“Discovered Burd Chicken rice on the SGV Eats FB page and decided to check it out! My partner and I ordered the special - Classic Burd Rice (dark meat) and the 50/50 drink. It was really good! The rice was so flavorful and chicken was perfectly seasoned. The salad could've included a little more variety. I think it was just shredded cabbage. But that did not take away from the amazing flavors of the dish we got. We also ordered the cajun fries. I liked how they use shoe string fries! For about $20, the portions were generous. Will definitely come back :).“

“Amazing shop, our favorite boba place and we come here weekly. The owner and staff are so friendly and always remember us. Our favorite drink is the Viva Mango it has plum flavoring and Tajin! The perfect salty/sweet flavoring, So good! I also recommend the Coconut Pandan. I always get 50% sweetness but my kids prefer full sweetness. All the drinks are very different, so if you try one that is not your favorite, visit again and try another. They are sure to have something you enjoy and you cannot beat the great customer service.“

“Really good acai bowls, lots of bases and toppings to choose from. The mango base is my personal favorite and with half acai. Good for being a place with pre made bases as usually i like to go to places where they freshly blend the bases. Very tasty and load up the toppings.“

He got them with shrimp and it was nice to see they had a lot of options: beef, chicken, veggies, tofu or plain. The portions were great too!The bulgogi fries were bomb too. “As a Taiwanese person who grew up in boba land, I can tell you that the boba milk tea is pretty good. It's more towards milky end instead of rich tea flavor ones. Their original recipe is not too sweet so there's no point to adjust the sweetness. Or just ask the owner to make his favorite ratio. You should totally give it a try. (I cannot endorse other items as I just tried one product)“

If I just hadn't had a pasta dinner, I would have ordered a Chewy Pandan but I knew that would be too filling so I opted for the Jelly Coco. The Jelly Coco is coconut water based instead of coconut milk so it's more refreshing and lighter. It fruits (coconut, lychee, longan) and fun pandan and basil seed bits. We were there arounf 30 minutes before closing and although there were a few people who ordered ahead of us, we still got our drinks fairly quick. “After our lunch meal at Tofu Bean Koren BBQ in Rowland Heights, we wanted to go have dessert. One of my youngest brother checked the surrounding area and found Coconut Jelly King just a block away. We drove on over to check them out.This was my first time visit. They specialize in coconut jelly with various topping in a jar. They also sell a few other specialty items such as durian crepe, waffle pancake, mango pomelo sago, young coconut, etc. I ended up ordering several different topping flavors... red bean, hazelnut chocolate, mango, taro, swallow nest, black sesame walnut, single coconut jelly. They come in a pretty good size glass jar that can be reused at home for storage. I had to try their durian crepe as I love durian anything LOL. I must have my king of fruits! And I wanted to try the mango pomelo sago.Single coconut jelly was light and not too sweet... it was very good! Mango pomelo sago was okay... mango pieces were not sweet and tapioca was a little firmer than I would have liked. Durian crepe was good, however, the durian was not smooth and custardy.Staff was okay. Interior was cute... it had some interesting wall art. Tables, chairs, and bar stools are available for seating. They have one all gender restroom in the back room. Prices are a tad high depending on the item. But if you haven't tried them, at least try them once. If it's worth it, then do splurge a little. You only live once. Btw, they also have a location in Alhambra if Rowland Heights is not close to you. I'll have to check out that location since I'm out that way most of the time. See you there!“

“Decided to treat myself to a milk tea after a run and looked up local boba shops in the area and came across Moo Tea. I got a regular milk tea with 50% sugar and less ice and it was good! The tea flavor was definitely present but not as strong as other places in the area. If you're a bit more sensitive towards sweetness in your drinks, I would stick with 25% as I found the 50% to be a bit too sweet for me. I came at around 4 PM on a Sunday and the store was empty so the service was undeniably quick. There's a kiosk to order from so you can take your time and look through the menu. Overall, a good experience and would come back!“

“This bagel shop concept is so cool! I'm from NY and love a good bagel spot so this place felt like the perfect local gem. I met the owner Ryan he was super friendly! The speciality drinks sounded so yummy and seem like they're constantly trying new flavors. I want to come back for their ube latte and cereal latte! I noticed they had a pizza bagel and saw they have mini pizza boxes to put those specific menu item in-so clever! I love how the menu looks like a stock exchange board. Definitely worth stopping by and trying anything on their menu. So many options, so many ways to customize it. And there's lots of street parking up front or around the corner.“

Podong is a uniquely Korean inspired boba shop with some of the most interesting drink concoctions. This spot is located in a plaza with a good amount of parking spots and you can find it next to the Gold's gym. Once you walk in, you'll be greeted by a modern nostalgic street style type of interior. They do a great job of juxtaposing nostalgic and retro themes with modern and streetwear ones. As for their drinks, they have such a variety to choose from. Wifey and I opted for the Korean pear slush and the injeolmi slush and both were super refreshing with flavors uniquely Korean. The staff here are awesome and very friendly. We will definitely be back to try their other drinks next time we're in the area!“

“I think the best thing about this place is the design and aesthetic. If you look at the photos, you can tell that it's definitely pleasing to the eye. As for the coconut jelly that they serve, it's not bad, but it could use some improvement. My friend ordered the STRAWBERRY COCONUT JELLY. They use fresh strawberries, but they're the waxy, kind of tasteless ones that the big chain supermarkets carry. I think the owner should consider regularly getting seasonal fruit from one of the nearby farmer's markets. I ordered the WHOLE COCONUT JELLY mainly because of the look of it. Of course, inherently, coconut is a little bland, so I'm curious to find out if the other options - like pineapple, mango or durian - succeed in giving the satisfaction of sweetness and flavor. One other small criticism of this place is that - at least by the time that I went - they hadn't put a trashcan in the dining area. Instead, I had to hand my trash to the person behind the counter. I suggested that they put a trash can somewhere, but they seemed disinterested. So, if you have a tissue or some chewing gum that you want to discard, I guess you have to either get rid of it in the restroom or hand it to staff.“

“We love this boba place! Whenever we're in the Baldwin Park area, we make sure to stop and get out boba and drinks here.My go to drink is the Mango smoothie!!! I love how cold, nice and refreshing it is!!! The strawberry smoothie is my son's favorite and anything matcha are my girls favs!!! Boba Lair has seasonal drinks as well which we'll try just because it's what they're featuring.Everything here is yummy yummy yummy! Come try for yourself.“

Can't even update the STAR reviews if I could I would update them 2 stars I've been coming here since they opened, and at least 2x a week, love their food n service but the prices in last year have gone up by almost $5 each item. That's why I cut back n only go once a month if anything or less. I use to spend at least $60 a week there. Now prices have tripled and just not it anymore. Shouldn't take advantage of price hikes that everyone else is doing like rents, gas, food, etc. Smh“

“Flex protein house is such a hidden gem. I'm so happy I decided to try it out. They have so many options much more than what I thought because I went in for a meal replacement shake, but they have electrolyte drinks. They have pre-workout drinks they have post workout drinks they have during workout drinks they have Meal replacement detox shots they have refreshers they even have protein donuts, which were so delicious.
