“Such a wonderful vegan oasis in the San Fernando Valley! As locals know vegan offerings in the valley are limited compared with the rest of the city. I am so happy that I found this place I will be coming here often! Great food and atmosphere all around!“

“NYC cheese slices are my jam, and we have an embarrassment of riches in Sherman Oaks. Within a mile of each other, there are three, count 'em three, authentic NY slice shops. My son and I visited all three of them on a self-guided cheese slice tour of Sherman Oaks. Pizza Wagon was stop three on the tour!

The atmosphere is good...NY decor on the walls in what feels like a truly neighborhood / not-chain space. The service was great too...the staff worked quickly and were abundantly friendly and helpful.

They do a good job with authentic style slices...the right amount of crisp on the crust and a good ratio of sauce versus cheese. The chew was good, though both the crust and sauce don't quite have the superior flavor profile of the nearby places.

It's definitely a good alternative to those, though, and miles ahead of the major chain pizzas in terms of NY style.“

“So happy when a Gino's opened up in the LA area! As a Chicago native, I've missed Chicago pizza a ton. Anytime I'm in the valley I swing by Gino's East. Of course, you can get deep dish, but tavern style is standard Chicago pizza in all its cheesy goodness and square-cut slices! Also highly recommend the mozzarella sticks! So crispy and cheesy, especially fresh in person at the restaurant.“

“This newish restaurant is definitely underrated! We came here for my mom's birthday and I'm so glad we did. We all loved it. The food was absolutely amazing Bolognese 5/5 Lobster pasta 4.5/5 Spaghetti carbonara 5/5 Spaghetti with gamberi 4/5 (very spicy) Spaghetti arrabbiata 4/5 Caesar salad 5/5 Wine (Pinot noir & Chianti) 5/5 Pistachio and chocolate cake 5/5 The service was truly special. After a crazy night of delivery service fails, dropped drivers, unreachable Chow Now representatives, more delays, and remade orders, Kevan drove our order over themselves. It was a late Valentine dinner, not what we expected at all, but Pizzana made good on their end of the delivery and the food was great. “I've been a patron and huge fan of Mulberry Street's San Fernando Valley location for decades. As a Brooklyn-born Jersey Girl, there's no question Mulberry's pizza is the real deal -- and then to discover the lasagna pie...hooked for life. :)

When I was given the job of arranging for pizza, salads, knots etc. for our office holiday party, I didn't think twice. The Sherman Oaks location was the closest for delivery and they absolutely delivered, in every sense of the word. The event was earlier today -- I got tons of compliments for the spread, but I gotta give credit where credit's due:

I can't say enough good things about Jose -- kind, professional, a good communicator, with a lovely, mellow vibe that made it fun to seal the deal over a couple of phone calls. From brainstorming quanitities with me to taking the payment over the phone, Jose made everything easy and hiccup-free. Delivery driver Alejandro, who'd already been racing around the valley for hours, was kind and patient while waiting for my coworkers who were tracking down a cart. He did a verbal cross-check as he unloaded all the items -- all there, so on to the party. (Alejandro, forgive me: I had a tip for you in my pocket and found it hours later....I'll make good during a future visit!)

Everything arrived as ordered, looking good and tasting great. It was fun to see people's eyes light up when they saw 'Mulberry Street' on the pizza boxes -- they were in the know! My one ordering mistake was to get only one lasagna pie...I nabbed the last slice, with no apologies, and was in heaven.

“I asked my husband to find a cute + cozy Italian restaurant for Friday night dinner date, and we found what we wanted and more! Low lighting, but not so low you can’t read the menu. Quiet enough to hear conversation, but not awkward-quiet. And the service was top notch, nothing about the spot was pretentious, and the food was tasty. The owner (or maybe maître d’?) Vasak was so sweet and greeted us with a huge smile. He had us come to the back to taste all of the wines because I didn’t know which one I wanted, and he brought tiramisu on the house at the end of our meal. The whole staff was friendly and fast, and they all seemed to know the guests who walked in—big smiles, hugs, handshakes, “see-you-in-a-couple-weeks”. We got bow tie pasta with pink sauce and their house made gnocchi with pesto cream sauce; perfectly al dente and perfectly salted. I’m going to bring all of my friends!“

“I ate here before with my family a few months ago and we enjoyed the meal. I forgot about it, until my husband and I were looking for a different Italian restaurant than the usual ones we go to. I remembered Olivia, so we went on a Saturday night where it was considerably more energetic than before. Everyone was welcoming and we were lucky we made a reservation. The arancini was soooo good. It's very hard to find the quality that we experienced in Italy, but Oliva came very close. The Pasta Norma was delicious. The seafood pasta was also very good. The portions were plentiful and service was on point. This is such a warm and welcoming restaurant. I recommend it and can't wait to return.“

“Pizza Hut is always a solid choice when you’re craving classic pizza with great flavor. I’ve been to this location several times, and the food quality is consistently good. The crust is always baked just right — crispy on the outside and soft on the inside — and the toppings are fresh and generous. Their cheese blend is perfectly melted and has that signature Pizza Hut taste that’s hard to beat. I also like that they keep the store clean and comfortable, whether you’re dining in or waiting for takeout.

The staff here is friendly and welcoming, and they handle orders with care. You can tell they try to get everything right, even when it’s busy. The only downside is that the wait time can be a little long, especially during lunch and dinner rush hours. It’s not terrible, but I’ve had to wait longer than expected a few times, even for a pickup order. That’s really the only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five.“

“Late last night (Monday 12/12/2022) I went to pick up my carry-out order from my local Domino's (4467 Van Nuys Blvd) and my order had accidentally been taken by a delivery driver. This would normally be really upsetting, but the employee I talked to, Leilani, apologized for the situation, and offered to re-make my pizzas right then, and said she would throw in a free order of cinnamon twists to make up for the inconvenience of having to wait. I appreciated her friendly demeanor and willingness to make sure I was taken care of. Leilani turned a negative experience into a positive experience, and I want to thank her!“

“Trattoria del Sole is a genuinely fine Italian dinner experience. I've always known that the way to tell the difference between an average restaurant and a better restaurant is the way they're calamari is cooked and presented. Calamari was perfect. Tender and mild. The arugula salad was quite fresh. The pasta was definitely in-house made. Perfectly served Al Dante with a spicy sauce that made the dish sublime. I will be back.“

“There were 4 of us dining in for a late lunch/ early dinner. It's a very comfortable place with a great menu and awesome desserts. The owner works there and the staff is awesome and friendly. If you want to adjust your selection a bit they are happy to help in any way possible! The portions are good size to share. We love going there and the staff makes it cozy and welcoming. “Visited last week with a group after hearing good things about it through a friend. Their pizza is delicious, good dough/cheese/sauce ratio. We ordered the Chicken Alfredo pizza and Margherita pizza. I also tried their Chicken Marsala and it hit the spot. They also serve espresso drinks, perfect before hitting the road after stuffing ourselves. Would recommend and definitely coming back.“
