Subway in Santa Cruz

“I work at a different subway location than this, I thought that I’d stop by and check it out. I asked the lady behind the counter for employee discount and she said no which is completely fine because you’re technically not supposed to use it unless you’re on the clock. She was pretty slow but it’s fine because the sandwich was good. But the problem I had was with the other coworker. There was the older lady behind the counter doing all the work, and there was a younger teenager girl just sitting in the lobby on her phone. I watched the older lady make about 12 sandwiches by herself in the 20 minutes period that I was there. And I know that break times are 15 minutes long. Overall food was alright, and that girl needs to be fired“

“Their tea/coffee machine is broken, but they have poppi soda now, and it could be a part of the meal of the day deal with no extra cost.
I think the current rate is a bit low. They never messed up my sandwich, the lady there even know my name.
In general, it's one of the most affordable food shop here in santa cruz where you can get a meal with 10$, brought a lot of convince to my college life“
