50 Best Caterers near South Gate

“Never again - liars, cheats, etc. dont book them - Dont trust them - they lie! And sadly for elementary students they lie and then last minute cancel but then call back and say they will take job?n?b?b? What is up with that!!! Do NOT bother - untrustworthy and disrespectful. Go with las guajalotas LA sooooo good and lovely humans“

“Having them at Barbell Brigade gym as a pop-up was absolutely phenomenal. Michael was amazing with catering and setting up so many options for everyone to try out, Such a good vibe and good energy to have around looking forward to having them back again soon. Definitely try the Matcha such a clean good taste to it. :)“

“What a gem...hands down the best elotes l've ever had!! The corn man is super nice and super fast at pumping out Elote via cob or bowl. There was probably 20+ people ahead of me with multiple orders but it only took 25 minutes to get through since he's so efficient. It can be so amazingly rich and heavy for some folks but this is what you're coming for! A guilty pleasure ruminating in cheese, mayo and liquid butter and corn. I prefer the bowl over the cob since it's much easier to eat. I also recommend getting two at once so u don't have to wait in line again and it's so cheap. 100% recommend!“

“Excellent presentation of food. Well done. Excellent customer service. Well entertained. The food was outstanding. There is so much to say. They made the Celebration amazing experience. Something that remarkable. Thank you!
My Review is not 5 but tens! Thank you.“

“Simply delicious food. Look forward to visiting again soon! Baklava - to die for!!!“

“Went this afternoon! This establishment is great! Excellent staff friendly and attentive. Had a sampler platter! All the sides were delicious and the fish and chicken non-greasy and fried to order. Amazing selection of cake and also different specials! Can’t wait to come again!“

“Oh my goodness the pizza is very good. They attended an event at Harbor UCLA Med Ctr and saw their truck and had to try it. Definitely will keep them in mind for an event or just to see what part of the area they will be. 🤗💖“

“Critics went above and beyond for my bridal shower! I had a small rooftop gathering of about 20 gals and Kaycie knew exactly how to handle this type of event. From the menu selection to the set-up, it was absolutely stunning and my guests were raving over the avocado toast bar! I really enjoyed working with Kaycie and her energy is amazing! She is very personable, very professional and because of that, I will continue to use Critics for future events.“

“I bin coming here since 2018. Great and clean cuisine Food is so delicious Staff is so friendly !“

“The most incredible catering company ever! I used TGIS for my wedding in Malibu. They were the most professional, organized and responsible company. All of my guests raved about the food, the bartenders were so fun and on it, and the timing was seamless. Jeremy goes out of his way to make you feel calm and taken care of. He is honest, trustworthy and responsible. I can't wait to use them again for any catering needs. I recommend them to everyone!“

“Outside dining was nice and relaxing… the service was quick and customer service was great.“

“I only have GREAT things to say about Olive Wood Pizza! The pizza, pasta and salad were absolutely delicious, they arrived on time for set up (they were early, actually) and their food presentation was perfect! Brooke (admin.) was super easy to work with pre-event day, and then of course the staff handled everything superbly on the day. As an event coordinator who is always looking for great food vendors, Olive Wood Pizza will now be my first phone call..... I am happy to use them time and time again for my events!“

“The fact that I didn’t have to do anything like I did not have to get the flowers they were brought. I did not have to get ice and ice buckets for the wine that was already there. Everything from A-to-Z was taken care of. The table decor was beautiful. Everything was set and ready to go on time. The food was delicious! Everything was so professionally done. I will use him again. That is for sure.“

“My husband and I used Emuna for several of our wedding events, and it was an absolute pleasure to work with John and his team. We had a vision for our welcome party, and John partnered with us on every detail to make it come to life -- it turned out better than we ever imagined! We especially appreciated the willingness to customize to our needs, rather than provide a generic offering. We highly recommend Emuna and will definitely partner with them again in the future!“

“Delicioso en postres y comida #1. Excelente 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍“

“We were so lucky to have found this place! The food is absolutely incredible here, super juicy chicken and perfectly cooked salmon, the rice and veggies are absolutely delicious! It’s an amazing spot with food for an amazing price. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed !“

“I don't even know where to start. Our biggest reservation with having a wedding was initially thinking about how much we'd have to spend upfront. Wedgewood made it simple by breaking it up into payments leading up to the wedding day. Thankfully, we got a headstart and planned 18 months ahead. So the payment plan per se, was much more doable once it was laid out!

From our initial conversation with the venue to the final days leading up to the wedding, Rio Hondo made it so easy for us. The planning was essentially laid out step by step and easy to navigate through the online portal! The reminders were within reason, the checklist was helpful, and the admin staff were accomodating.

We decided to get the third tiered package with the venue. The package came with a day-of wedding coordinator, buffet styled dinner, a DJ and MC, a photobooth, top-shelf and open bar, a floral centerpiece for each of our tables, and a few other things including a smooth planning schedule.

Rio Hondo - thank you for making our wedding experience such a breeze! Laura and I both had so much fun. We really didn't feel like we stressed about anything.

Tamica was our day-of coordinator, Nestor was our banquet captain, and Dustin was our DJ and MC. Tamica, thank you for being so present and attentive to our needs. From bringing us water to helping us fix our appearances as the day went on, and everything else in between. It was a fun experience sharing our plans with you. Thank you for helping us bring them to life! Nestor, you and your kitchen staff did an amazing job with the food and appetizers. We had so many compliments on the food. Many of our guests were happily surprised and satisfied. I keep thinking about the mac and cheese croquettes, the chicken with sherry cream, and the salmon. YUM! Dustin, you rock so much. Laura and I were type-A personalities when it came to the song selections, our grand entrance, the surprises, and the Labubu tosses. Thank you for working with us to make it happen!!

The entire staff at Rio Hondo showed up and showed out for us. Thank you all for making our special day (surprise and actually our 2-year wedding anniversary) so much fun, easy going, and truly unforgettable! For anyone hesitating, JUST DO IT! You won't regret it 🥰“

“I can’t recommend this kbbq experience enough! John is an amazing chef. He showed up to our house with a full kbbq setup and not only was it some the best Korean cuisine I’ve ever had but even took care of the entire cleanup before he left. Would highly recommend! You won’t regret it! Five enthusiastic stars!“

“This is such a great treat for a mid afternoon pick up! I'm able to get in a walk to go there which is an added bonus. The purple rain matcha is my favorite to date but also love the seasonal flavors and creative menu updates! Definitely visit if you're in DT on Tues-Thurs, it's there until 1pm. Oh and free refills if you go back 🙌🏻“

“Thanks again for your services on Saturday! Your chef was fantastic, super helpful, and helped make everything run smoothly. The tacos were excellent, and everyone really enjoyed them. We’ll definitely be reaching out for future events. Thanks again!“

“We hired Pucker Up to do a custom hydration station lounge for our animal-themed baby shower, and Kar, the owner, designed, installed, and delivered an incredible station of lemonades, spa waters, and accutramonts styled to be completely on brand and aligned with our decor. Loved working with her. From consultation calls to sharing a Pinterest board, her final display was the major focal point of the party, and the decor she came up with blew everyone away! Thank you!!“

“The moment the food came out, everyone was smiling.

I’ve been working with Made by Meg Catering over the years for my clients’ events, and they are always such a joy to experience. Not only is the food consistently delicious, but every dish is beautifully presented and thoughtfully executed. You can tell they put as much care into the guest experience as they do into the flavors themselves.

Their team is professional, organized, and wonderful to work with. Everything feels seamless from start to finish, which makes such a difference on an event day.

If you're looking for a catering team that delivers incredible food, beautiful presentation, and exceptional service, Made by Meg is a wonderful choice. Highly recommend!“

“On many occasions I have had the pleasure of enjoying K Michelle's Kitchen Catering! The food is always amazing and the team is the most gracious and hospitable. One of my favorites is the Shrimp Tacos that I can always count on, and don't even make it to the table or the car! Be sure to book K Michelle for your next event. You will thank yourself for it!💜💜💜“

“I celebrated my 60th birthday few weeks ago and I can’t recommended it enough. Great location, beautiful inside, outside area is very clean, plenty of parking and very private. The food was great and believe me you will not be disappointed. The staff was very nice and easy to work with in particular the two ladies that worked with me and help me to put together my party in a short period of time, Roberta and Sandra….Roberta in particular has a good sense when it comes to ideas to decorate… you just need to tell her what theme you want for your party and she make sure that everything goes accordingly to your taste. She listened and within your ideas and her inputs I can guarantee you that everything will come out BEAUTIFUL. My theme was “Havana Night “ and everything came out better than I expected…So if you look for a place to have fun and created memories that will last forever, I would highly recommended this place !!“

“I cannot say enough good things about Basil Pizza Bar. First and foremost, the pizza and all the food was great! I am something of a pizza snob, and this was really wonderful. Pastas, salads, appetizers.....all wonderful. Now for the staff: Landro, Garrett and Giorgio were the best! They set up in our limited space perfectly and it all looked great. They prepared and served the food with style, and interacted with our guests in a friendly and professional way. My guests loved these guys! My goal at a parry is to provide great food and service, and for everyone to leave happy, full, and with great memories. All checked off! Thank you Basil Pizza for making my party a wonderful experience, and special thanks to Landro, Garrett and Giorgio. You were all great and I cannot thank you enough! See you again! John Ryan“

“Good Pizza . Decent beers.“

“Came down from Oregon and landed upon this place. We got the molcajete, the meat was sooo tender, chicken was juicy, and the camarones were huge! I got a quesadilla and even that was bomb! We still talk about this place all the time now that we're back home. Will definitely come back when I get the chance! The service was also really great!“

“I recently stumbled upon your establishment and must say, the name perfectly captures how I felt after trying your food. I ordered fried wings, rice, and vegetables, and each dish was exceptional.

The wings were piping hot, and the aroma that wafted from the box was simply incredible. The blend of spices and flavors was perfect, and I was truly blown away.

The rice was buttery and delicious, and the vegetables were a wonderful complement to the meal.

Thank you for such a delightful dining experience. I will certainly be back for more.“

“Copper Key was an outstanding partner for our event in LA! Their team was responsive, collaborative, and solution-oriented throughout the entire planning process, even as very nuanced event needs evolved leading up to show day.

Execution onsite was seamless. The food presentation was beautiful, the quality was excellent, and the team consistently went above and beyond to ensure both guests and crew had a great experience. Communication was clear, timelines were met, and they approached every challenge with professionalism and a positive attitude. Jules and the entire CK team genuinely cared about making the entire experience for me and my team as easy as possible.

I would gladly work with Copper Key again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a catering partner that combines intentional hospitality with reliable execution.“
