“I don't live in Santa Rosa any more, I haven't in ~20 years but I grew up there and EVERYONE knows Sam's! I was in town for the holidays and went there for lunch with a friend. The menu is enormous and while I was tempted by the all day breakfast, I landed on a French Dip sandwich that I had been craving. If you are anywhere in the area, stop by, you'll be glad you did!

“This was our first time at this location, and it was very good. We went at 10:45 pm, so it wasn't busy at all. Our waitress, I believe her name was Tammy, was very nice. We got the Spicy rigatoni with Vodka sauce and the Sicilian style pizza Colombo. The noodles were very good with just a small kick of heat. The pizza was huge, like 12 slices, similar to fluffy Detroit-style. with crunchy edges. Tammy said it was big, but we thought it would be half that size. It did heat up nicely in the oven for leftovers. 2 slices would be pretty filling for many people. Overall, we were happy with our meal. The only negative is that you can smell the smoke from the casino a little bit in the restaurant, oh, and if you're someone who is cold, bring a sweatshirt as they keep the casino and restaurant on the cooler side.“

“I called in a pizza to pick up. First time getting a pizza here. They were so helpful and nice on the phone. I wasn't sure what to get. Asked if they have stuffed crust, THEY DO! I got an all-meat stuffed crust and it was ready so fast but cooked perfectly. The girl got my pizza and was super nice and friendly too. The restaurant was nice and clean, everything looked shiny and welcoming. The pizza was so good, lots of toppings, soft melty cheese and they gave me lots of parm and peppers, so I was a happy girl! “This delightful local Watering Hole features a full Suite of available beverages and some of the best pub fare I have ever encountered. Karaoke nights are always fun and the karaoke hosts are some of the best people and though you wouldn't know to look at it from the outside it is a queer friendly establishment and safe space.“

“I recently visited West Coast Sourdough and tried their Grilled Chicken Pesto sandwich with pepper jack cheese and everything on it. The sandwich was delicious--the pesto complemented the grilled chicken perfectly. The sourdough bread was fresh and had that perfect balance of crunch and softness. The only downside was the person at the checkout, who was super quiet and hard to hear.

Sappy, I know, but I can tell you that in all the restaurants that I've been to not one has ever nearly brought me to tears from the first step inside the door. The decor was tasteful, no awful booths, and inviting. The staff courteous. A question asked was answered with a genuine smile, no forced politeness here.
