“I found this bakery when I was looking for a place to purchase alfajores and I was so happy to have found it! I was greeted as soon as I walked in and my first visit was nothing but a very nice experience. Two young men behind the counter seemed really friendly and helpful. The other customers in the store at the time seemed very happy. I came for alfajores today, but I will definitely go back for more alfajores and other goodies!“

“The burrito was really delicious and packed with fresh, flavorful ingredients. The tortilla was soft and warm, and the filling had a great combination of meat, rice, beans, and toppings. Everything was well-seasoned and cooked perfectly, and the portion was generous and filling. The flavors all came together really well, making every bite satisfying. Overall, it was a great burrito, and I would definitely order it again.“

“Cafe Buenos Aires has some of the best empanadas I’ve had in my life. The empanadas are not greasy and full of flavor. They also have the rare nopales (cactus) flavor, which is complex and well balanced. The staff is super friendly and will heat up your empanadas for a good 5 minutes so they taste hot and fresh. They also have a ton of Renude drinks(chagaccino, collagen latte, hot chocolate). I am so fortunate to have found them and went twice during my weeklong trip in SF. I will definitely be back. Thank you!“

“This place is pure Guatemalan awesomeness! It's just as good if not better than the original. The pan francés And pan dulce are on point, and the breakfast is amazing. If you love Guatemalan and Central American style breakfast this is the place for you. I have to warn you though, parking and seating is tough on the weekends. So be ready to park a few blocks away, and hunt for a good table once you get there.“

“First and foremost, I have to apologize for not having a better photo of my empanada! Our family each bought one before heading to Angel Island and packed them away to enjoy later. As tempting as it was to eat them immediately while they were still warm and filling the air with their amazing aroma, we wanted to save them for a picnic with a view and it ended up being one of the most memorable parts of the day.
Even after cooling down, my mushroom empanada was phenomenal. The pastry was beautifully flaky without being dry, and the filling was packed with flavor while remaining well-balanced and not overly salty. Other members of our group were equally impressed with their choices, including the beef, shrimp, and ham-and-cheese varieties.
If the empanadas were this good after sitting for a while, I can only imagine how incredible they are fresh out of the oven.
Honestly, one was not enough! I'd gladly order a few more the next time I'm in the area.“

“Saw this place on the news and their pan con todo ( Bread with everything, beans,cheese,egg and plantain) looked very delicious that I had to try it out right away. It did not disappoint at all, I will definitely be checking this place out more often for breakfast sandwiches.“

“This little gem is located inside Ferry Building Marketplace. It’s is one of the few places open early in the morning to get food. The woman working was friendly. We had no wait. I ate the Fugazzeta Empanada… it literally melted in my mouth. It was the best empanada I have ever had. The price seemed high for just one, but the taste made it worth it!“

“Go early if you want their specials of the day. We arrived around 3pm and just missed out on their Apple empanadas. I love their beef, chicken or sweet potato empanadas as well as their pastries.“
