“Great service. The menu is simple and the quality high. The Burnt ends appetizer is amazing. My wife had them and the potato skin appetizer as a meal. Brisket dinner has a light smoke to perfection. Wished they had a burnt ends dinner. Our friends fried chicken dinner was crispy delicious. The steam boiler fire keeps it cozy with an old time Shaver saw mill feel. Oh, the porter beer is fabulous.“
“The food was good and the portions were more than generous but the price tag was a little much for some basic burgers and fries. It didn't seem like anyone wiped up tables or anything for quite a while. It's hard to enjoy my burger in someone else's drippings, but some dirty tables and the cost are my only complaints. The gals at the window were very nice and I enjoyed every bite.“
