“Good ingredients, customizable bowls with no extra charge for toppings (other than protein). Presentation is a cup, not a bowl, so a bit different experience than the usual açaí bowl. A little pricey. But left feeling good and replenished on a sunny day!“

“Laveta is a super cute minimalistic cafe located close to echo park lake in Los Angeles. They have their own parking lot, which already is an A+. But since it is a small lot, there is street parking all around. They have really cool inside seating as well as outdoor seating.

They offer coffee, matcha and teas. But let’s not ignore the food they offer, which I highly recommend you try out! I’ve heard the burger is delicious but haven’t tried it because I’m obsessed with their Avacado toast! It’s literally the best Avacado I’ve had! Their coffee is good as well. I’ve had their iced vanilla latte, which you can’t go wrong with. I also enjoyed one of their signature coffee, the laveta.

I went to this other place to try açaí bowls thinking it was going to taste like the blue majik in roots and rye but it was so badddd. So hands down the best blue majik. “What a gem! Passing thru Reseda and HAD to stop to try a delicious spot I had heard about from valley lifer friends. Holy moly this place did not disappoint! So friggin good. Teriyaki was on point, rice done perf, fresh fruit slices, salad was refreshing too. Totally perfect meal. We ate in store but I would not hesitate to do so again. It has a very welcoming vibe inside, fresh juices everywhere. Good friendly staff too, kept checking on us to see if we wanted anything else. Will be back soon.“

“I was driving through town and stumbled upon Uptown Coffee. The vibe was welcoming and the shop was clean. Their espresso was smooth and rich without any bitterness at all. I didn’t get a chance to ask what blend they were using, but the low acidity really made my drink that much more enjoyable. The peach tea was also delicious! I can’t wait to stop in again.“

“Got the acai bowl and chipotle chicken wrap. I really enjoyed both to be honest. The mix of ingredients to acai in the bowl made it mix well and the wrap had the right amount of sauce which, in my experience, seems hard to get right. This place does it right“

“Swung by Oakberry hoping to relive the magic, but the açaí just doesn’t slap like it used to. The texture and flavor felt a little off — not as rich or bold as I remember. Still fresh, just not hitting the same.

But shoutout to the girl working — she was shy but really nice, super polite, and made the whole experience better. Sometimes a good vibe at the counter goes a long way. Service: 10/10. Açaí: room for improvement.“

“My husband is a tennis player, so we love the Courtside Caffe at the Burbank Tennis Center. My fave is the Greek salad. My husband likes the pita pizza and burgers. The seasoning is wonderful. “I'm so happy I had the opportunity to checkout Ubatuba Açaí in the Beverly Grove area, it reminded me of being in Brazil my favorite country to Visit. The staff Gilbert and Elany (not sure if I spelled her name right) were very helpful. And Elany the manager and most of the staff is from Brazil making it feel more authentic when you eat the food. They both helped me decide which empanada and açaí bowl to order as well as the toppings. I ordered the Beyond Philly Empanada and added the chimichurri and hot sauce which made it even more delicious. I also had an açaí bowl with granola, almonds, chia seeds, strawberries, bananas, and almond butter. It was absolutely amazing and made me feel like I was on Ipanema Beach watching the waves. Both items were very filling too, and I can't wait to come back again with my friends. There's metered parking and also seating outside perfect for a sunny day in LA.
