In life there are only a couple of locations I eat everyday; my mom’s kitchen, my neighbors kitchen, arthur’s kitchen, tanya’s kithcen, and pokitonik. I find comfort everytime I come here, whether it’s friendly banter with Mary, or Sushi Burritos made by Arpi. I have been to multiple 5 star restaurants in my life, but nothing even compares to this glorious establishment. Where else can you combine the three of the greatest of things in life into one small building, hot cheetos, boba, and teriyaki chicken. Can’t think of one? That’s because you’ve never been to Poki. If there was a 8th wonder of the world, is would be located right here. I used to resent this building because they replaced Yogurtland, but no more. This is the greatest experience of my life.“

“All About Poke was a good Poke bowl experience, in my opinion. I had tried it before at other locations and remembered it being satisfactory for when I had a poke craving, and after a medium (three protein scoops) bowl I was again satisfied. Notably the salmon and tuna tasted quite fishy in some bites, and pineapple was the only standard fruit option besides mandarin orange slices (which I don’t want to try on poke, personally). But overall, they had most of the standard toppings like edamame, crab, cucumber, ginger, etc, their sauces were tasty, and they served a sizable portion of rice, fish and toppings all. All About Poke will hit the spot if you are nearby and need a nice fresh lunch.“

The fresh musubi was actually mind blowing - like... holy crap. Idk how this place is only 4.2, maybe because of the atmosphere? Who cares?! It's obviously a mom and pop - and man, can't emphasis enough the quality of the fish. Everything tastes incredibly fresh, all the flavors are totally on point. When we order spicy its ACTUALLY a little spicy, which is refreshing. They even gave us free miso soup on the house just because!

He had mentioned that the restaurant used to rely a lot more on people who worked nearby before remote jobs started taking over- I highly recommend going IN PERSON to try out this awesome food, and to chat with the lovely owner!

This is the only place we enjoy ordering poke from in the mid city area, as nothing else comes close to this quality, and the price is reasonable too.

“I had both the Grilled Salmon Bowl and the Volcano Shrimp Bowl, and both were absolutely delicious! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked really well. The salmon was especially tasty, and the shrimp had a great flavor with just the right amount of seasoning. The restaurant was very clean, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and I really enjoyed the outdoor seating. Overall, a great experience with delicious food and excellent service. “I’m pretty picky about poke, and 8oz Poke in Studio City never misses. The fish is consistently fresh, the ingredients are high quality, and everything tastes clean and well-balanced. The sauces are a standout—clearly made by someone who really understands flavor.

If you’re not sure what to get: try salmon + tuna over half rice/half greens with avocado, seaweed salad, edamame, masago, crispy onions, and spicy mayo + ponzu. It’s my go-to and it’s been perfect every time.“

“Beautifully designed space and fresh healthy ingredients! As a vegan I appreciate the yummy, healthy (not fried) tofu and all the veggie options! Easy pickup near my gym so will be back for sure on days when I’m too time crunched to cook! Ordered for pick up, it was ready very fast, but stayed to eat at the lovely tables by the windows. You could also sit outside on the nice street tables.“

I really like their bulgogi roll as well but they’re very skimpy on the sauce which is alway a little disappointing (but clearly doesn’t stop me from ordering it again). I tried their shrimp tempura roll tonight and it is fine, nothing special. Not really a sit-down place but the staff is always nice when I pick up my orders.“
