“I ordered the Tuna Melt and it was yummy! I love how evenly they cooked the sandwich and it’s not overly oily for my taste. The tuna tastes very fresh and I can tell the whole sandwich was made with love.

There is a bit of a wait but trust me it’s worth it!“

“We have driven passed this place for 20 years and never stopped because the location is kinda weird and the outside doesn’t look very appealing.
Well we are KICKING OURSELVES for not stopping sooner!!! We finally decided to give it a try and it is DELICIOUS! Everything is so fresh and tasty. All the staff is also very friendly and welcoming.
Not much sitting inside though, it’s kinda small and the place was packed both times we stopped by.

“Hello Deli was a hole in the wall that was hidden in the business park that I worked in.

I used to visit this deli fairly often as I loved their sandwiches. The best parts of the deli were the prices, portion sizes and the flavor. These sandwiches are stacked!

The atmosphere of the place though is not the best as it is showing its age. It is supposed to be reminiscent of New York with many of the classic images of the city there.

If you are simply going for the food then you will be hooked up. If you want the ambience then this is not the best option.

It is best as a place for those that are on lunch that need a hefty fix for a good value.“

“It was my first time coming here and they did not disappoint! The lady was really nice and welcoming! The food is DELICIOUS! The agua fresca of honey dew is perfect ! Not too sweet, but w good flavor ! I will definitely come again ! Also , when I got home the food (quesadilla and croissant )was still hot/warm which was perfect I didn’t have to reheat it!“

“Campus Café is a fantastic food stop for breakfast or lunch. Today I did their Korean barbecue that was their special for Thursday. So yummy. Has just the right amount of fight and balanced out nicely with the salad. You won’t be disappointed coming here.“

Prices are perfect not overpriced at all. They have range, burgers, sandwiches, chili, salads. I enjoy the cheeseburgers, chicken salad is one of a kind! They let you order a la crate and customize your food however you want. They make breakfast plates or burgers! They ladies up front are extremely nice, they remember your name. “It's a hidden gem. I have driven by multiple times but I never knew this place existed. I was referred by a customer at another brewery. He said the sandwiches here were great, they were big and you could share one with someone else. He also said the beer wasn't the greatest but he goes for a sandwich often. Parking is not great and when you walk in there is a beer menu but you have to read the paper menu to find out what is in the sandwich. The sandwich took about 30 min to come out. All that being said the sandwich was great, definitely worth the wait! The bacon is crispy. The bread was good and it was actually just the right size. I ordered an IPA and it was very good my friend that I went with also liked his sandwich and beer. The staff was great and everyone seemed to know each other and were very nice. I will be a new regular here for sure. Oh also reasonably priced, beer was $7 sandwich $13.“

“This place is great. I have been coming here for lunch for five years. Family owned. Jimmy and his wife take great care of you. I love the sandwiches, so delicious. Too many great ones to list out. Very fresh ingredients, just like you made it at home. Great hole-in-the wall spot in Carlsbad.

“Amazing! My wife has a gluten allergy so can’t go many places and ensure the food is 100% so not worth the risk. But here there’s no worry’s and the price of the food was amazing for the huge portions we got which we both have another meal from. It was truly delicious and made completely fresh. Definitely going back for special occasions and even telling friends who aren’t gluten free. I’m not and the carne asada fries were the best I’ve had. We live in Oceanside and they beat Ramones and Sanchos

“Delicious vegetarian sandwich, has the farm fresh touch, homemade chimichurri was excellent. Great atmosphere, lots of fun beverages. I met the owner there, I could see how she takes pride in what she does and the community. I prefer to support owner-run small businesses rather than chains. And it’s easy to do when they make such good food!

“I have not tried any juices or fruits' YET?. Although I have tried the tortas and they are wonderful. The bread is so fresh and soft unlike the Que torta bread. Also has more meat and fresher ingredients. Have to say I have found my torta shop even if its across town from my house.It is worth the distance for the better quality. “We have liked Honey Baked Hams for many years and usually will have one or two of them each year. This year we bought a small one for our Christmas dinner. It was small because we are keeping our distance during the pandemic.To get a ham, you will need to order it ahead of time. To pick it up, the order will stay when it will be available. we arrived at this place about 2:00 PM on Tuesday and the line to get in the store showed there were about six people in line. The store is small, and there are other things like deserts available, so the browsing of the people tends to make the line slower than it might be at a less busy time.Our wait to get took about twenty-minutes to go from waiting in line to placing the ham in the trunk. Tomorrow, we'll have the ham and it would surprise me if it wasn't just as perfect as we are expecting.This is small, but nice store. The people are helpful and pleasant.“
