“Been in Pedro for more than 12 years & never tried this place. My son loved it & I had every intention of eventually trying it out. My daughter came for a visit & chose this place to eat. She ordered the chicken wrap & absolutely loved it! She said it was flavorful & fresh & that the lady who runs it was really sweet & friendly, she even got a hug! I didn't get anything this time, but I will definitely be giving them some business in the near future!“
“Hidden gem. Stopped by a bit early on a Friday night with my wife and kiddo and we had a fantastic experience. Cocktails were tasty, food was delicious, service was excellent, and the vibe was super friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend the roasted cauliflower, tuna bruschetta, farmer's cheese, the duck special if they have it, and any one of their fantastic (healthy pours) wines on tap. Can't wait to come back!“
“Ordered a falafel burrito and the hummus with pita, and cheese quesadilla with chipotle sauce on the side via Uber eats.I wasn't crazy about the pita bread itself and the hummus was just ok, but the falafel burrito was great! I love the fries in it and the tahini is delicious. The burrito is very large and very filling, I ended up saving half for the next day and it was still just as tasty. I highly recommend getting a side of chipotle sauce to dip anything you order in!“
“The staff was friendly and very attentive. I dined with a party of 6 and everyone seemed to enjoy the food and the portions were generous . We shared the mezza appetizer which was delicious and definitely enough for the 6 of us. I ordered a chicken bowl which was tasty but the chicken kabob was overcooked.“
“Delicious, quick and friendly service. Many different menu options to choose from: appetizers, a la carte, soups, pita wraps, gyro bowls, house specialties, vegetarian, and all the way to a combo meal for the whole family. Don't forget to save room for the Arabic coffee and dessert!Vegetarian options: Greek Salad, Falafel Plate, Veggie Stew, Lentil Soup, Hareera Stew“
“Absolutely exceptional food. They always exceed the expectations of any guests I invite and they did so this time.I ordered the salmon kebab today. I was worried it would be dry but it was nice and moist. Great herbs the salmon. Excellent hummus and their garlic sauce is always amazing. Most places do vegetables as an after thought but they are a great main feature here.Vegetarian options: I ordered salmon kabob but it came with a vegetable kabob. Unlike most places where vegetables are an afterthought here they are a main feature. I wasn't specifically looking for vegetarian options I'm sure they have something great for vegetarians.“
“This is my favorite place in the south bay, its mandatory after a beach day, I would take a photo but i always ravage the food from beach or gym hunger before I can…. This place is just unbeatable in the category's it serves. I see it as the best in Mediterranean, portion size, flavor, quality and all out healthy for you, I eat here year round but i start eating alot more in the months leading to summer. got to get my summer body ready!!Vegetarian options: a lot of options for vegetarians its labeled with a green leaf if i remember correct. im not even a vegetarian and i always order their maison special salad, im sure you can just get any salad with no chicken as well.“
“I’m from Utah and I come here with my aunt all the time I visit for the first time ever we waited longer then we usually do because they gave our order to someone else but it was no problem they promised us it would be out very soon which it did and I’m happy that even better gave us desserts on the house got my self a water the lady in black I don’t know her name was very nice and helpful I asked her if her baklava had any peanut and she showed me the ingredients which had none so I’m grateful for that I really love this place and it’s the first place I want to go when I first California I highly recommend this place to everyone best chicken ever I love this place so much from the bottom of my heart“
“The food is amazingly delicious!! Wow. So glad that this place opened. A MUST try!!! The owner Ben is super nice! He seems to really care about his customers and the quality of his food. I've visited numerous times and my favorite food is the Chicken wrap. The place is small but very clean looking.“
“I had Lamb wrap. The lamb was top quality and melted in my mouth. My friend had the koubideh kabob and again the quality of the meat was second to none. Hameed was very attentive and gave us a lovely sample of cauliflower soup and he’s very passionate about the food served. Farhad was our server and he was an absolute joy! You can tell when someone enjoys their work. Fantastic food and wonderful service.Oh and no forgetting I had the chocolate tart for dessert….it was heavenly! Yum yum yum“
“While the location is not the absolute best, the food and service makes up for any faults. I used to go there all the time when I was younger, and recently decided to try it again a few times. It did not disappoint. I had a chicken kabob with came with an immense amount of sides to go along including white rice, pita and hummus, along with a few vegetables, and garlic sauce. Everything is perfectly seasoned and nothing is bland. This will definitely become a future regular place.“
“Been past this place hundreds of times, finally ordered out and I am glad I did! Compared to any other Mediterranean grill this is the best! Everything was seasoned to perfection, full of flavor, and filling. We got the Shwarma mix plate and the Kabob Mix plate, that way we were able to try the chicken and beef. The kabobs : amazing, the beef was perfectly grilled and seasoned. The chicken was garlicky and char grilled but not burnt. The beef shwarma was full of flavor as well as the chicken.I'm typically not the biggest hummus fan as I've had a lot that have been pasty or gritty, lacked flavor or too oily. This hummus was great! I tried it thinking meh I'll probably let my husband have it bit after the first bite I devoured it with the pita.Oh the rice! Wow! It was buttery and tasted like it was cooked in a broth.I went in not expecting to be so pleased with our meal and by the time we finished everything, we were satisfied and know know where to grab amazing Mediterranean food whenever we crave it. It was about $20 per plate per person but the quality of the food, the taste and the portion is well worth it!“
“Taste like homemade food. Chicken was moist, vegetables were just right, not crunchy nor mushing. The same goes for the rice. Food was lightly seasoned. Health options for a restaurant/ fast food place. The price of each meal is around $16 -$21.Kid-friendliness: Family friendly“
“I recently tried out a new dining spot and ordered the Kebab Plate, Chicken Plate, and a Kids' Plate. The prices were surprisingly affordable, offering great value for money. The food had a delicious, healthy taste that was immediately noticeable. The staff at the restaurant created a welcoming atmosphere, and I was impressed by the meticulous cleanliness of the place. One unique aspect that stood out was that the card payment process did not prompt for a tip, which was unexpected but appreciated. This was my first visit, and the positive first impression makes me want to become a regular customer.“
“Came to this spot for the first time last Friday on a double date ! Very cute spot for a date night or even with friends and family . It’s a cute restaurant. Luckily we made reservations because it’s very busy ! Omgosh the pita and the beef hummus and labneh ! Was my favorite ! The desserts were all so good too ! We ordered the fatoush salad and the rice - excellent ! We kept ordering pita - remember they aren’t free ! The price is a little steep but the food and the service were good so we were pleased !Parking: There’s a lot on that street“
“MUST try FALAFEL sandwich. Perfect with thin pita, scrumptious fresh veggies & sauce. Now my favorite in SoCal. Sorry, intended to get picture but sooo good forgot..lolAzzie is amazing & explains how all is cooked fresh. Went back and bought tge lentil soup!“
“Today was my first time eating at this restaurant, and I loved it. The food, service, and cleanliness are great. I'm definitely coming back! The only issue is that prices should be updated in the menu section inside the store to avoid confusion.“
“Amazeballs! One of the best Mediterranean places I've been to. My friend who's Egyptian showed me this place. I have to say this is better than zankou chicken. I know they're both chain restaurants but still. The grape leaves are amazing. I got the kofta kabob and it was tender and juicy. Oh and the garlic sauce. Mwah chef's kiss.“
“This is what it’s all about. Nile, the owner, is there on the daily and has been for 23 years with his staff pumping out good vibes and delicious authentic food. I love to see a locally owned and operated place killing it the way they do.“Best falafel in the country” with spices sourced directly from Jordan.“
“First time here, we had lunch and we both had the grilled lamb chops plate. Service was very good and friendly. The food came quick and it was fresh and very delicious. Lamb is tasty. Mango Lasi is so good. We will definitely come back!. Area is clean.“
“Good food.Chicken and gyro meat $19.99 (1240 calories) Double Protein. Really good and a lot of food.I shared with my husband and it was pretty good.Hummus original $6.29 (375-940 calories) with veggies. They put carrots. Good carrots.I was expecting variety of veggies but the carrots were really fresh and crunchy.Good music. Perfect volume of the music. Music is one of the most important things when I go to a restaurant. I don’t like loud music because you cannot talk and it is very annoying.Service was really good the cashiers are friendly and fast.Clean tables, good lighting, variety of food. They have plates, salads, pitas, hummus, bowls, sauces and wraps.Del almo fashion center is one of my favorite malls around Los Angeles.Next time I want to try the falafel and feta dressing.Falafel plate costs $14.79 (920 calories)We only spent $28.91 USD for 2 people.Parking: Del almo fashion center has a huge parking lot.Plenty of parking around.“
“Amazing experience, this is the only way I can describe our visit. I ordered the eggplant and my wife ordered the falafel. Food was as authentic as I remember it from my living and visiting the Middle East. we will definitely visit Yalla again.“
“Modern interior yet cozy and warm.Service is excellent - attentive but not hovering or rushing you to make selections.Menus are well balanced with a variety of classic and new combinations of favorites and more importantly everything was delicious - great cocktails, yummy pastas, fish and juicy steaks + short ribs!!!“
“If I could give the service 10 stars I would. This place is seriously amazing. The staff Austin and Leo are ALWAYS friendly and helpful. Wonderful dishes. Great price. Perfect service. What more can you ask for in a restaurant? Need to check this place out in downtown Long Beach asap!!Parking: Park at the Hubb for the first two hours free !“
“I ordered their rice plate with salmon kabob with a choice of three sides, hummus, vegetables, and tomato and cucumber. They gave a pita bread that was the thickest I’ve ever had. It definitely seems like everything is home made here and it was so delicious too!!! Even their fries are freshly sliced and delicious. Customer service was exceptional. Their tree is so cute too! This place is definitely added to my list of favorite eateries in the area!“
“We have ordered here multiple times and are always satisfied with how the food is, but the service is top notch. We have spoken with multiple people who are so kind, but Raja was one of the people that helped us as well. Due to my long commute he always helps time my food order to my arrival. It helps me make sure i can have a healthy meal, and a tasty one when i get home. I cant appreciate this place more.Parking: If you cant park here, you dont own a car“
“Its almost authentic only if it was prepared and sold by an Iranian chef then I would consider it authentic persian foodIts good food and reasonable pricing compare to what you pay for a burger these daysThe koobideh I wish it to be a little juicier and not burned the reason is missing one key ingridientThat is why I called it non authenticThe rest is fantastic.“
“I generally order Uber eats for my mom and have it delivered, but today, not only had her order delivered, but on the way home, I stopped with my wife and had lunch at the Yellow Vase in Rolling Hills. My wife had the Turkey Club Panini, and I had the California Omelet. My wife had a cappuccino, and I had a black coffee and OJ. The place is quaint and pleasant and the staff is very kind and professional.Recommended.“
“The customer service is exceptional! The cook and guy who helped us at the register were very nice & gave us recommendations. The food itself was some of the most delicious plates I have tried. I got the number 9 & the lamb chops. Salad was fresh! All meats cooked to perfection & juicy. Most places I've tried are very dry but not this place. The spicy potatoes are AMAZING! Not spicy but very tasty Will definitely be going back.“
“QUITE LITERALLY one of the best hidden gems in LA. The chicken skewers are jumbo and the sides are FIRE. The mac and cheese is just as good as the best I've ever had. The brussel sprouts are solid. One of the BEST values out there. And hidden in a super market. Whoda thunk?Vegetarian options: Brussel sprouts. Vegetable medley.“
“love this place, food always makes my body feel amazing afterwards, I'm going to be coming by a lot more to get my summer body ready, keep it up guys!!!Vegetarian options: there is alot, maybe like 15 from what i saw. its the best Mediterranean healthy food aroundKid-friendliness: really friendly staff mostly highscool and college students with good behaviorWheelchair accessibility: everything is wide and accessible from what i saw“
“I had an amazing dining experience .The flavors of their kebabs are out of this world. The meat was perfectly tender and seasoned to perfection. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with friends or family. The service was impeccable, and the staff was incredibly friendly. I can't wait to come back and try more of their delicious offerings. Highly recommended!"“
“A solid place for a quick meal. Clean and friendly with small parking lot in rear. We had a few different platters and liked everything. Hummus was fresh and shawarma was delicious. Happy to have another option in RB. Pricing pretty standard these days.“
“I'm not sure why it took me so long to try this place, but I'm so glad Uber Eats suggested it. Firstly, their plates are jam-packed with abundant servings. Secondly, they're protein options are well seasoned, juicy, and delicious. I've had their beef, gyro, and chicken. All three are to die for, but my favorite is their beef and gyro. Lastly, their green sauce is fire/cherry on top. Yes, it's a bit spicy, but nothing you can't tolerate if you enjoy spice. All in all, this place checks off all the boxes for me, and I'm so glad I found it. If you haven't tried it, don't wait. Run! You'll thank me later.“
“I recently had the pleasure of engaging Chicken Dijon in Torrance for catering services for my son's birthday bash, and it was truly a delightful experience. As always, the food was outstanding, but what truly sets this establishment apart is the impeccable service provided by owner Joe. From addressing my numerous inquiries about the menu to alleviating budget concerns swiftly and effectively, Joe ensured a seamless experience. Not only was the cuisine delectable, but it was also delivered promptly and piping hot, a rarity that distinguishes Chicken Dijon from other options. Additionally, I appreciated that there were no issues accommodating our request for primarily vegan, vegetarian-friendly dishes, further enhancing our satisfaction with the catering experience.Vegetarian options: My event was 100% vegetarian, mostly vegan. There were no issues with catering that.Dietary restrictions: I needed a vegetarian and vegan dishes for my event which was not a problem“
“Today I had the pleasure of stopping by this delightful establishment. I was greeted by an amazing woman by the name of Caroline, accompanied by amazing smells of food, music, and not to mention the cleanliness of the dining area. I have been craving some tasty birria and was not quite sure where I could satisfy my cravings. I stumbled across Fatima's Grill, and boy let me tell ya! I ordered the traditional quesabirria tacos and then was told I can even get them with asada and even shrimp wow!! I did half birria and half steak. 10/10 would recommend!! They were cheesy, crunchy, juicy, flavorful, and all in all just amazing!! I also got a birria burrito and again 10/10 would recommend!! Not to mention I had the option to add hot Cheetos to half of my burrito WOW!! All in all the service and the food was impeccable and will definitely tell my friends and family. Please give it a try!! Thank you Caroline !! P.S The sauce in the bottle is tasty if you like a nice spice“
“Parking is tricky accidentally parked where I couldn't enter the building had to drive around. Outdoor covered patio seating. The food was great, the cashier or the cook did mess up on my order though.. I asked for spicy potatoes instead of a salad because I don't eat the salad and she gave me the salad we had a whole discussion of the sides too so I could choose something that wasn't a salad! Aside from that the shrimps had great flavor. The salmon was plain but paired with the bell peppers it was pretty good. ALSO the salmon had bones, almost chocked a few times, beware. Hummus had a little spicy kick to it. The garlic butter was tasty per usual. Got a cookie, because they looked good and they said they were freshly baked. Cookie was good, had Kristy edges. My friend got a raspberry cheesecake she said it was entirely too sweet. I recommend overall, the cashier or the cook not sure who dropped the ball just needs to pay a bit more attention.“
“My sister brought me to this place and I am so happy she did. Service was A1, The food was delicious and plentiful. I definitely will be coming back to try other items on their menu. The gormeh sabzi (prob spelled that wrong) was so tender. I had the beef. The other plate that was ordered was a chicken kebab. We also shared a baklava, which came with 2 pieces, which was perfect. And don't forget to try their persian hot tea.“
“Stopped at Mashawi Grill for a late lunch for the first time. Facilities so clean, looks new but was told they have been opened many years. My sister and I were not super hungry so ordered two small chicken soup and split a chicken wrap. We were so delighted the soup was hot and delicious and the chicken wrap was tender and really delicious served with their Mashawi garlic spread with a touch of lemon. We will recommend this eatery and return soon!“
“The cook/clerk who I think was the owner was very nice. He had to do everything himself so we waited until he was done cooking the previous orders to take ours. The lomo saltado was really good and we got extra fries. The gyro was also good. He gave us lots of sauces on the side. He was wearing a mask and I felt comfortable and safe with his food. Tasted good and yummy is a win win.“
“I may have written a review about Sebastian's Mediterranean Cuisine when it was located in a different downtown area of San Pedro. This review refers to the new location on 6th street - conveniently between the harbor and the Warner Grand Theater. This restaurant is SUPERB! I have eaten there several times over the past few weeks. The food is fresh and plentiful. I have my favorites - first being the Lentil Soup. This is the only place I have eaten lentil soup that didn't have tomato (I am allergic). It is hearty and the flavor is "just right"! Second is their appetizer sampler. We recently tried the three humus trio, buffalo cauliflower, Brussel sprouts that are cartelized, and falafel. Honestly, they are all equally as good! Plus the dish comes with a generous portion of warm pita and a. mini-salad.Next - the kabobs! The seafood / salmon kabob is cooked to perfection. The chicken one is very popular, as well. I frankly found them yummy for a bite or two but wanted to save room for other dishes. The falafel sandwich is absolutely the yummiest! And the greek salad is also a nice addition to any meal!Don't expect a fancy restaurant - it is not. But the food more than makes up for it! And the staff is amazing- very attentive but not overbearing! All in all - I give Sebastian's two thumbs up! Bring your appetite - there is much to enjoy here!Vegetarian options: The lentil soup and hummus trio.“
