We had come in with 6 excited kids in tow and their disappointment was so evident when we saw that they were already closed. We were ready to leave when, to our surprise, some of the owners had noticed their disappointment. Instead of sending us on our way, they asked what flavors we were hoping for. They kindly asked us to wait, and within moments, they had cookies for us. I just couldn't believe they would go through such great lengths for just a few cookies.

The owner (I presume) visited our table to tell us about the drinks we ordered, sharing how the rose lemonade is made from scratch on site. The server was equally polite and friendly, sharing how my tiramisu latte should be enjoyed (the creamy top eaten with a spoon halfway, then stirred). I appreciated their interest in making sure we enjoyed everything we purchased to the fullest.“
