“FIFA world cup - we were camping came to town for a few groceries stopped in to watch the world cup - place was packed full of good vibes - high fives yelling laughing celebrating - THE WORLD CUP had a way to unify community and Brunos was the perfect space to be in- staff moving working together - bussers carrying kegs up and down stairs helping bartenders - definitely seen team work both on tv and staff 👏 also best Old-fashioned I've had in a bar- beautiful presentation and taste. We will visit again when in the area.”

“Fried rice with beef and thai tea were amazing. Also had the red curry and spicy basil chicken with flat noodles which were both pretty okay. Daughter ordered Amok (catfish cooked in a banana leaf) and said it was not that good. Staff very kind and helpful and food came out very fast.”

It is not just the great history of the estate which was formerly owned by Alfred Hitchcock, but the delicious and high quality wines that you can sample in this amazing setting. The current owners are very welcoming and attentive and especially dedicated to creating a great tasting experience for their guests. We spend a whole afternoon trying the different wines and I have to say it is rarely the case that I am as pleased with the sampling as I was at Armitage.Next to this, the vineyard offers amazing views. Tucked away in the redwood trees you can see for miles while overlooking the grapes from the top of the estate. When the sun sets in the afternoon, it makes for an amazing play of light and shadows.We truly loved visiting this place and will definitely come back. It is well worth a trip.If this does not convince you, please see the attached photos. I am in no way affiliated to this place, but was simply amazed by our afternoon here.”

“We had a wonderful dinner with friends tonight at Poon Sup Thai Cuisine in Camp Evers. We were greeted by a young man who sat us immediately. Given the warm evening we choose to sit outside at a colorful table with comfortable cushions. Poon Sup Thai is owned by Miles and his delightful wife Lek, who made all the wonderful food we had this evening. This restaurant is a wonderful new find, in the back of Camp Evers at the corner of Mt. Hermon and Scotts Valley Drive. There is plenty of parking and the patio is dog friendly. With lunch specials during the week we invite you to support this new restaurant. You won't be disappointed.”

You’re hungry, you need a sandwich that feels like a sandwich. You don’t want one of those wimpy limp sandwiches that you find for $5. You know the ones, with the iceberg lettuce and the bread that tastes like nothing. You want a MANS SANDWICH. You’re not walking around on your twinkly toes. You might wear a tutu, but that doesn’t define your food desire. That’s right. You want mouth feel. You want to put it in your mouth and not talk for at least 10 minutes. You want food that makes everything stop and take pause. You’re grown, but this sandwich makes your hands look like a child. You’re ready to eat. And eat you shall. That tri tip sandwich is dripping with goodness. It’s a feast between two slices of bread. The thanksgiving sandwich makes you wish you spent your holiday here. “Hubby and I recently discovered this canton restaurant here in Scotts valley. They use no MSG at all! The food is delicious! Its fresh and full of flavor. The restaurant is clean and beautifully decorated oriental style. The service is wonderful! Every time we pop in to eat, they Always have customers. Let's support local. Im telling my neighbors and church friends about this place! I would highly recommend their wonderful ton soup. Its nourishing, fresh veggies and hot! Perfect for winter. Their ginger beef is perfectly marinated. The pineapple rice is delicious. Their potstickers are perfect! Make it a date and enjoy. Actually with valentine's coming up, it would be the perfect date night 🥰”

“My store. Been going to the Scotts Valley Safeway for 13 years now. Rarely been disappointed. When I have been disappointed, they have never hesitated to rectify the situation. When they have had to rectify a situation, they have never hesitated to make it make it better. Great store with a great staff. This particular store and the people who maintain it not only serve the Scotts Valley community, but also have people coming all the way from the East and West Santa Cruz communities. Interesting thing about that is, both of those communities already have a Safeway store readily available. Those people actually choose to drive to Scotts Valley to shop. One of the managers, Kelly, is an absolute gift from Heaven. Scotts Valley Safeway rocks!!!

“This is one of my favorite branches and has become my morning office. The people are GREAT starting with the manager Grace. Add live music on some weekend mornings and you’ve got all you need!”

“I walked in, but needed to use the App to receive my Bday coupon. I set up the App, ordered my BBQ crustless pizza, then the employee confirmed my order was received. He made sure the order was correct, then he prepped my order. Very quick, and very tasty!”

“The food was very good. My 8 and 14 year old ate until they had their fill. They serve family style so they are big portions for a family of 4-6 to share. We got a rice dish, noodle dish and 2 chicken with vegetables dishes but different flavors. We had to take some home.

Parking: It is behind the restaurant.

Kid-friendliness: The waiter is friendly and patient. The cook is also friendly, especially when my son greeted her. Serve family style dishes.”

“So I'm traveling from out of town and had 2 seniors (one of whom is half deaf), a toddler, and a 6 month old. It was chaos. Shoutout to Connor, who engaged my dad in conversation while I was getting the toddler squared away, and who gave us an excellent recommendation for some local scenery to visit whilst in town. (Shark beach down highway 1 if anyone is interested in some stunning scenery).

The other staff were also friendly (and patient! Thanks!)

The tables were in need of a wipe but I carry baby wipes with me everywhere anyway and my toddler has yet to meet a messy situation he cant make messier.

“We were on our way to Santa Cruz and decided to stop for a late lunch and a beer. We hadn't been there before, so it was nice to try a new place. The wait staff were friendly and had helpful suggestions. I had the Drewsky burger with onion rings and their Holy Ghost lager. They were all delicious - the HG complimented the burger perfectly. This is such a chill, relaxing place. I highly recommend it!”
