This place is really great! It’s much better than Nijiya. I wish I knew about this place sooner. I don’t think they accept food stamps, but they’re also a small business (and not a corporate Japanese grocery store). I know it’s not the same as the also-cool Mexican grocery store near the Caltrain station that accepts food stamps, but people are trying. Under new ownership! Had passed the grand opening signs and was curious to try. The March deals are insane - $0.99 tacos $7.99 burritos and so delicious too. Serving size was good, meat was cooked well, and service was great. Will definitely be back!
