Glad to be back and by the sea, this crowd is an excellent crowd to be around and this place flocks in some very interesting people.??The pool tournaments are organized and the drinks are to die for. Mixed to perfection and not to mention are well worth the money. The food is worth the money as well. “We came to this restaurant for dinner. we heard about this spot from quite a few people. Well, it was a winning. we were warmly welcomed by the staff and we felt very good. The meal was delicious. We enjoyed every moment and we will visit this place again. Keep it up.“

“Sun light hours, this is a neighborhood bar with 50% of patrons being regulars. Staff knows everyone, and it's very welcoming. Come at night if you want a good drink and a loud dive bar. Pool table, golden tee, and they just added 2 dart boards. Live music a few nights a week. Cheap prices here don't mean cheap drinks.“

“My buddies and I stumbled upon this little bar by chance. We were the only “gringos” there, but we were welcomed as if by old friends. They women who tended bar and served us were gracious hosts. It was very clean and well appointed. We had a blast, bought a shirt, and would recommend to others looking for a cold cerveza.“

“Just went to blondies yesterday! Saturday night around 9:30 pm. It's a nice bar! More standing space than seating. There is outside seating but it was taken up when we arrived there and it didn't seem to free up by the time we left.Age range is millennials, maybe some college students.Music is a bit loud if you are trying to have a conversation, but overall its fun! They got games playing and I think you can have lil birthday gatherings there? There was a small birthday hang out when we were there which was really cute.Overall, good bar, would come back.“
“While I will get personal in this review to a degree, I will also be completely honest. The people you meet at ruby's are a mixed bunch between wonderful and terrible. Though that speaks of the patrons. Among which I have met what might as well be a brother to me, an only child naturally. A father to me, someone raised by a single mother. As well as plenty of friends who care... but also those who'd just take advantage, the good people far outweighed the bad. The ownership is up in the air right now due to a divorce where either potential option has their perks and I'll remain neutral despite saying that the husband's choice in manager needs to learn humility and how to speak to people, an issue many young managers face and must learn in the field when first given a leadership position. As well as the wife's choice could stand to learn when to say no. Regardless though during their personal issue, the staff remains strong and solid. Bartenders who genuinely care enough to personally make sure customers get home safe and sound, as well as give a chance to noble souls amongst the downtrodden, and I speak as someone in love with one and living with one as well.. when alone and broken before, and it was more than one of them, nearly all of them who put in an effort towards helping me through multiple deaths in the family as well as my partner of 10 years leaving me. They are trusting, sometimes too much for their own good, and there is a reason I make the drive from lake Elsinore to anaheim more often than not, and rarely their westminster location still despite the options in between. I have faith in ruby's, it's regulars, and it's staff... no matter who leads it between Cherie and Mike, I know so long as it maintains its spirit, it can and will survive and do well. And I say this as someone with their popularity in reviews based mostly in negative truths. Ruby's sports bar is one of few establishments I place faith and trust in. And if anyone who reads this finds me there, let me know and we'll take a shot on me to Ruby's and the hope and memories it creates!“
“We brought our food truck here on the 4th of July and it was fabulous. The owner Big Tod is the Boss and he's a gracious man. We appreciate this community-oriented dive bar. Change is good, drinks are strong, billiards are fun, and the audio system is tight AF.“

“I both love and loathe gentrification. In the case of this bar, I loathe gentrification, if only for the increased prices in drinks. Staff is great. However, the bar fights used to be entertaining, but those don't happen anymore. That's a bit depressing.“

“This place is a sunset beach staple. Been going here for 25 years - well before it was redone. Our band played there when we got out of high school, and back then it was pretty rowdy. Peanut shells on the ground, the bar was falling apart, and the jukebox had CDs. While I miss the old "Mother's Beer & Wine", they did a nice job restoring it, and you can always count on a cold beer, a friendly bar staff, and cool patrons when you arrive. Peanuts are optional.“
