There food is so good. The chicken is good the burritos and nachos .
I am generally a pretty patient person. Today at El Pollo Loco that was certainly tested. Before I rant- Saori was awesome! She is the reason it’s not one star because I do love the food here. Saori completely fixed the situation. Rant time: I was making a special request of no lettuce, no tomato so it was a little bit out of the ordinary. El Pollo Loco: proof that a restaurant can nail the one thing in its name and still fumble everything standing next to it. The chicken? Legit good — juicy, smoky, the whole reason “Pollo” gets top billing. But then you look down at your sides and it’s like the chicken invited its sad cousins to the party. The sides could definitely use some TLC.
