“Wow! Really enjoyed my meal today. Haven’t had anything like this dish in a while, which is the primary reason for the 5 star review. I don’t understand the reference to Boiling Crab on a few other reviews, since this was nothing like Boiling Crab on my opinion.

Ghost kitchen trade craft and meet up was interesting but efficient. I was there early, but they were there before me anyway!

My colossal garlic shrimp dish had great flavors with the fried garlic, chili and lemongrass as standouts without the grease and unrefined chili taste of Boiling Crab. The shrimp were indeed colossal and easy to peel, which is great for a lazy eater like me. I like the option for peeled shrimp, but glad I went for the unpeeled as it added to the experience. Sucking the outside before peeling is part of the process, isn’t it? There was enough sauce that snuck in where the cut is made for easy peeling, so the shrimp still had great flavor which made for two experiences in one for me. Squeezing lemon before and after added some additional depth as well. It also paired well with the garlic rice, which didn’t overpower. I liked the toasted garlic flavors which add flavor and texture without lingering on your breath as long as raw garlic or at least I think my breath was ok after my meal 😛 . Last but not least the cole slaw was very unique and refreshing. I ate it so fast, I can’t recall the key flavor profiles, but it was good. Just wish there was more of it.

Pro tips: order it medium vs original for extra spice/heat! Was perfect. Ask for extra sauce or buy the bottle (assuming it’s the same). I had just enough in my dish, but wonder if dipping my peeled shrimp after sucking off the sauce from the peel would have made it that much better. 🤔“

“What a gem...hands down the best elotes l've ever had!! The corn man is super nice and super fast at pumping out Elote via cob or bowl. There was probably 20+ people ahead of me with multiple orders but it only took 25 minutes to get through since he's so efficient. It can be so amazingly rich and heavy for some folks but this is what you're coming for! A guilty pleasure ruminating in cheese, mayo and liquid butter and corn. I prefer the bowl over the cob since it's much easier to eat. I also recommend getting two at once so u don't have to wait in line again and it's so cheap. 100% recommend!“

“Overall well delivered night. Some of the better attending service. Gulnaz was attending us and made sure we were feed and given plenty of water and soda.
Food was on point hot food was hot and fresh food was fresh. Bartender had some quickist service didn't really stay in line long.

“This company has been so responsive since the very first time I emailed them to request a quote! I cannot tell you what peace of mind that gave me and planning my husband’s birthday party. They are so amazing! Benito arrived early and had the food ready at five minutes before the start time for dinner. He was amazing! He was friendly and greeted all the guests. At the end of the evening he carefully packed up all of the food that was left and brought it inside. All of my guests were super impressed with the food! (The Pastor and Carnitas were my personal favorites). All of the food was excellent and the ingredients tasted fresh. The meat they had was seriously the best meat that I’ve had from a taco stand in a long time. I went with the traditional five meats, and paid extra and got Carnitas and jumbo lime shrimp. The price was great and the quality was even better! I will definitely be using them again anytime I need a catering. This was for my husband‘s birthday party and we had about 45 guests and I had tons of food left over and everybody ate a lot at the party.“

“I don't even know where to start. Our biggest reservation with having a wedding was initially thinking about how much we'd have to spend upfront. Wedgewood made it simple by breaking it up into payments leading up to the wedding day. Thankfully, we got a headstart and planned 18 months ahead. So the payment plan per se, was much more doable once it was laid out!

From our initial conversation with the venue to the final days leading up to the wedding, Rio Hondo made it so easy for us. The planning was essentially laid out step by step and easy to navigate through the online portal! The reminders were within reason, the checklist was helpful, and the admin staff were accomodating.

We decided to get the third tiered package with the venue. The package came with a day-of wedding coordinator, buffet styled dinner, a DJ and MC, a photobooth, top-shelf and open bar, a floral centerpiece for each of our tables, and a few other things including a smooth planning schedule.

Rio Hondo - thank you for making our wedding experience such a breeze! Laura and I both had so much fun. We really didn't feel like we stressed about anything.

Tamica was our day-of coordinator, Nestor was our banquet captain, and Dustin was our DJ and MC. Tamica, thank you for being so present and attentive to our needs. From bringing us water to helping us fix our appearances as the day went on, and everything else in between. It was a fun experience sharing our plans with you. Thank you for helping us bring them to life! Nestor, you and your kitchen staff did an amazing job with the food and appetizers. We had so many compliments on the food. Many of our guests were happily surprised and satisfied. I keep thinking about the mac and cheese croquettes, the chicken with sherry cream, and the salmon. YUM! Dustin, you rock so much. Laura and I were type-A personalities when it came to the song selections, our grand entrance, the surprises, and the Labubu tosses. Thank you for working with us to make it happen!!

The entire staff at Rio Hondo showed up and showed out for us. Thank you all for making our special day (surprise and actually our 2-year wedding anniversary) so much fun, easy going, and truly unforgettable! For anyone hesitating, JUST DO IT! You won't regret it 🥰“

“I can’t recommend this kbbq experience enough! John is an amazing chef. He showed up to our house with a full kbbq setup and not only was it some the best Korean cuisine I’ve ever had but even took care of the entire cleanup before he left. Would highly recommend! “I celebrated my 60th birthday few weeks ago and I can’t recommended it enough. Great location, beautiful inside, outside area is very clean, plenty of parking and very private. The food was great and believe me you will not be disappointed. The staff was very nice and easy to work with in particular the two ladies that worked with me and help me to put together my party in a short period of time, Roberta and Sandra….Roberta in particular has a good sense when it comes to ideas to decorate… you just need to tell her what theme you want for your party and she make sure that everything goes accordingly to your taste. She listened and within your ideas and her inputs I can guarantee you that everything will come out BEAUTIFUL. My theme was “Havana Night “ and everything came out better than I expected…So if you look for a place to have fun and created memories that will last forever, I would highly recommended this place !!“

“Food was delicious and service was fast. They do also offer non spicy/mild for children. A variety of delicious options to choose from. Bulgogi was seasoned very well and nothing was dry. Overall 10/10. Very much looking forward to eating here again.

“Summit will not disappoint!!! I hired Summit for my black tie wedding in Palm Springs. We drove to Orange county for a tasting and we knew they were the company for us right away. The food was delicious and the staff was warm, friendly, and organized! Pam, our event coordinator, was awesome! She was always available for a quick phone call for questions. She even drove out to Palm Springs to check out the venue before our big day to make sure everything went smoothly. SO many of our guests talked about how much they loved the food! Presentation was lovely and price was very reasonable. Everything went perfectly as planned. I would 1000% recommend Summit.“
