Unbelievably delicious carnitas, and nice people, too!
I hope I find this in heaven. Hands-down, one of the best Carnitas I’ve had. Run out of a taco truck in a very unassuming location. Juicy, tender and they give generous portions. I got that fairly late at 2PM and everything was sold out except for the carne. The person I spoke to said to come early usually before noon if you want to have a taste of everything else. There are two tents set up with tables and chairs.
Best tacos ever, consistently. Every time I come to Oakland I’m just waiting for Sundays to come. Highly recommend mixtos, also shoulder (incredibly flavorful) and rib if you like ribs (it falls right off the bone).
