This Mexican restaurant is one of two that we frequent in Santa Cruz County (the other being Los Pinos). This restaurant is closer to fine dining than the other one.Their chips and salsa are great (we love the hot bean dip), and their food is very good. There are lots of consistently good dishes on the menu.Service is usually very good and the atmosphere is usually good as well.Highly recommended.
Last Thursday I went to this restaurant around 8 pmI walked in and it was very cold .I assumed it would warm up as I was seated . But it was very cold the entire visit .The service was not good . The waiter did not bring us the correct beer,. We had to go ask for our salads . The food was not hot . The 2 chili Relionos that I order were terrible . Amazing, you can actually hear yourself think and carry on a conversation in this place! Pleasant staff, comfortable seating, nice atmosphere and I love the mosaic tile art flooring. The food was good, with large servings. I was planning on taking half home for later but I ate the whole thing. I don't know where I put it! I'd definitely go here again for a chill, casual eating experience. Prices weren't so bad either, considering the rise in cost of living lately.
