Ca' Dario Santa Barbara Reviews
Great service, great food. And it’s in Santa Barbara!
I don’t recall coming here for any occasion but special occasion dinners, and with reservations. This is the first time I’ve rated a seafood appetizer five stars in my life. And I’m not really a seafood type of person. However, the shrimp, calamari, octopus and scallops were delicious. The bolognese has turned my stomach both times I’ve had it-perhaps I’m allergic to veal. I went with a different pasta and fared better.
celebrated my brothers wedding here recently and it was simply fantastic. The staff went above and beyond, even joining in on the party! The food was amazing and I can’t recommend this place enough. Everyone at the wedding raved about it. Thank you for creating such an amazing and welcoming environment to celebrate! And thank you to the staff for working so hard, you guys rocked!

Ca' Dario Santa Barbara is a beloved local restaurant known for its delicious Italian cuisine. The menu features a variety of dishes, including the popular burrata appetizer, linguine a la ragu, risotto with chicken, and the highly praised tagliatelle alla bolognese. The pasta dishes, especially the ravioli with brown butter and sage, are considered some of the best, and the capellini with Bolognese sauce is highly recommended. The restaurant is also known for its seafood risotto and spicy mussel starter, both of which have received positive remarks. Guests appreciate the eggplant appetizer, which is substantial enough to serve as an entrée. The food is consistently excellent and delivered hot. While the restaurant can get quite busy, especially during dinner service, staff are friendly and helpful, making guests feel welcomed, even those with special needs. However, during busy nights, the service may vary as the restaurant sometimes seems short of waiters. Reservations are recommended to enjoy a more relaxed dining experience, but the quality of the food remains top-notch, with dishes like cauliflower gratin, tiramisu, and carbonara being favorites. Antonio, one of the waiters, is noted for being attentive and providing great service.
