“Went there for some Chinese food but they didn't have any to my surprise I found delicious 😋 pancakes not from the area but have been wanting to try this spot and finally got my chance also got to test out the pizza crossaint l very delicious recommended I would drive 🚗 out here again for the food“

“This place is the best and I hope they never close! I grew up in the area but now live out of the country and my family has relocated to the east bay but I still make the 60 min drive all the way to Jelly Donut whenever I come to visit them. The owners are super friendly and generous, often throwing in an extra freebie too. We've tried 4 other donut shops in the east bay and none are even close to as good as these. Long live Jelly Donut!“

“I love how simple and straightforward the donuts are here—and the store itself too! The donuts are really good, fresh, and comforting. No wonder they’ve kept the business going since 1968. “Maybe they put some sugar in the batter or some other ingredient but these donuts are delicious! They have the gamut from plain old fashioned to kid-friendly, day-glo treats. Mom and pop who run it are very nice. Location in a half empty mall is a little dreary.“

“Grew up coming to this donut shop before or after school, back when they used to have ice cream too. I loved getting a scoop of mint chip from Andrew (the owner). I live in town still but opposite ends. There are at least 2 or 3 donut shops closer to me but I'll drive across town to come get the best ones Novato has! Not only because Andrew remembers me and asks about my family but because he really makes the best donuts in town and a delicious ham & cheese stuffed croissant!“

“My daughter had to pee. lol We were on our way to Muir Woods when I saw this donut shop. I ordered some donuts as we waited for the fam to go to the restroom. The young man behind the counter was kind and helpful. The donuts were sooooo good. They were fresh. The quality was exceptional. They are a more artisan version of Lamar’s. They have more variety of donuts than many shops. They even had gluten free and vegan choices. We had regular cake and risen donuts. . I lament that Bob’s isn’t found in our state. We will be returning to this area and we will be back to Bob’s. So happy that my daughter had to pee. 😂“
