grill and full of flavor. I will definitely pick this place again over laughing at the any day. And it cost me about 25% less for a plate that was a hundred times better than La Piñata. .“
“Food like a homemade traditional kitchen the asada is amazing and fresh. Delicious food wonderful people. The website needs to update prices on the menu, the burrito grande is $12.59 now, but so worth it. Comes with avocado slices beans rice meat onions cilantro etc“

“Good food, but it took 20 minutes just standing around last night waiting to order. Place felt kinda sketchy, too. People begging right at the truck ain't good either. Had like 3 people trying to service 40 customers. It's better to go during the day.“

“Thrifty prices for this food truck if you’re hungry and near Hegenberger. It’s a good find particularly since they offer a $8 veggie burrito ? tax is included so that’s a bonus. I had the chicken one and it’s ok.-the red sauce was better that average and fresh radishes, pickled carrot slices and quality jalapeños.The churros were fresh, temperature hot, 10”, and outstanding— nice servers plenty of parking ?️ I will revisit ? grateful they are there ☀️“

“A Flavorful Journey to Zacatecas: A True Taste of Authentic Mexican Cuisine Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I recently had the pleasure of dining at Cecilia's Zacatecas Mexican Restaurant, and I must say, it was a truly delightful experience. As soon as I walked through the door, I was captivated by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The aroma of freshly prepared spices filled the air, instantly transporting me to the heart of Mexico. Cecilia's dedication to preserving the authentic flavors of Zacatecas cuisine shines through in every dish. The menu is a treasure trove of traditional delights, showcasing her expertise in crafting delectable recipes. The Birria, a slow-cooked stew bursting with rich flavors, was an absolute standout. Each spoonful was a heavenly blend of tender meat, aromatic spices, and a hint of smokiness. It was a true testament to the care and passion that goes into Cecilia's cooking. Another must-try at this restaurant is the Zacatecas-style Gorditas. These handheld delights are made with love and expertise, with a perfectly fluffy masa exterior encasing a variety of mouthwatering fillings. Whether you opt for savory meats or flavorful vegetarian options, each bite is a symphony of textures and tastes that will leave you craving more. To complement the meal, Cecilia offers traditional Mexican beverages that are as refreshing as they are authentic. The Café de la Olla is a fragrant and invigorating cup of coffee brewed with cinnamon and piloncillo, giving it a unique twist. And the Agua de Horchata, a rice and cinnamon-based drink, provides a soothing and creamy accompaniment to the vibrant flavors of the food. It's clear that Cecilia's passion for cooking stems from her upbringing and the invaluable knowledge passed down to her by her mother. Her dedication to preserving the culinary traditions of Zacatecas is evident in every plate she serves. Not only does she deliver exceptional food, but her warmth and welcoming nature also create an inviting ambiance that makes dining at her restaurant a truly memorable experience. In addition to her culinary prowess, Cecilia's persistence as a Latina business owner deserves applause. It is inspiring to see her success and how she has brought a taste of Zacatecas to our community. Supporting local businesses like Cecilia's is a way to celebrate culture and diversity while enjoying incredible food.“

“Hey y’all it’s ya boy, BnJ reviews, back for another burrito review.
This burrito was my favorite in a while. They had self service salsa bar and seating! Plus, there was a church gospel preaching the word of Jesus Christ our savior. Amen to God, amen to Mexico, and Amen to burritos. Amen.“
