“This company has been so responsive since the very first time I emailed them to request a quote! I cannot tell you what peace of mind that gave me and planning my husband’s birthday party. They are so amazing! Benito arrived early and had the food ready at five minutes before the start time for dinner. He was amazing! He was friendly and greeted all the guests. At the end of the evening he carefully packed up all of the food that was left and brought it inside. All of my guests were super impressed with the food! (The Pastor and Carnitas were my personal favorites). All of the food was excellent and the ingredients tasted fresh. The meat they had was seriously the best meat that I’ve had from a taco stand in a long time. I went with the traditional five meats, and paid extra and got Carnitas and jumbo lime shrimp. The price was great and the quality was even better! I will definitely be using them again anytime I need a catering. This was for my husband‘s birthday party and we had about 45 guests and I had tons of food left over and everybody ate a lot at the party.“

“I usually go for the short ribs (which are phenomenal), but I thought I’d try the grilled garlic shrimp for a slightly healthier option. Unfortunately, like the other review said, it’s pretty nasty. They should call it “slightly battered jarred garlic shrimp” instead. The mac salad is delicious though.“

“During my visits here I have always been greeted/treated with amazing customer service by the girl working the front always very cheerful and helpful! I love this spot! My second time here and I ordered 1lb of the carnitas mix and a menudo. I love carnitas and this spot won my heart it's not easy finding good carnitas so I am happy to say that this is my go to spot. I get the mix which comes with the carnitas, cueritos, and buche packed with so much flavor. Just one bite of these carnitas and it brings a smile to your face! This visit I tried the menudo and it is amazing so much meat and no maíz which I prefer. Leave the Maíz for the pozole lol. Every bite was seasoned just right, and the breading had that satisfying crunch. The sides are all amazing too. The collard greens were cooked low and slow, bursting with savory goodness. “I cannot speak highly enough about Kaycie and her team. We chose them them to cater our wedding and I do not have one single complaint. They were top notch from the beginning. It was a beach venue wedding. I told them my vision and they made it come to life. The decor at my venue was perfect, beachy driftwood and shells. All of the servers they provided were excellent. Bar tender, ice cream server, food service and the actual food. My guest are still raving about the appetizers. Our tables looked so beautiful even the side tables were decorated so cool. The created all the signage and set everything up for me including my "in memoriam" table. Honestly, all we had to do was show up. They did everything and it was gorgeous. “The service was VERY friendly. My server, and several others, greeted me with genuine smiles. Started with Warak Enab Dolma/Sarma (stuffed grape leaves), which were excellent. They are the non-vinegar type which I much prefer, firm with plenty of rich olive oil. Then the Sea Bass entrée. Two full filets traditionally seasoned, a large salad, and potatoes. The tomatoes are perfect! Beautiful tea service. Very quaint atmosphere, friendly staff with genuine smiles, everything well presented. Will definitely be back. They came all the way out to Irvine to set up catering for our Mardi Gras party and gave such an amazing spread that catered to all the different diets we have in the office. Some dishes included: - Fried Hatcherville Catfish - red beans - rice - vegan collard greens - vegan jambalaya - chicken sausage gumbo - cornbread They delivered on time, were super helpful and kind, and made sure the display looked amazing. Everyone couldn't stop raving about the food. I would highly recommend booking them for your next event!“

“Came here alone on a Monday night and every single person working tonight was absolutely amazing. The most warm and friendly service and it was so nice to people watch here and see the staff treat the customers like they were family. It was so sweet. The food was also delicious. I had the presto set and loved the focaccia and soup. The linguine with clams was also yummy and i loved the tiramisu cake. I'm so satisfied and will definitely come back the next time i'm in larchmont. But overall the service was great! They do get a little busy but if you don't mind then this is the perfect spot for you“

It's a perfect spot for a lingering date night. The best part of the night was when Chef Genet herself brought out her famous Dorowat for our party. It's earthy and deeply flavorful, a real treat. The vegetable dishes were my favorites, they all tasted very fresh and bright. A few words of caution, finding parking in the area can be tricky. The space is a little dark and echoy, so guests with vision or hearing problems may struggle.“

Most Hawaiian restaurants are in Soith Bay OC San Diego and Bay Area. Fortunately we are blessed on Los Angeles to have a venue such as this.“

This was the single best experience with a caterer I’ve had in all my party planning years — great food, super collaborative (and helpful) planning, highly tailored and themed menu with tremendous creativity and a BLAST having them serve the party. “Hot high 80's day? A popsicle sounds great!Located across from Mission San Gabriel, Nomad Ice Pops looked to be a refreshing solution on a hot Fall day. Being Dia de los Muertos/Halloween season, Nomad Ice Pops had some popsicles shaped like skulls. After perusing the menu, horchata stood out & compelled a purchase.Horchata ($3.50)-Sabroso! Horchata was one of my favorite drinks, when I didn't care about sugar, calories, good health, diabetes. Heck, I remember I bought a large horchata from a former Albertaco's in Hawaiian Gardens, only to come back in a hour or so & buy another one. For shame! Anyhoo, Nomad Ice Pops' dairy-free horchata popsicle had all the taste & flavors of horchata that I remembered. It was frozen solid, meaning it didn't melt at all on a high 80's day. I ate the whole popsicle one bite at a time, which made things less messy.Service was good. Nomad Ice Pops operates as a takeout window. Parking is via street or at Mission San Gabriel.Nomad Ice Pops cooled me off on a hot day. I enjoyed my horchata popsicle & appreciated how solid it remained while consuming it. Nomad Ice Pops is a great option when looking for a sweet frozen treat.“

Pastas, salads, appetizers.....all wonderful. Now for the staff: Landro, Garrett and Giorgio were the best! They set up in our limited space perfectly and it all looked great. “Emuna Catering went above and beyond... and then they went above and beyond that!!!I'm an Azeri Jew from the former Soviet Union. Not only is our cuisine very specific but our culinary style is vastly different from what catering companies are accustomed to in this country. We redefine what the term "family style" means.On top of a loaded cocktail hour, we were looking for a caterer that could provide 12 cold appetizers to each table, a few hot appetizers, and 5-6 different entrees that would satisfy meat-eaters, pescatarians, and vegetarians alike. And of course, on top of it all, it had to be kosher. I spent many stressful weeks talking to different caterers. None of them took the time to truly understand what I was asking them to do. And none of them could deliver.Enter John. John delivered on every level. We had an abundance of food. Shawarma. Chicken kabob. Shish kabob. Kubideh. Tacos. Avocado egg rolls. Moraccan cigars. And that's just cocktail hour.  The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. We had so much beautiful food waiting for us at our table after the ceremony concluded. I'm tempted to list everything here but it would make this review far too long. Nobody was hungry for one second at any point throughout the night and the food was amazing.There was also a desert room at our wedding that could have doubled as an art installation. The fruit was cut and assorted beautifully across the tables. There were so many different types of pastries. We had a tea station and an espresso station, both of which had a server who showed the most generous hospitality with their spirit. Everyone keeps talking to us about the desert room. My aunt just called me yesterday to rave about the wedding, specifically the food and the deserts. She told me it felt like we were all relaxing with everyone we love in a beautiful home that we created.Meanwhile, the bar at our wedding was outstanding. The bartenders were having fun with our guests. At one point, they brought out a tray of shots to the dance floor with bottles that had VIP sparklers attached. I had no idea they were going to do that. It was a blast. If that's not your thing, I'm sure they would read the room accordingly. But they understood our vibe and added a lot to our celebration.I'm telling you, John didn't deliver, he OVER-delivered.I probably called him 50 times throughout the course of the wedding planning and he always made time for me. My wife and I could not be happier with the decision we made to go with Emuna.THANK YOU JOHN AND EMUNA!!!“

“Oh my, I think I have a new addiction. The green Olive. This little grill, so delicious. Parking is a problem, unless you park in front of another business unit. Greek Grilled and charbroiled Kabobs Chicken,Fillet Migon are my favorite. The portions are squeezed into small styrofoam containers. Not good for the environment! But the food is delicious. Prices are the maximum I pay for street eats. The service? They have a hard working good group, so tip them. No pictures here, because I'm hungry. Only caution, They take on line orders, hopefully you don't get behind a slew of them,or your order may take a little longer, but you can bet it will be worth the wait.“

“We found the venue after attending an anniversary party a few months earlier and really enjoyed our evening. As a result, we selected this venue to host my husband's 55th birthday party. The venue was very helpful with planning and helped create the perfect details for a memorable party. The menu options are plenty and all food was great, all guest enjoyed the variety of dishes and beverages. The venue worked with us so third-party vendors like cake baker, band, DJ, decorations, and photographers had early access to prep. Once the party began the venue staff made our diverse group of guests, many that had not attended this type of banquet feel very comfortable and offered polite service and drinks as needed. The overall experience was amazing. I would highly recommend this place! We will host more parties here in the future, great venue“
