The only issue I had with the service was that they did not do a good job of labeling the packages for the other guests in my party.“

“Been coming here for years since i was a little girl where they first began on the corner off civic center & fairview , now located on Bristol & first street behind a shopping center , it’s amazing how i got close to the owner as now knows my husband and I and the lovely ladys as well , they already know us by the usual we always get !! “This is one of my favorite taco spots in Santa Ana. The tacos are soo good. Their salsas are delicious.

They have a nice assortment of drinks along with a nice selection of meats. Their meats are well cooked and seasoned so deliciously.

I can only eat chicken and am often disappointed with chicken tacos since they often lack flavor or are cooked poorly but this place is far from a disappointment. I love coming here time and time again.

There aren't any tables just chairs to sit at. You can also order your plate to go. You can also call to place your order in advance.“

“In my opinion, the best taco truck in Santa Ana. Taco meat is never dry or lacking flavor, salsas are dynamite, and they're tortillas are always crunchy and soft at the same time if that makes sense, if it doesn't, then find out by trying this amazing mobile establishment. I've been here several times and I haven't gotten sick once, and I have a delicate stomach due to ulcers.“

“Been to la Fortuna a couple times and it does not dissapoint. I normally go late at night after work and it hits the spot. They have a variety of meats to choose from and I've tried them all. I like that I'm allowed to have an open tab "cuenta abierta" and keep on ordering tacos. I would say my favorite meats are : cesina, cabeza, asada, suadero, and tripa. I love all their salsas too, they have two greens and one red.(the best is the light green salsa). These tacos melt in your mouth and are the perfect bite size. Give them a try.“

“Holy smokes by far the best tacos I ever had! The flavor was sooooo deep! I never had cabases (head) before and my mind was blown of how GOOOD IT WAS! I also got al pastor and chorizo which was just as yummy! And the horochata they made was sooo unique had a flavor of Carmel but it wasn't! My friend who's Mexican showed me this place and I Thank God because wow felt like i was in Mexico eating it! Highly recommended this place to all those who loves tacos!“

“It's delicious little planets like this that keep me 2 sizes over my ideal waistline. The food is fresh, prepared in an open kitchen, and is really, really fricken good. When I say it's good I mean that the food is a master class in the foundational flavor profiles of Mexican-American cooking. It's like watching Tiger Woods' flawless swing at the Master's, Kobe Bryant under pressure, gracefully sinking a three from way outside, or watching Kelly Slater threading a big, dark, and scary Teahupo'o cavern - It's beautiful.

“Found this place out of the blue and totally worth it! I've tried their quesabirrias, tacos, tamales, and champurado. All of it was super delicious! “It's a food cart stationed in front of the grand market. I had ordered chicken barito and the taste was good. The young boy spoke fluent English but the person making didn't but both of them were very present. I will do takeout again from them.“

“Stopped by tonight after a gala and enjoyed their quesobirrio pizza, variety of tacos such as pork belly and pastor, and asada waffle fries. Huge portions on the fries and the pizza was probably a average medium. I had the pork belly which was flavorful and delicious. I'm super picky on my pastor, so these weren't my favorite, though they were very good. The waffle fries were wonderfully crispy. My favorite was the pizza. It was crispy, flavorful, and freaking delicious. They're open until 11 pm and when we left there was a decent group of people waiting. The chef said that if there's a line they keep serving. Now, that's dedication. They also own the barber shop, so maybe check that out if you need a cut. I'll be back for sure. The food was on point and their customer service was fantastic. “My husband and I decided to host our courthouse wedding reception at Perla. This was an easy decision after only one afternoon of dining there with family, and meeting with Daniel, the manager.
From the first time we were guests at Perla, the staff treated us very well and did not hesitate to help us when it came to this special event. We loved everything. The food at Perla reminded me of food I used to have at families houses, it had that same kind of specialties to it. Our favorites foods that we had were the guacamole, the short rib tacos, salad, and the rice and beans. Daniel was super helpful and went above and beyond setting an intimate dinner for our families up. When we asked at the last minute if they were going to be able to hold a wedding cake for us, they didn’t hesitate to help even in the last hours before our event. When we were frank with them and told them we didn’t have any decorations due to budget issues, they surprised us with simple yet elegant decorations for the tables and everything looked wonderful coming together. The music they played in general was fun and not too loud for an intimate dinner. The whole staff on board was incredibly kind as well. My family and I would definitely make a trip to Perla anytime, and I encourage anyone who is thinking of having an event or even a meal down in Santa Ana to choose Perla.“

Pros:
Fast, plenty of parking, takes debit/credit, plenty of meat on the tacos, good flavor, al pastor cooked on a trompo

Cons:
Can get busy on random days, charge a 3% fee to use debit/credit, customers hog the condiments (how much damn salsa do you need!)

The al pastor tacos at Bravos Tacos are really good. I’ve tried the carne asada and they are also good, but prefer al pastor.

Their aguas frescas are good too, not too sweet and taste homemade, but not sure if they are.

Service is fast, so as long as you aren’t ordering for 8 people, you should expect your order to be ready in 4-5 minutes.

Quesadillas are also big, so if you plan on ordering one, just know that it is a huge flour tortilla.“

“I’ve been coming here since I was little. When I am in the area and in the mood for a burrito, el Triunfo is my go to place. The portions are great. All food is flavorful. I love that a combo plate or quesadilla comes with lettuce, and tomato! Add guac 🥑 for an added fee. I’ve had tacos, quesadillas, and lengua burrito 🌯 it’s amazing. Yum. Food has never disappointed me. Highly recommend.

This establishment takes card, sometimes only cash, which is an inconvenience. So be prepared.

“I am surprised to not see more people whenever I go eat here, as well as more reviews. I have eaten at this location 4x now and the taste and service has been consistent. They have a good variety of meats and options to choose from. Best part is that they have delicious tacos for only $1! They are small tacos with 2 tortillas, but they are topped well and the salsas do not disappoint. I like the touch of the added chopped cabbage on the taco. I definitely suggest you give this truck a try. $1 tacos everyday!“
