The staff took good care of me and I wound up having such a hard decision. I think the spicy Poke might have been might absolute favorite. “EAT HERE! I unfortunately didn’t catch the name of the gentleman who helped me, but he truly deserves the praise. He was kind, welcoming, and went out of his way to make sure my order was exactly how I wanted it. I got my food to go, and everything was handled with care and professionalism — I really appreciated how seriously he takes hygiene. I’m a nurse, and his hand hygiene was honestly on a medical-professional level. “I’m pretty picky about poke, and 8oz Poke in Studio City never misses. The fish is consistently fresh, the ingredients are high quality, and everything tastes clean and well-balanced. The sauces are a standout—clearly made by someone who really understands flavor.

If you’re not sure what to get: try salmon + tuna over half rice/half greens with avocado, seaweed salad, edamame, masago, crispy onions, and spicy mayo + ponzu. It’s my go-to and it’s been perfect every time.“

“A bit off the beaten path, but delicious acai bowls are available here. I had the chocolate dream (which comes with chocolate chips!) while my friend had the makai bowl. You pick between a regular or large size. We came here after eating sushi for lunch so we were a bit peckish, but eating the regular size brought us over the edge. There were some indoor tables available and a lot more outdoor seating. The outdoor seating was super pleasant and there was a fountain that added to a soothing environment. Free parking. Credit cards accepted. They have smoothies available as well.“

“I love this place. I go almost at least once a week. The employees are wonderful. I have never had a bad or sad poke bowl. Everything is fresh. Trying to stay on the healthy side, I order small scoop of rice and all the sides they offer except for wasabi. My eyes are bigger than my stomach, but I have always restrain from getting the large. Two scoops of protein, which consist of tuna and salmon. A lovely alternative to fast foods. I highly recommend Mono Poke!“

I have visited this place twice, once right around the time it opened, and then within the past few weeks (where I ordered the Uncle Sharkii bowl, which was well worth the extra few bucks). Both times the food was top-notch and among the best poke I’ve had. While the automated ordering was a bit impersonal, it’s a small price to pay if it means this place stays in business. I can’t speak for other people’s experiences, but I think the overall rating should be way higher than it is. It’s a go-to place for me whenever I’m at CityWalk for the movies, etc“
