First time I've ever tried dry rice noodle - delicious! The dipping sauce that came with it had a hint of caramel- not too sweet. Try this!

Best part: Eating this with some fries and garlic wings with Peruvian green sauce.

“Absolutely amazing. After a disappoint go at the Mancoras peruivian cuisine on main, I found this place in walking distance. Gave it a shot and the chicken is amazing. The #1 recommendation is have is the #1 Chicken sandwich (white or dark meat) it's by far the best chicken sandwich I've had. Easily blowing Raising Canes and all other chicken sandwich establishments out of the park. The balance between each ingredient was spot on and I could easily devour multiple of these in one sitting due to how good it is. 100% recommend this place.

Side note, for any people planning to eat here. Order ahead of time (sometimes it can take 30+ minutes) and avoid the wraps, go for the chicken on the bun instead. It's vastly superior because the wraps seem to be poorly constructed. The wraps seem to be overflowing with sauce which makes the wrap soft and weak so its, hard to hold let alone eat, without it breaking apart in your hands“

All pizzas come with ONE topping and any additional are what the prices are shown in the menu. Their pizza is pretty thick! It’s not thin crust but still very tasty! Their breading is soft and not chewy/doughy so that’s a plus!

We got the 16” - sausage - pizza - a tiny bit of spice on the pizza! They gave plates + cheese/chili pepper on the side. We could’ve gone a size down! We ate half the pizza only!

Parking: it was easy since I came around 11:30 on a weekday.

Seating: 2 big tables and a few small tables. A lot of take outs!

“The best homemade wood oven fired pizza ever!! We had the best experience from beginning to end for our daughter’s high school graduation party. Each pizza was perfectly cooked and tasted incredibly delicious—I’m still dreaming of the hot honey pizza! Salads and charcuterie board were also fantastic. Our guests were all equally complimentary (and asking for their info). From the planning stage with Evelyn to the execution with 3 great team members on the night of our event, everything ran perfectly. Everyone was incredibly professional, and provided the highest level of service. Belle was also the most amazing bartender ever—I can’t imagine another party without her serving incredible cocktails. The fields for data entry are too small, and you can’t see if you’ve made an entry error. For example when entering my phone number I accidentally hit one wrong number, and didn’t see it until it went to send the confirmation code to the wrong number. I used the back arrow, and was not able to enter a new phone number. I deleted the whole order, reordered, and it pulled up the wrong phone number again. The only way I was able to place an order was to delete the order AGAIN, log out of the website, log back in, and select NO to Use location? Terrible ordering experience that could easily be fixed with a better form design. It’s not rocket science.“

“Stopped by after the farmers market, had their honey something wings and a beer. Wings were crispy and tasteful, however I prefer american style wings over this Korean version. Ambience is balance with good lighting and some k-pop music. Overall its a good spot to hangout after after the farmers market.“

Super Pizza Veloz has clearly been a staple in the South El Monte community for a long time, and it’s easy to see why. I really appreciate that they accept EBT, which makes it much more accessible for families in the area. One thing I did notice though is that their self-service kiosk doesn’t allow EBT payments, so you have to order at the counter instead. It’s not a huge issue, but it does create a little bit of confusion when ordering.
What really stood out to me were the family meal deals. For around $43–$45, you can get two large pizzas, 20–25 wings, and potato wedges, which is honestly a great value for a family. Deals like that make it much easier for families to enjoy a good meal together without spending a fortune.
As for the pizza itself, the pepperoni and sausage pizza was a little on the greasy side, but it was still very flavorful and satisfying.
Overall, it’s a solid local spot with great value for families, and I love supporting businesses that have been part of the community since 1986.“

“Excellent vegetarian pizza! Very attractive presentation with quality ingredients. Crust is on the thinner side, which i like. Very quiet when we were there. They had a couple of tvs with sports playing, no sound. Three two-person tables and three four person tables. Very pleasant service.“

“Been going here for 30 years, the food has not changed one bit and that's a good thing. It is delicious (and now, nostalgic). I do not live in the area anymore but every time I do come back and have a chance, I get their two entree combo with half chow mein half fried rice. My go-to is their orange chicken, pepper beef, jalepeno chicken, mushroom chicken, and their beef broccoli can't go wrong. (The kung pao chicken is best at Fusion Bowl in Eagle Rock, sorry Happy Wok).

They are somehow slow to change against inflation so its still relatively cheap, especially how generous the portions are. Service is quick and efficient. I basically feel guilty if I don't tip them. Ample dining room. Gets packed during meal time hours and line sometimes out the door. Don't change, Happy Wok.
