“I really really wanted to give it five stars. I loved the vibe and most importantly how fresh the seafood was. The way the food was prepared shows that they take pride in doing their job. Our order had octopus and shrimp ceviche, which was full of juicy pieces of each generously served. We also asked if they served chips and guacamole, not on the menu but they happily and quickly made it and served with blue corn chips. For entree, my husband got Baja fish taco and I had spicy octopus and shrimp taco. The tacos were so well stuffed it was impossible to pick them up to eat. Our cup runneth over! LOL trust me, you don't need to order more than one taco. The portions are so generous, and the seafood is fresh and high quality. Service was friendly and speedy. Great people, great little business, I truly recommend everyone go support them. The only thing I take points off is the Baja fish taco was flavorless according to my husband. I didn't try it, but he really didn't like it. My food was excellent minus being over seasoned with salt and proportion of tortilla to meat. But all in all, good restaurant, should try.“

“I love this place! I am on an anti-inflammatory diet and this is one of the few places I can eat. Double bonus - they serve grass fed beef, which is the only beef I can have. Their burgers are one of the best I have ever had. My personal favorite is the California Burger. It is amazing!

“Someone I follow on YouTube recommended this place and mentioned that they have the best tacos in the area. That definitely is true! I ordered the Quesabirria Combo with a Mexican Coke to drink. My food was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent! The tacos have so much meat and the beans and rice are fresh and delicious. I was pleasantly surprised that the food came with all the necessary sides (limes, diced white onions, house made salsa, pickled red onions and cilantro). I would definitely come back and recommend it to anyone interested. P.s. sorry, I was too hungry to take a photo.“

“If I could give 10 stars they would get it! I rarely go online to write a review, and if I do it’s because I had a horrible experience. I wrote a positive review maybe twice in my life here’s my third. Start with the cashier, I really can’t say I ever had anyone serve me with a better attitude than the guy who helped me and I say right by the register and he kept that amazing attitude with all customers. At first I had 3 chicken tacos from the taco Tuesday deal (which I might say isn’t cheap, but quality costs) which were surprisingly good because I don’t love shredded chicken. The chicken was so good I decided to get an asada one as well just to make sure they really are as good as it seems. They crushed it, asada taco came to over 7$ after taxes and it glad to say I’ll be happy to pay that price anytime anywhere to get that same taco!“

“Pretty good ramen and sushi. Our group ordered the tonkotsu black and spicy miso ramen. Both were very flavorful and filling. We also order the salmon bento box and chicken katsu with curry. Both the bento boxes were good, but katsu seemed a little dry. It's better with the curry, but I wouldn't order it again. The sushi was great. We got the baked salmon roll and crunch fire roll. Both were fresh and delicious! I would come back to try the other ramen.“

“Hi. I was there for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I had fish with shrimp (creole on top) . I sat in the bar & the waitress was nice but I asked her if the entry was spicy & she reassured me it was not spicy. Well, it DID have a big kick to it & I could only eat about 1/3 of it because of that. She never came back soon after she served it to ask me how it was or I would have told her it WAS spicy. Your caesar salad was DELICIOUS & I highly recommend it. And your cheesecake with raspberry topping was good too. Had a glass of wine also. Sorry but I won't be back because the entry I ordered was spicy & told it wasn't . That was disappointing.“

Just on the east edge of the circle, the Silver Dollar has been there going back to my cruising days. Up popped this Laguna Cafe, close by where we were staying. From the time we entered the door, it was obvious we picked the right spot! it was cozy, homey, friendly and downright delicious. The clientele were all laughing, enjoying the morning and the atmosphere. We got served by Monja, the proprietor, who wore a shirt with our favorite scripture, John 3:16. As we bowed our heads to pray, she gently joined us in prayer. What a blessing. Needless to say, we will go back when in the area. Highly recommend the food too! Personal recommendations include the prime rib or tomahawk steak champagne brunch or the terrific eggs Benedict. The chicken and waffles also became a fan favorite. The burgers are scrumptious and the fish is phenomenal. The steaks and... okay, everything is worth a try. (Don't forget to try some of their own homemade salsa with the appropriate menu items. They have many other homemade products available so give them a try). Just when you thought it couldn't get better. Matt has an outdoor extension project in progress that will accommodate additional bar, dining and music venue. This is hands down my favorite restaurant in California. “My husband and I came in on a Wednesday around 1pm to avoid the lunch rush. We ordered the original hainan chicken, hat yai chicken, and popcorn chicken. Order came out within 10 minutes. Everything was delicious, definitely enjoyed it best with the KMG sauce and the habanero which had a nice kick. The popcorn chicken was surprisingly very flavorful in the best way. It’s a unique flavor and unlike other popcorn chickens I’ve had. It tasted good with and without the sauce it came with and will definitely be something I’d crave and come back for. 11/10 :)“

My all-time favorite sandwich shop! We returned for the fabulous Breakfast sandwich on ciabatta bread and My Favorite Turkey Sandwich with spicy relish. So divine!! Also the cold Spanish Latte and new Dubai Matcha Latte added such a nice finish. What more can I say? Excellent, friendly staff in a bright cheery location that is freeway close. Check it out!!

What an absolute gem!! The Rosemary Ciabatta bread is utterly delicious; it enveloped my Favorite Turkey sandwich and was a side on the Farmer's Market Kale Salad that I recently ordered. Both were fresh and tasty! The pasta salad, orzo salad and potato salad were all refreshing and light too. Finally, the white chocolate macadamia nut cookie was a true delight.

Be sure to check out this unassuming but nicely renovated and super friendly sandwich shop next time you are in Laguna Hills! You won't be disappointed!“
