“The food is always consistent and what one would expect. Service fluctuates based on the server. One lady was on point, while another asked if there was anything else we would like. Less than 1 second later, I was about to reply and she was already walking away, without even waiting for my response to her question. Additionally, they only honor senior discounts if one has an AARP card. My mom is obviously over 80 years old, way past the borderline senior status, but they would not allow for a senior discount based on their robotic rules. It would obviously and reluctantly have to reflect on their tip.“
“The workers are great. However they try to push you in and out. Can’t even enjoy a conversation with the fam because they check in endlessly and give you the check halfway thru the meal. But this is a dennys standard at any dennys I’ve been to.“
“An interesting cafe location inside a bowling alley, but it gives you that homey island life like you would find in Hawaii. We ordered a bunch of dishes to try and test out the authenticity and I must say they are all legit. Their Misoyaki Butterfish has a nice texture, a bit of sweetness and flavor from Miso and a buttery taste. The Lau Lau (steamed pork wrapped inside Taro leaves) and Kim Chi fried rice with Portuguese sausages are savory and super flavorful to each bite. The Saimin (Hawaiian soft wheat egg noodles with char siu) is exactly how it should taste just like in Hawaii. We got a Loco Moco plate to go and it did not disappoint because the gravy has a nice texture and flavor to it. We will definitely be back in the near future to try other dishes.“

On this lunch visit with my father I had the 62 Thunderbird Burger (with strips of green Ortega chiles), onion rings and a bottomless iced tea. The burger comes partly deconstructed on the plate. The leaf lettuce, tomato and pickles come on the side so that you can add only what you like onto the burger. A very thoughtful touch. My father had the chorizo and egg breakfast plate with beans, rice, tortillas (corn or flour) and a bottomless coffee. All the ingredients are high quality, expertly cooked and generously portioned. I put a little butter and syrup on the pancakes and think next time I would just use a little more butter and no syrup. The pancakes were sweet just by themselves.
