“First time trying this restaurant and I will be coming back. Great customer service, very nice and helpful. The food was delicious and they switch up which is amazing. I am a very picky eater and I have no complaints about this place. I love it here it is perfect for breakfast, brunch, dinner and any special occasions.Dietary restrictions: I personally cut off pork and if you let them know they will recommend or accommodate to your needs.“
“This is my new favorite place. It was so good. I've only been here once but I'll definitely be going back. And it's only two blocks from where I live, so it's super convenient. But I'm sad now because I'm moving back to South Carolina and don't think that I'll be able to find Guatemalan food there. I'll be a regular here until I leave. I had the dobladas and the estofado de res, or beef stew, and both were delicious. The dobladas are like empanadas. The pastry isn't flaky like Argentinean empanadas, so they're a little different. They're plump with more stuffing than pastry. There are four in an order, and they come in beef, chicken, or vegetables. The meat stuffing was mixed with carrots and peas, which I liked. The woman taking my order said I could get a mix, so I got two chicken and two beef. Both were delicious. They came with sour cream, grated cheese and guacamole on the side. I don't understand the reviewer who said they lacked flavor. I thought they were very good. I'd order them again. I'd like to try the vegetable one, too. The estofado de res wa also very good, with chunks of tender beef, potato and carrots in a tomatoey gravy. It came with a scoop of rice and potato salad. My mother is from Spain, and the potato salad reminded me of the kind they make in Spain, with peas and carrots. I enjoyed it a lot. I got my order to go, and the ladies who work there gave me a complimentary cup of alote de etol, the warm sweet corn drink, while I waited. It was also very good. My food was ready so fast I had to take it to go. I didn't take any photos because I was too busy eating. I couldn't finish all of the food in one meal, so I saved about half of it for lunch the next day. I can't wait to try their other dishes soon :-) Ambience is casual. The dining area itself is small. Free parking in the back with a disabled spot at the front of the driveway. Service 5/5 Food 5/5 Price 4/5“
“Perfect spot for #tacotuesday ?Got the al pastor tacos and inhaled them way before it even occurred to me to get photos and post a review. They were delicious, highly recommend! Al pastor burrito was good too.Edit : ordered in a bunch of times and LOVE the Al pastor burrito. This is my go to taco spot and my faves are the fried shrimp, chorizo and Al pastor. They don’t skimp on the filling, so 3 tacos is a hearty meal. Soooo good 10/10“
“The Torta Cubana was very delicious! The bread was buttery and crunchy which paired very well with the meaty filling. I really appreciate when a place uses a good amount of mayo, but not excessive and Cholita Linda aced it! Their agua de Tamarindo was also nicely tart and sweet which I absolutely would return for!“
“We had reservations for 6 of us.Menus were on tablets that were on the table for guest to viewWe order appetizers plus 6 main dishes.Every dish was beautifully presented and very delicious. Our waiter was funny, helpful and polite in our likes and dislikes. He was very attentive to our needs which made our first time very memorable..The Flan dessert was so good and tasty.I will definitely go back.Extra points for having easy parking too.Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs and welcome families with toddlers“
“Had brunch with my wife here because they just opened up in Albany. We shared the scone, I ordered the Chilaquiles and my wife ordered the breakfast sopes.Everything was delicious and food came out in good timing. The staff was also attentive and gave us space to eat and chat.Would come here again! We also ordered the Tri Tip Sandwich and the Chicken Gordita to-go. Also super tasty! Really though, try this place out yourself!Update: Feb 11, 2024Went back for lunch with my wife to try different items on the brunch menu. Wife got the Mt.Tam Potatoes, I got the banana French toast (both served in a generous serving size). We couldn't help ourselves so we got a scone to share, a blueberry pancake and a banana pancake with fried chicken on the side.Everything came out timely and tasted amazing. Consistency is something we feel demonstrates whether a restaurant has their stuff down or not. Second time ordering the scone was not a disappointment. The service was also consistent, they were readily available but we didn't feel rushed. We will continue coming here!“
“I go to Angel's for the breakfast burrito with bacon. It always delivers, esp. with some hot sauce. The building and interior need some TLC, but if you look past that you'll discover a gem with quick, friendly service. Grab coffee from Catahoula across the street.“
“I tried there chicken pepian , it’s was so delicious that I went there the next day . I also tried there combo BBQ , It’s so tasty, the seasoning and well cooked . The staff is so friendly and eager to help . When you try the pepian chicken as for the country chicken one , it’s so tasty . There Tortilla is hand made and really tasty . The rice we get with the chicken is amazing as well . I will go there again when I go to San Pablo. It’s worth a visit if you are driving anywhere within 5-10 miles . Support Local businesses“
