“It was my first time, and I got a handful of togo items and was very pleased.
The service was a bit slow but very friendly. The crisp veggie rolls and sauce were delicious, and the yellow curry was fantastic. The Pad-see-ew was a smidge on the dry side for my preference, but the shrimp were good quality, and the broccoli seemed a bit old.
I would eat there again though.
Definitely for the veggie rolls and curry!
Loved the decor too.

“I used Lalita's Hanloh catering service for an event with 100 hungry cyclists & volunteers this past weekend and it was a hit!! We enjoyed flavorful Thai iced tea, which Lalita was so generous to bring both Almond milk & Half/Half for those who didn't drink dairy. Everyone demolished the vegetarian spring rolls, which were cut to smaller pieces so that more people could try it. Her portions were full to the brim so I was very happy because the guests came back in waves and the last group that pedaled in were still able to enjoy hot, delicious food. The big hit was the Laotian Bean thread noodle salad full of hearty mushrooms and tofu. I served mainly vegetarian / GF to accommodate the largest spectrum of dietary constraints. The green chicken curry was amazing as was the Basil fried rice with giant puffy tofu. Lalita was amazing to deal with and really knows her portion sizing (more is better) but I am super happy. She was able to print and make little food labels and ingredient list for each dish so that people didn't have to ask or wonder what they were eating. It was fabulous. Serving spring rolls can be tricky because they like to stick to each other, but she put layers of parchment between each so they were perfect. I will definitely use her services again! The flavor profiles and herbs are authentic and wonderfully presented. Thank you, Lalita!!“

Bruno's Bar and Grill has everything you could possibly want for an evening of celebrating: Bar games to keep people competitive and playful; a dance floor with massive speakers to dance the night away; high top seating for convenient snacking and chatting; plus a super vibey room called The Vault.

Joanne was incredibly helpful and flexible. She kept Bruno's open late for us and offered a delicious catering menu. My guests couldn't eat the Naughty Fries fast enough.

I'm incredibly thankful Bruno's exists. It was the perfect ending to my wedding day.

“Grungy little Taqueria in a strip mall. Great tacos on my visit, Carnitas, Al Pastor and fish. they were all good but my favorite was the Al Pastor. If you order a fish taco you better bring your appetite because they pile it high! The salsa situation was a little confusing and because of that I wasted some. The salsa is in the drinks fridge, the choices on the left are mild and progress to the right, the spiciest (not too spicy) is on the far right and the best in my opinion, kind of a smoky habanero. I would love to try their Carne soup but it's too hot today.“

“Everything. It’s perfect. The redwood sandwich co. That’s what’s on my mind Facebook. There’s a few places in town I will always visit. If you haven’t been here yet, you’re not trying hard enough. You’re hungry, you need a sandwich that feels like a sandwich. You don’t want one of those wimpy limp sandwiches that you find for $5. You know the ones, with the iceberg lettuce and the bread that tastes like nothing. You want a MANS SANDWICH. You’re not walking around on your twinkly toes. You might wear a tutu, but that doesn’t define your food desire. That’s right. You want mouth feel. You want to put it in your mouth and not talk for at least 10 minutes. You want food that makes everything stop and take pause. You’re grown, but this sandwich makes your hands look like a child. You’re ready to eat. And eat you shall. That tri tip sandwich is dripping with goodness. It’s a feast between two slices of bread. The thanksgiving sandwich makes you wish you spent your holiday here. Pair that with their soups that don’t quit, or their Mac and cheese that stops the world, you’re in food coma and all you’ve done is smell it. If you’re lucky, you’ll make it there when they have a pork belly special. It will turn you. You won’t know what hit you. But you’ll spend the month dreaming about that sandwich. You think you took a nap, but really, you closed your eyes to re live the feel of that sandwich in your hands, and no one had to know that you woke up eating your pillow. “Excellent food. We were very impressed. All the vegetables were very fresh and abundant. The Wor Wonton soup was full of nice large chunks of nice vegetables (not overcooked) and meat and wontons, of course. The soup was served in two containers, one for the broth and the other for the meat/wontons/veggies/ but I see that they did this to keep the veggies other stuff from getting over-cooked in the broth during the journey home. They were all absolutely delicious when we got home (the sliced carrots not turned to mush).

The Cantonese Fried rice was full of stuff as well, and not just the usual frozen peas and carrot mix sprinkled into the fried rice. There was tons of fresh egg and pork and chicken, all shredded and not just the usual small cubed chunks. Usually when we get fried rice, there's more rice than other things; that's not the case here. We live in SLV and haven't eaten Chinese food in a long time because we haven't been impressed with the fresh veggies on anything local. We are happy to stumble across this gem of Scott's Valley. “Tim's is a wonderful family-run Chinese restaurant. Mostly geared for take-out; there are two tables inside and a few outside as well. Very quickly, you are a "known" customer: your favorite items on the menu, that is. Combos are very affordable. Constantly rotating supply at the front of the items ordered most-frequently. Made-to-order always available, too. Gracious, generous family who truly know and care about their customers. Chicken with green beans is my favorite. My son loves the shrimp and the chow mein. Recommended!“

“The food was very good. My 8 and 14 year old ate until they had their fill. They serve family style so they are big portions for a family of 4-6 to share. We got a rice dish, noodle dish and 2 chicken with vegetables dishes but different flavors. We had to take some home.

Parking: It is behind the restaurant.

Kid-friendliness: The waiter is friendly and patient. The cook is also friendly, especially when my son greeted her. Serve family style dishes.“
