“I would give this place 10 stars if i could! Everyone was so genuinely friendly and made our whole family feel welcome ( even the wiggly toddler) We were in the bay area on vacation and our awesome server went full travel guide. He whipped out a map and circled must see parts of town/ landmarks and places be cautious about. The food was yummy, classic diner fare and the ambiance was so fun and sassy. Hands down my favorite place we went on the city!“

“Amazing service and a small, clean atmosphere. The restaurant seats 18 people max, with one table seating 6, 2 tables sitting 4, and 4 single spots to sit facing the window. The patty was slightly disappointing on the “Cheezburger”, but the fries made up for it. Would definitely go again!“

“The 16th street Diner is fire! Worth every bit of 5 stars, and I'll tell you why!
I was out slinging stuff around with Wally the Weasel ..we didn't break anything and nobody had to go to the hospital, but it was time to make our getaway, and we found ourselves right in front of the 16th Street Diner! Well, we went in, and we couldn't decide between a burgers or a sandwiches so I asked the person to surprise us..just make mine bigger!
Man-O-Man were we surprised, the BurgerSandos were 5 ☆☆☆☆☆!“

“At first glance, Joe’s Coffee Shop doesn’t really look like a place you’d immediately walk into — it’s small, simple, and pretty unassuming from the outside. But that’s exactly what makes this family-owned spot so special. Once you step inside, it feels incredibly cozy, welcoming, and authentic.
We ended up having breakfast there twice during our stay because after our first visit, we already knew we wanted to come back the next morning. The food was delicious both times, freshly made, generous, and served with so much warmth and friendliness.
Places like this are what make a trip memorable. If you’re looking for a genuine, cozy breakfast spot in San Francisco, this is definitely one to visit.“

“My girlfriend is having her 20th high school reunion here tomorrow, so we wanted to stop by beforehand to check out the space for her decorations and grab a bite to support the business.
Excellent service. The staff was very friendly and made us feel right at home.
Peter himself greeted us when we walked in.
We ordered the potato skins, a burger (to go), and crepes. Everything was delicious.“

“My favorite diner in San Francisco. One of the best Reuben sandwiches I ever had, and their take on eggs in purgatory ((Shakshuka) is one of my favorite meals in the city. But maybe the best thing going there is the Italian roast coffee. I would walk 2 miles every morning to fill my thermos there“

“5 stars on atmosphere since I ordered to go, but it seemed pretty peaceful and clean.
I'm a pretty no frills guy, and in that respect, the food was on point. Hashbrown were perfectly crispy, bacon was perfectly rendered and great to munch on, and the biscuts and gravy were as awesome as comfort food as I grew up with. The scrambled eggs were not overcooked or dry. I just wish I had some tabasco sauce to eat it with. Kudos for earning me as a returning customer after one trip.“

“I’ve been looking for proper Peking duck in San Francisco for a long time, and Win’s Restaurant absolutely delivers. This place is legit.
The duck is fantastic — expertly prepared, beautifully roasted, crisp skin, tender meat, and done the way it’s supposed to be. No shortcuts, no gimmicks, just excellent execution. Exactly what I was hoping to find.
Service was equally impressive: attentive, friendly, and professional without being intrusive. You can tell they take pride in both the food and the experience.
We also ordered the beef organ soup, which was outstanding — rich, comforting, deeply flavorful, and clearly made with care. Not something you see done well everywhere, and they nailed it.
If you’re serious about Chinese cuisine and have been searching for a place that does things above board, this is it. Couldn’t recommend it more. I’ll absolutely be back.“

“1st time at this Dennys, and have to say very clean and staff was friendly. As far as the food, typical Dennys breakfast. Made fresh and decen portions. Service is a 4 star due to when i got there they had 1 waiter for about 8 tables. So it did take a while to get my order in.“
