But after some reddit reading and persuasion from my bf, I bought a box of donuts. Quite expensive for donuts personally, but it was totally worth it!! The donuts are so fluffy. The texture is insanely good. The ones with filling are stuffed to the brim. So worth the cost! And the calories! Tried french cruller, glazed, chocolate glazed, raspberry filled, boston cream filled, peanut butter and jelly filled, along with cinnamon sugar. All of them were so amazing and they tasted so fresh!“

“Really unique donuts made from taro root. They are smaller but made fresh to order. One is enough for a sweet treat but if you’re hungry get 2. They have unique flavors like black sesame banana brûlée. Also some cool merch and Hawaiian goods.“

Have ordered a few times since and think I’ve found my favorite donut/breakfast sandwich place in LA. Everything is always super fresh even if I order at 3 in the afternoon. I got two glazed donuts and two chocolate glaze donuts. They charge a credit card fee here but it's not a lot. They also have limited seating area here as well. “My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Normandie for five days recently. We’re not normally donut people but we got coffee and donuts most mornings at Donut King across the street. I liked that their donuts and coffee were very fresh and ready at 6 am and the staff are super friendly. Our favorite donut was the raised twist donut with nut sprinkles!“

You walk in and they greet you even though they are incredibly busy.

Even though they were busy, everything I ordered was exactly correct alinclusing the fresh juice.

They apparently make the Croissants and French Bread themselves which made the sanswhiches fantastic.

So instead of writing a review right away I decided to see if their delivery was as good

There was a hick-up on doordash not allowing orders of things without adding an option. I ordered anyways and let them know.

They actually called and expressed their deepest apologies that I had to deal with that... That is amazing.

I ordered the next day and the problems were fixed.

Each day the food came in as ordered and just as good as picking it up

The Donuts are fantastic, some of the best I have had in the valley.

I live a distance from them, but pay the extra 2.99 long distance fee just to get my morning breakfast from them at least 3 to 4 times a week as well as sanswhiches for later.

“I was in the mood for some donuts last night and I stopped by around 5 pm. Was greeted really warmly and ordered a dozen donuts to go. The entire atmosphere was very comforting and the staff were very kind. The donuts smelled very fragrant and warm. When I got home I had a raspberry jelly donut and I was absolutely blown away. I have NEVER tasted such a perfect donut in my entire donut eating life lol. The donut had a perfect amount of glaze, the raspberry jelly was sweet and tasted fairly real (not artificial) and the donut was super soft and delicious. I highly recommend checking them out.“

“This place makes the most incredible breakfast sandwiches. They're hot. Chocolate and donuts are always fresh. When they make those breakfast sandwiches they make them with their own homemade and incredibly buttery croissants. One of the secret things that are not on the menu that I also recommend is their veggie sandwich comes with fresh avocado, red onions, large red tomatoes, cheese, jalapenos mayonnaise and they're very awesome and homemade secret salad dressing. They also sprinkle on Taiwanese pepper. The staff here is a family-owned business and the husband always gives my dog treats and my dog is super picky and who she likes and she loves him so very much. So for this reason and all the other ones I mentioned this place is truly angel food“

On our way home from some degeneracy and I got a jalapeno ham cheese croissant and some donuts. It was hot and fresh out the kitchen and straight into my mouth I could barely contain myself on the drive home.

Now it's nothing special and but given the context this was the best thing to end that night (morning?) with.
