I felt drawn to all the reviews people wrote about Tacos El Torazo, and we decided to have an early evening pre-birthday dinner. I am so, so happy we got to go there while we were in Santa Paula. We now know where to go for a wonderful Mexican food when we are in town! Everything we ate was exquisite, and we felt so at home thanks to the friendly and heartfelt service. The food was so good that it was all gone before I remembered to take some pictures of the food..gives us a good excuse to go back there!“

“I have been living near for close to a decade. I don't know how long this taco truck has been here. I do remember when I moved here, there was a teenager k that I found too expensive so I never tried it. Part of the problem is that I knew other places that I'd rather go eat at. Now a days, either said places aren't as good and those that are, are simply too far of a drive.

That is how I ended up coming here for the first time and was I glad I did. The prices arw too bad and their tacos are great. I got tacos of carne asada and chorizo. Both were extremely good and it is hard to find taco trucks with good of these meats.

Don't be afraid to stop by. When I did, there was no one around. Before I knew it, the place got packed. All kinds of people came to eat or apparently ordered ahead.“

The asada here is seriously some of the best around — flavorful, tender, and always cooked perfectly. Their tortas are also amazing and packed with flavor. “My favorite fish taco in all of Ventura and Los Angeles County! There are a lot of other great menu options but I can’t help but order the world famous fish taco every time. They make their own salsas and special sauce, the tacos are large and a great value. They have half price tacos Monday-Thursday from 3-5pm and a happy hour Monday-Friday 3-6pm. The servers are attentive and so awesome, the restaurant is clean and it’s a great atmosphere. The patio is great and there are heaters for the cooler weather as well as a large table with the ability to have a fire.“

“Yes, it's inside the 76 gas station. Yes, it shares space with the Subway. Yes, the food is great! I had an asada breakfast burrito. They give you a base of eggs, hash browns and meat then build the rest in front of you, Subway style. I had them add beans, rice, cheese and green salsa but they have all the essential Mexican toppings if you want them. I'll be going back soon to try everything else as I'm sure it's good.“
