“We went here for our 2nd anniversary, and now I feel this might be our all time favorite in LA! First, thanks to all of the staff who were part of our great evening, starting from giving us seats at a perfect spot, to the ones who handed us congratulatory cards and sparkling wine, each one of you deserve to be praised!

Their cocktail menu is by far the best I've tasted across different bars I, especially due to their Indian take on classic recipes! Sholay for the win!

The restaurant itself was so beautiful, paintings of classic Indian film moments, and each bite of our food was a special take on classic Indian dishes. The taste, portion & quality were exceptional. Kudos to the chef!

“What a fantastic meal. Everything we ordered was packed with bold, vibrant flavors. I particularly loved the presentation of the lamb chops, which arrived standing upright and topped with a beautiful, fresh purple orchid.

“Indian- Italian fusion that’s just a flavor bomb I didn’t know I needed to try.This place is a bit unassuming as it’s a restaurant connected to a Comfort Inn with a crappy parking lot. But the interior was very clean and well decorated. They had a full bar, big screen tvs all round, a very fun and hip ambiance the moment you step inside. (Something I love about dining out is the magic in the food service industry and that magic is definitely here.)

We got the Malai Rigatoni and the Green Tikka Masala Pijja. The first bite of the rigatoni blew my mind- it was so flavorful and so good. It did have a bit of heat like a medium spice, but a very enjoyable spice level. It was creamy, spicy, Smokey and filled with umami. I didn’t care too much for the green tikka pijja; it was a good pizza overall, it just was missing a note for me. I think next time I would just try some more of their pasta options.

Food was tasty and came out quickly, but the biggest show stopper of Pijja Palace was the service. Our waitress Anna Lee was such a sweetheart. She was attentive, caring, and informative. I would come back for her service alone. Not only the delicious food, but, Anna Lee’s service made my dinner experience a very memorable one.“

“I had a great experience at Kasturi. It is not only a dining and takeaway restaurant but also a convenient South Asian grocery store where you can find a wide range of Pakistani, Indian, and Bangladeshi grocery items, halal meat, spices, snacks, and food products.

I visited to buy bread and ended up finding cooked frozen naan, which was exactly what I needed. The store has a good selection of halal and South Asian products all in one place.

The staff were extremely cooperative, humble, and welcoming, making the shopping experience pleasant and comfortable.

If you are looking for halal groceries, halal meat, South Asian food products, or a tasty meal, I highly recommend visiting Kasturi. Excellent customer service, a great variety of products, and a friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended.“

“This is a restaurant that has great hospitality, they gave us a sample of one of their a la carte menu items. The seating is cozy but you can easily have a conversation with your friend or loves one. We split a lamb curry dish. We tried the Mango laasi and it tasted delicious.“

“I’m really pleased and delightfully surprised! As someone who loves Indian cuisine, I was scared to order because of some of the one star reviews, but the food was GREAT! I got the medium chicken tikka masala which wasn’t too spicy so i’d move up spice levels if you like spice. The portions are generous and the chicken was tender, sauce was flavorful. The vegetable samosas were large and perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It comes with complimentary mint chutney and tamarind sauce too, which were so good. There is a BOGO deal on doordash which gives you so much bang for your buck. I highly recommend this place since it’s open late, and i’ll definitely be back!

Pickup was easy, and this location is a ghost kitchen so it’s take out only, but there is an attendant to help if you need it. The location was clean, organized, and has parking.“

I would taste the coconut flavor in the curry and the bhaji was very fresh which made it a great appetizer. To add on, they serve Vegan Mango Lassi which was amazing and fresh! The chicken was tender, the tikka masala sauce was rich and flavorful, and the noodles made for a fun twist on a classic dish. “I am a vegan on Covid lockdown and was craving some kofta for delivery, but all the local Indian restaurants make it with paneer. Finding this restaurant with a vegan menu that delivers was a treasure. Most Indian food is too spicy for me, but here I was able to choose the level of heat from mild, medium or spicy. Other Indian restaurants interpret “mild” as no seasoning at all but my Kofta, Desi Chole, Samosa and Baingan Bhuna were perfectly seasoned to my taste, a wonderful blend of dish individualized curry spices with just enough heat to slightly warm without harm. Also, it was not greasy at all, unlike the local places where the veggies are swimming in oil. I wish the rice dishes were made with brown basmati rice but plain brown rice can be ordered as a side, as it I didn’t have a lot of it cooked in the freezer already. The prices seem a little high for me, so I can’t afford to eat here very often, but will definitely come back as the perfect place to celebrate special occasions once I’m well.“
