I think Wetzel's pump out savory, buttery smells because every time I walk by, I get an uncontrollable urge to pig out. After months of practicing self control, I finally caved and ordered a Wetzle's pretzel wrapped hot dog. The food was about 4 hours old; hard, stale, and unlike the smells pumped out at passerby's. The service was slow and the prices are comparable to other pretzel chains like Auntie Anne's. However, if you do have major food allergies like my friend who is allergic to dairy, I would steer clear because they seem to use the same pans to make every batch. Side note their dough is vegan just ask for it without the butter!

I came here today craving a pretzel and was expecting typical Wetzel's fare. I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the pretzel bites and they were fresh and soft. Much better than the pretzel bites that I have ordered at other Wetzel's locations. The reason this Wetzel's only gets three stars is because the location is super small and cramped and the service was just okay.
