“This cart is a great example of what I love about the LA food scene: tucked off the boulevard, in front of the municipal parking, is high quality, hand made food at a great price.

Asked for suggestions of what to get and was suggested a mix of Huitlachoche and Chicharron. The blue masa is pressed and cooked to order, cooked with cheese, and then finally cooked with the fillings. A nice addition to the salsa bar is the cotija cheese which went great with my Quesadilla.

The Quesadilla was phenomenal; the Huitlachoche was cooked well and had an almost stewed like texture that was cut by the saltiness and crispness of the Chicharrons. The crisp cheese and fresh tortilla were great as well.

For $9 this was a great lunch, looking forward to coming back again.“

“The wonderful person who attended us was so sweet and just delightful .The hot dogs are good, I mean it's a hot dog so I'm not sure what more people might expect when ordering. Though I do wish there was more seating but I understand the space is limited but the hot stand is worth a stop if you're hungry.

This place has one of the best pastor tacos in LA. Their meats are well seasoned and are not dry. Their salsas have great flavor and heat.

“I was told this place was good by a group of friends. I was invited to a Torta with Carne Asada and was very impressed by the quality. It's very authentic food , flavor packed Mexican food a 2am hits different.

So happy I ran into this walking to Vons. Has a few stools to sit on if you want to eat there. “I stumbled across “nugtown” for late food in the area and was pleasantly surprised! Not only was the food made fresh to order - I literally watched him batter and fry them - the owner was the sweetest human who genuinely cared about his services. He even threw in every sauce (which are bomb btw) so we could try and report back. I brought them home to my boyfriend and he couldn’t stop telling people that we found a new go-to spot! Wishing Nugtown the utmost success!! ?

“I first saw this dude at Gentle Barn in the SCV, and I could not believe this stuff was vegan. We used to keep going because we liked supporting the venue, but also for the dogs! He’s always on point, and the whole vibe is so unique. The names, the decor and all is 1000% one of a kind. “Tried this place for the first time and our group of 5 got 1 cabeza and 1 al pastor tlayuda. Couldve eaten one more I think. It was amazing!! The cabeza was phenomenal. “I feel passionate about this one - people are sleeping on Ricos Tacos Naomi! First of all, the tortillas are made by hand. That’s enough to set this place apart from the tens of other tacos spots using low-quality tortillas. The tortilla should not be an after thought, folks! Second, the meats are delicious. Their al pastor is juicy and well-seasoned. I am a sucker for tripa but I’m always hesitant to order it because some people don’t know how to clean it and cook it. The tripa at Ricos Tacos Naomi is fantastic! You can ask the guy to crisp it up if you want it crunchy, but personally, I like it soft. And third, the toppings (salsas and guacamole) are yummy!“

“I went when it was pretty empty so thankfully there wasn't much of a wait time. You order on a tablet and wait to the side. I got their signature hotdog. It was really good and the sausage in the hotdog is actually a good size. I would go here again, but only if it's empty. The person at the stand who makes the food doesn't really talk, only to announce orders, so I can't say customer service is great, but it's amazing if you have anxiety.“
