“I drank, played pool, and played music. This establishment is very Veteran friendly. They treat Veterans VERY good and honored! I really enjoy hanging out with other Vets. Thank you, "Blue Door" and everyone! Signed: Lt. Robert Carr, Vietnam Veteran.Wheelchair accessibility: I sometimes have to use my walker (similar to a wheelchair) and this establishment has plenty of room to move around. Thank you.“
“I was staying in Costa Mesa for a couple of weeks on business and had the pleasure of visiting Patrick’s Pub. Drew, Andy and all of the bartenders, not only made sure that I got treated like family and a local, they went out of their way to make me feel right at home. If you visit Costa Mesa and don’t stop here for a drink, I promise that you are missing out. I would give this place a 1000% positive rating if I could but will have to settle for the highest 100% on here. Thank you so much Patrick’s Pub staff, you have made every experience I have had there, absolutely amazing.“

“Great local dive bar with live music on the weekends. They pour a stiff cocktail, and the prices are fair. They don't serve food. However, there is a Mexican restaurant next door that offers takeout, or there will sometimes be a food truck that will pop by. My only minor gripe is that it is an Irish bar in name only. They have some Irish decor around the bar, but they don't have Guinness on tap, which is really a shame. It's a decent spot to watch a game, but they could use a few more TVs.“
“This bar reminds me of Cheers the sitcom. I go after work once a week but sometimes not every week. The bar tenders are super friendly and once you get to know them, their like a next door neighbor that you like. They will continue to get my business. They have all day happy hour specials on the board.Parking: Depending on what day and what time of day, parking will be difficult. Weekdays are plenty of parking.“
“I came for a short trip to Southern California and stumbled upon this micro brewery thanks to a Lyft driver !Just like one of the other reviews mentioned- this place is a hidden gem! When my friend and I pulled up to the outside we weren't sure to expect since it's inside an office plaza. We almost thought we had the wrong place. Once we were in however we were greeted by a warm atmosphere and found it to be really down to earth and fun. There are big tables and even board games in the back that you can play while sipping on some great beer.We were helped by Jes (Jessica) and she was awesome! She provided great service, was very down to earth, and she went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. She let us try different beers and her fun and engaging personality that added a great flare to the place!I'd love to come back the next time I'm in the OC area!“

“You will be very surprised that this place has crab legs at the same price and quality of Captain Jacks which is up the street and not easy to get a table at. My order was take out due to some unique circumstances of the evening but I'm so glad I found this secret because it was surprisingly delicious and affordable. You want great crab legs then King Neptune's has you covered!“
“This place is a sunset beach staple. Been going here for 25 years - well before it was redone. Our band played there when we got out of high school, and back then it was pretty rowdy. Peanut shells on the ground, the bar was falling apart, and the jukebox had CDs. While I miss the old "Mother's Beer & Wine", they did a nice job restoring it, and you can always count on a cold beer, a friendly bar staff, and cool patrons when you arrive. Peanuts are optional.“

“This place is down the street from my office and I always see it on the way to work in the mornings. They have a huge sign that says something along the lines of “best burgers in town,” and being a burger person, I accepted the challenge. They were not joking. The burger was not only huge, it was amazing! The burger was juicy and flavorful ?. My mouth is literally watering as I write this. The staff and owner were super friendly and accommodating as well. I’ll definitely be back, but as someone watching her waistline, I’m in trouble, because every bite is worth the extra work I’ll need to put in to keep it.?“
“Nice enough spot. Lots of room although they do try and pack a couple of tables into the corners despite the huge amount of room by the dart boards. Tables are 7 footers and diamond so nice enough. Cloth is in pretty good condition. Drink selection is about average as is pricing although the first drink I got seemed a bit watered down. People are gregarious and not shy. Keep your expectations in check as it is sort of a dive bar but, as they go, a pretty good one.“
“We were in the area and decided to stop for a drink at first it seemed a lil hostile regulars only vibe but after a while we warmed up and got smiles from those in the bar. they have 1 pool table small place but feels cozy. there was 1 bar tender but she handled the small crowd smoothly and everyone was all smiles it was a good time. thank you ! we didn't have food but would try some out next time!“

“We have lived in La Habra for 2 years and this was our little watering hole during that time. The place is great little dive bar. The vibes are always right and Yvette the bartender is always super friendly and welcoming. This really is a place where you can just come drink, chill, unload l, laugh, etc. We are moving out soon and this is the place we will literally miss the most.“
“Cheapest drinks in town. Bartenders have been there for many years. They pour their drinks strong. Yeah it's a dive bar. But with pool tables, dart boards 3 big TVs and a jukebox. It has all the amenities of any other bar except the trendy yuppies and complainers, because they're too cool for a dive bar. It has good drinks. Good people. And good times. Take a trip to the gold brick and you'll be sad you hadn't tried this bar sooner. It has a very cheers kind of vibe.“
“Best bar in Santa Ana, been here three nights in a row. If you‘re into beer, this is your spot in SA. They have a selection of like 15+ draft beers, staff is always friendly and down to have a drink and chat. Also pool and karaoke! The bouncers are super chill and hung out with us all the time. Definitely my go to spot when I‘m in the area.“

“We stopped by for a late breakfast and to watch some Sunday football. There was 4 of us. We had breakfast and lunch. The chila quila's were great, and the nachos was enough to share with 4. Beer was cold. They have plenty of tvs and a pool table. Is small but a great place to stop by. Will definitely be going back.“
“I would have to say going in there. I was a little nervous about some of the reviews that I've read. I loved it me and my girls had such a great time. I didn't feel that the karaoke guy was catering towards the regulars. We really had a great time, I'm planning on going back“
“Heard the bar had reopened so I stopped by on a Thursday night. Bar top was full, but I was able to find a seat. Trish was bartending and was great. Very nice and super attentive. Tap beers were some of the coldest in town. Jukebox was playing great music. Glad to see Ruby's reopened. I'll be back.“
“Relaxed atmosphere, bartenders are awesome. Now offering soft tip Darts on Phoenix dart boards. At LaMirada and Santa Ana. Could not keep track of all the games there were so many going on tonight not complaining love to keep up with all of them. Really love their logo and what they've done with the doors in both bars. Definitely worth a visit“

“Where do I begin. The bartenders, such kind people. The owners, I had the pleasure of meeting them and they were such a pleasure. The atmosphere is great, the artwork on the walls is nice, well lit outside area with TVs and space heaters so you can have a smoke with your drink, and the spacing of the tables from the pool tables. Was perfect And there's pool tables! Not one or two, enough for there to be competitive and friendly games going on at the same time. They're kept in good condition, proper size. And the patrons are always keeping the juke Jams flowing... 5 stars, 11/10 would recommend.“
“To start... I absolutely adored the ambiance in this hole in the wall bar! It's my first time coming in and Eric the bartender was super nice! He definitely knows his stuff behind the bar! I was super happy when I found out that they had some bar food too! I ended up ordering a hot dog, and it was delicious. I would 10/10 recommended stopping in here! :)“

“Ive been to many beer bars in my time and hands down this place i've never encountered such an attentive friendly bartender while surrounded by great patrons alike. Alley or I think her name may be Alicia. Literally the moment your beer is running low its instantly noticed. Her attention to customer needs is above and beyond what you'd expect at a bar like this. Go! You wont be disappointed. Note: I encourage you to challenge the bartender at a pool game. You'll win every, single, time :) Check the place out, it's totally worth going!“
“Surprisingly good coin/dollar-operated diamond pool tables. 4 of them. People seem nice enough and keep to themselves from what I can tell. Staff are friendly and prices are not bad. Place is clean and has decent amount of TVs. Parking is plentiful. I would definitely consider coming to hang out, play pool and watch a football game this fall. Didn't try the food but I'll give it a shot next time.“

“This place is fucking legit. I came here and met some random off hinge and completely got catfished. I did get to enjoy 3 coors lites before I realized I was being bamboozled/hoodwinked by this pretender I met off line. I just closed out and ghosted but definitely a dope spot. Bartender was fire too.“
“A very dark old school Dive Bar! Have moved away but miss the locals there ! I followed my little sister Lisa there many nights over 5 years ago! now she is gone to heaven and I wish I could go back to those times! Drinks are heavy pour and the service always good ! Cool people with a calm vibe“
“I genuinely LOVE this place! Has such a great atmosphere, AMAZING, tasteful drinks, and the BEST mixologist around! Serving up some custom drinks that are to die for! The reopening of it with the Nee/Old owner has made a difference! I highly recommend coming on in and having a few drinks and playing some darts and having one of THE best times here at Ruby's Sports Bar #2 You'll see Sumer as 1 of the mixologist serving you 3 days a week and occasionally 4 days!“

“**Edited to add that if you’re a woman, you should probably come here with a man. Super sad to say that but here we are. I returned again (11:30 PM) and had a drink spilled on me by a man, who then berated *me* about it. I had to give the silent treatment to get him to go away. Felt super unsafe.—I liked this place. Myndee was friendly and accommodating. Didn’t know this was a “bikini bar” omg lol ??. Prob only 4 other ladies in this place. Still, the cocktails were great and cheap and the billiards is only $1 a game. More brightly lit than you’d expect. Bathrooms decent. Will probably return.“
“Really nice place hometown. Feel clean restrooms and the bartenders are amazing. No matter which shift I have went in on the still had really good service and treated like they were really appreciative to have my business. Keep up the good work. Highly recommendedParking: Lots of lots of parking easily accessible“
“Service: came here on a Friday night after medieval times. There were only about 4 or 5 people there so the service was great. Food: NADrinks: the drinks were good, beer was cold and mixed drinks were poured right.Pricing: the pricing here is great. Cheaper than most dives bars that I have been to. Location (int./ext.): this place is located on the Main Street but the parking is in the rear. I don't think there is street parking - which is probably why not many ppl stop in since it's kinda dark from ours as well. Suggestion: is the sign up front said "bar" and "parking in rear" in a bright sign would probably get more people in - im assuming there aren't any of those signs since I didn't see any. But the inside is chill, they have a pool table and a juke box.“
“Been here only a few times and already treated like a regular. Great bartenders (Alena especially!) they’ll even come up to you and take your drink orders when you’re playing pool, and drinks are well priced. The owner is a very nice and chill guy also, no complaints here! They have two pool tables, $1 games.“
“Not too many dives in Brea, so I definitely had to check this place out. It was a good spot for a couple of drinks and to play some tunes on the jukebox. Crowd was a little iffy. The bartender was nice. I may come back again if in the area.“
“The Anarchy Library has been on my list for a long time. It's one of those places that everyone says you should check out. I finally had a chance to go this past Friday. It was so much fun! The DJ played '80s, darkwave, new wave, rock en Español, and 2000s indie hits like "Deceptacon" by Le Tigre and "12:51" by The Strokes. Solid playlist. There is a $5 cash cover on Fridays and Saturdays. Bring cash! Import beers like Stella and Modelo are $6. Anarchy Library has a dive bar feel which I loved. I didn't think it was "dirty," I thought it was unique. It reminds me of the rocker divey bars in Austin, TX. Lots of rock and punk posters on the walls. The dancefloor is small, but it worked. The crowd was really vibing with each other. I would say the age range was about 21-45 or so. You won't feel too old or too young coming here which is amazing. That is a big reason for the 5 stars. This is one of the best crowds I've danced with in a long time. Even though we were strangers, we felt a connection with each other. That's good stuff. Dancing in the post "me too" movement hits different. None of the guys were aggressive or trying to hit on us. I felt they read the room and didn't try to talk to us unless we talked to them first. I could just enjoy catching up with my girlfriends without being bothered. I will be coming back often. I had a great time here!“
“All I have to say is it doesn't matter who's tending bar the girls are the most beautiful creatures on the planet the drinks always are pouring and you're going to have the best time here thank you Joe for having the best bar in town and thank you for my spirit animal is there) loves. I really appreciate you and all your employees and the times that I have there thank you so much come see Mel Erin Jen Ali Brandy and Babs“

“Fun little dive bar. Has a pool table and you can play darts too. Cash only under 20 bucks. Getting there - There is a front entrance on the street that Waze takes you to and also a back entrance that has a small parking lot they maps takes you to.“
“I've been a Belmont Shore resident who has seen this establishment change hands in ownership and my small circle of friends love this place. It's got a New York feel, with food service decent security and easy access to great service. Located of the Naples canal this is a wonderful nights get away from the hustle and bustle of DTLB and around the corner from Seal Beach, Horn Corner @ Bayshore with a score of great restaurants, pizzerias, shopping and knock knack shops off 2nd Ave to the west and well to do shopping to the east at PCH and 2nd. Stop in say hello to everyone enjoy a cocktail or two and grab some great eats wherever you like. This great haunt reminds us all that we can continue to be "Long Beach strong" with a smile with drink in hand !“
“Dive bar a stones throw from my house. I feel like everyone who lives in our area goes here. They don't have food, but there's a little Mexican restaurant next door and they will bring the food over, which is super cool! The girls who bartend are all super nice and know everyone and hustle when it's busy. Pop in and say hi. :)“
“I came to visit the store next door. Decided to walk in. I was greeted with one of if not the most appropriate greeting a dive bar bartender can give you if their goal is to make me a regular. If you are not a dive bar fan... We understand.“
“Fun bar, nice staff. Just a little neighborhood old school cocktail lounge. There are pool tables. Darts and old video games too. We enjoy the Touch Tunes jukebox. There are snacks available but also a fantastic Dominos Pizza in the same lot. You can bring in the food from there. We love this place and lots of parking right in front. Variety of people in the crowd. Not many people under 30. My friend loves it here and so do I. One of the first people that welcomed us here was Forest. Everyone here is awesome and they have sports on several monitors.“
“Love this place, everyone is so welcoming and make it one of the best places to go get some food, watch some games and just chill. All the girls are very beautiful and their vibes are top notch. Even when you’re having a bad day this is the place you want to come to if you want to turn it around. Kari and Shara are some of the best and most down to earth people you’ll ever meet and be around!“

“I love this spot. This is my new go to for the 3 pool tables that are better than most every other bar around(bring your own hand chalk though). The bartenders are all solid. Average priced drinks. Good people, but it does get hopping on busy nights, so just be respectful and your good. There is one bartender though, ummmm, Lisa? Linda? No, its LESLIE!! Fire. Just don't test her, she's got pizzazz. Remember she serves drinks for the entire bar. So be patient.Good music too. I might go back now. Hmmmm,“
“Turcs is a super friendly neighborhood bar. The owner Bob and all of the employees are absolutely Dynamite Jeri, Snow, Jamie and Kyle are all excellent bartenders that will give you friendly service with a smile. “No food except for chips because the cook didn't show up. Beer is cold and drinks are cheap. Pool .75 and darts are confusing maybe $.50 per person. Either way awesome sauce. The jukebox $10 gets you full control for an hour basically. I'm not sure if the holes in the ceiling are bullet related or just errant pool cues? Either way best bar in Buena Park.“
