“My husband and I absolutely LOVE Hungry Bear. Not only is the food high quality, but so are the people that own + operate this business. Every sandwich is big + BOMB. Our favorites are the chicken cordon blue and the cheese burger sub. We miss having the Escondido location near by, but it's worth the drive to Vista! “
“My wife and I first tried out this place about 2 months prior to this review. The food, service, and fair prices made me come back and bring a friend. Salad: crisp, fresh produce like straight out of the garden. Sandwiches: hand-prepped, perfectly cooked and seasoned beef & lamb; perfectly baked sandwich rolls; peppers and onions perfectly finished. Baklava: super flaky with perfect sweet. This should not be confused with fast food. It is hand-cooked perfection. Staff obviously take pride in their work, so the service was great. Hmmmm...should I come back? YA THINK?“

“I get Charley's nearly every week on Wednesdays, since I always visit the mall on Wednesdays. I made it a "tradition" of sorts. After a while, however, I would go to order my food (anytime between 12-2), and for maybe a whole month, whenever I went to the food court, there was no one working around. I'd wait for a few minutes, and not one person would come out the back. That was really disappointing, and I was super frustrated, especially since there was no sign up explaining what was going on. However, a little while ago they started back up, and they've been better than ever. Not exactly anything to especially applaud, but nowadays, that's all you need: a restaurant doing its job, and doing it well. There have been a few occasions where the staff has particularly impressed me, just in their demeanor and sweetness. But I really recommend Charley's. I eat here VERY often, and since that month of not knowing what was going on, I've had good experiences all around.“
“I walked by this place of number of times, even walked inside, but not gotten a Philly steak and cheese. But today I was really hankering, and I remembered this place. I asked the cashier is this going to be the Philly steak I've ever had outside of Philly, he immediately said yes . He was RIGHT!! They ship tge rolls from Philly!!! Clean and spacious inside with an outdoor patio“
