“Alors grande surprise. On pensait aller dans un fast food comme d' autre mais en fait non. Le personnel est super gentil, top et bonne ambiance. Et leur hamburger sont vraiment très très bon. Bien cuisinés et produits frais. Pas cher. Je recommande largement ce lieu.“
“This place was on point... I have been following them from Florida.... waiting to come see my son in LA, so I could check them out.... Everything was above my expectations.... the snap of the dogs.... the spice of the hot link.... the chili was really tasty and great add on the dog.... Great job to the staff and even got to meet mom... a beautiful woman with lots of stories and spirt for life.... Thanks for the great visit....Vegetarian options: Lots of Vegan options also.... my son had it and said it was great....“
“Oh man, Wurstküche? This place is legit the heart of the LA food scene if you're all about that sausage game. It's like, you step into this spot, and bam, you're hit with this vibe that's so LA—chill yet totally on-point with its industrial chic look. Think exposed brick, open space, and an energy that says, "Yeah, we know we're cool."Their sausage lineup is off the charts. You've got your classics, sure, but then they hit you with the wild stuff like rattlesnake and rabbit. It's like they're daring you to try something new, and trust me, you wanna take that dare. Every bite is an adventure, and you're there for it, savoring flavors you didn't even know you needed in your life. But yo, it's not just about the food. The beer selection is a whole other level of awesome. We're talking rare finds and local brews that make you proud to call LA home. It's the kind of place where you can chill with a group of friends, knock back a few, and just soak in that SoCal sun (even if you're inside). The crew at Wurstküche? They're the real MVPs. Friendly doesn't even cut it—they're like your foodie guides in this journey of taste. They keep things rolling smoothly, even when the place is packed, which it often is because, duh, it's amazing. So here's the deal: Wurstküche is a slice of what makes LA's food scene so dope. It's about taking risks, mixing the traditional with the totally unexpected, and always, always keeping it cool. If you haven't been, you're missing out. It's a five-star ride in the city of stars, no doubt.“
“Been going here since the 90sKnows My BD and my daughter. When the Owner is there he knows their orders. And still taste Delicious My Favorite Pastrami Burrito With Everything and I tried the tacos Sooooooo Good Also they have Flavored Pickles but the flavor I wanted was out. Overall ❤️❤️❤️???“
“Jeff's Gourmet Sausage Factory is one of the jewels of our neighborhood. The food is delicious, constantly so, and the attendants are always kind and outgoing. Portions are large without encouraging gluttony- which is seriously possible given how good the food is! Substitutions are welcomed. When you think Jeff's, think delicious.“
“A burger restaurant with a very unique appearance. It looks like it was renovated from an abandoned train carriage. The burgers are juicy and delicious. I was afraid that the hot sauce would be too spicy and asked the clerk about the spiciness. The clerk took a spoonful of it and let me try it. He was very kind and had a seat inside. Pretty clean“
“The best fast food I have had. EVER.It's the original structure from all of those tv shows & movies and it is now at The Doors 1970 workshop. LA Woman album was recorded at this location. Jim Morrison recorded vocals in the bathroom! Very cool ?“
“Man! Larry’s is always consistently delicious. Love everything about this classic Burbank/Valley local. The Chili Cheeseburger combo is my usual go to. Big juicy burger, fluffy bun, just the right amount of savory chili, along with some tangy pickles to top off the flavor mix. Not complicated, just delicious. To seal the deal, Larry’s has the absolute best French fries around. Thicker cut but crispy, I don’t know anyone else that pulls this combo off so well. Great every time! It doesn’t hurt that Larry’s has that old school classic vibe and great ownership as well. I should have posted some pics but the truth is I couldn’t wait to eat it. Highly recommended!“
“When you see a 60 year old hole in the wall, walk up burger stand, you stop and get out of your car, and you eat one. This is mandatory. Make sure to bring cash or you're going to need to run to the shell next door and hit the ATM (if it's working). The pastrami burger is awesome and the OG behind the counter is a friendly guy.Parking: There is 2, maybe 3 spaces behind the building. Good luck. Otherwise you need to pay the meter on the street or find a spot in the neighborhood.“
“Food was hot and fresh. Service was great and friendly. Hot was definitely spicy. Lemon Pepper wings tasted like a cheap dry rub. Okay wing but it was missing that freshness from a saucy wing vs. dry rub. Nonetheless it was all a great value.“
“Got a Jalapeno Cheddar Chicken, Original (White) with Potato & sugar, plus a Churro Donut & a soda. Let me start with the donut because it was really good. It was chewy inside and not overly sweet like most donuts, the fine grain sugar on top was absolutely delicious. The hot dog was really good too. Very interesting mix of flavors, I normally don't like sugar on meat but they balance it out pretty well to where it's just a little hint of it. Everything was cooked really well nice and hot, savory with a hint of sweet Small place located in the 2 floor plaza, with extra parking downstairs. Service was ok, it was quiet when i went. It's pretty affordable for the portions. Located in a 2 floor plaza with underground parking“
“Seemed to be a must do while in L.A., so we did it. There is limited parking, so either know you're a lucky person before going, or park somewhere else and walk. Worth it either way. The dogs are very tasty and the service was excellent. Really enjoyed looking at all the celeb pictures on the wall while waiting. The menus make great souvenirs as well.“
“My visit to 88 Hotdog was an unexpectedly delightful culinary adventure, especially for someone with a penchant for creatively crafted fast food. Nestled in a bustling, crowded area where parking can be a bit of a treasure hunt, this gem stands out for its unique offerings and commendable service.Starting with the mozzarella corn dog, it was a standout in both size and flavor, offering great value for its price. The corn dog was perfectly crispy on the outside, with a gooey, stretchy mozzarella center that was both satisfying and indulgent. It’s the kind of treat that brings a smile to your face with each bite, blending the nostalgic essence of a classic corn dog with a cheesy twist that elevates it to a whole new level. The adventure didn't stop there; the yogurt drinks were a revelation in their own right. I indulged in a variety of flavors - peach, mango, blueberry, and pineapple - each one more refreshing and flavorful than the last. These drinks had a perfect balance of sweetness and tartness, with the fruit flavors shining through beautifully. They were not just good; they were exceptional, adding a refreshing contrast to the savory richness of the corn dog.The service at 88 Hotdog deserves a special mention. Despite the crowded location, the employee was friendly, efficient, and quick to serve, making the overall experience even more pleasant. It's always a breath of fresh air to encounter service that is both warm and competent, especially in fast-paced environments. While the parking situation and crowded surroundings might deter some, the culinary delights and the cheerful service at 88 Hotdog make it well worth the effort. It's a small price to pay for the joy of biting into a delicious mozzarella corn dog and sipping on exquisitely flavored yogurt drinks. For anyone in the area or those willing to brave the parking challenge, 88 Hotdog is a must-visit spot that promises a satisfying and tasty experience.“
“This is by far my favorite hot dog place in California. We were recently in Los Angeles for a vacation and we tried Vegetarian hot dog along with the dirty corn and fries and it was amazing. The restaurant itself is pretty unique with graffitis and people have written notes and signed on a 1$ note and those are all pasted on the wall. Its a different experience and if you are vegetarian, they will also make meat free hot dog which me and my wife we both tried and loved it. Overall very happy with the service and the food. Definitely visiting this next time when we are in Los Angeles area.“
“Any time I'm in Sun Valley I'm going to this gem of a place. I like to join the boys after work on a Friday, but today happened to be a Thursday. The owner is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. I totally recommend Hound Dog !!!!!“
“Had a great hot dog here tonight with friends. Totally hit the spot. Very clean setup and nicely priced. Nothing fancy. I also love his big dog (German shepherd?) who chills in the corner and greets people. Dude who runs the stand is very cool. Worth stopping by after hitting the clubs.“
“The radish was fresh, yet the rice cakes were somehow bland, and the fried chickens lacked some taste. Although all that food was good, that made me like it. Despite the slow service, I didn't know what took that long to wait for that food. Whatever, that might be a weak point. The restaurant was nice to visit.“
“Was getting out of planet fitness and was super super hungry. Couldn't wait till I get home since it's about an hour away. So came here to see the menu. I was more intrigued with the $7 hotdogs, so I wanted to try it. I also added Avocado since I am obsessed with Avocado. It was AMAZING!!!!! It was love in first taste lol. I had also ordered one chorizo taco with red sauce and it was the bomb!!!Hotdog (1st photo) and Chorizo taco (2nd photo)“
“On a beautiful day or night walking down the Santa Monica pier, what more could you ask for than enjoying an equally beautiful and mouth-watering JAPADOG? Unparalleled taste, impeccable service, and wonderful atmosphere! If you’re in the area I would DEFINITELY recommend checking this place out and treat yourself to a special hotdog. I got the #5 Wagyu Beef Terimayo and it was absolutely delicious, 100% recommend.Kid-friendliness: Great staff working there creating a kid-friendly atmosphere! You can see them make the hotdogs right there in front of you too so it may make the experience even more special for them.Wheelchair accessibility: On the pier, easy to access“
“I went there for the history that this joint have in late '80, early '90 and punk rock scene. I found a great place. It is a joint yes but with one of the best price/quality ratio that I have found in all the world.I had the original dog and it was amazing. It was fun and welcoming. I hope to return someday soon.“
“I order from here constantly! The food scene here in LA is often underwhelming. Being from Chicago, I can attest to the fact that Juicy Js SLAPPPPPPPPPPPPPPS! I have tasted just about everything, it's all so delicious and reminds me of home. My favorites are definitely the Maxwell style polish, turkey burger and pizza puff. Always fresh, always hot!Y'all better get some of these eats!!!“
“Mochinut delights with its cleverly rotating menu and the fun of eating donut "bites" that make a dozen seem like just a few. The donuts themselves are a perfect mix of chewy, subtly sweet, and not at all greasy. While the corn dogs might be a bit too oily for some, it's likely just the Korean-style preparation. Be mindful of the limited parking in the K-town plaza, especially during busy times. A great spot for a treat, if you navigate the parking challenge.“
“Food was amazing. We got the buffalo chicken burger and chicken tenders. The food was super super good. We placed the order through Uber eats so don't know what the place inside looks like and also not sure about the service. But as far as the food goes, it was excellent. Also, it's KOSHER :)“
“Found this spot on the map, tried it out and it was a hit from the start! Lots of options, everything is cooked on spot, handmade tortillas. The aqua frescas are delicious, the food even better! 20/10 recommend! They are all very nice here as well. New lunch spot.“
“Step into 1946 here, where the owners care, and the food is handmade and delicious. Not the fastest food, but when did that become a priority, anyway? Thoughts like this pop into your head as you ponder the menu and soak in the horseshoe-bar ambience. Then, the food arrives and you are in heaven.Kid-friendliness: Great for kids. Fun to sit at the "bar," and plenty of options like hot dogs, fries, etc. and the pies and shakes....“
“Beast Hot Dog deal in town. Parking is ample because it shares the Home Depot parking lot. If you shop at Home Depot, stop here for a dollar on the way is the best deal in town. They have their own tent in the parking lot.Hotdogs are hot, chips and sodas bailable. Services quick friendly, and pleasant. Definitely the place to come if you're shopping at Home Depot and get a quick bite. Will recommended, we will return.“
“This is a long overdue review actually - I can back when it first opened and when even the name was different. It was the first korean corndog place to open in LA so hype was definitely there. My girlfriend and I finally made the trip to K-Town to visit this place and there was a bit of a line. But once you're in, getting your food isn't too bad. They have it made to order too so you will have to wait a bit always - but you get it while it's fresh! Selection is fair - we got a classic and one with cheese. Both were good and I highly recommend to get it with sugar because that's what makes it special. my girlfriend prefers the breading on the Korean corndogs because it's not as thick and bready as American ones. The sauce options are pretty decent, but the go to for me is always just ketchup & mustard. Overall it's a good staple, but I don't see this specific spot as a huge wow factor in terms of taste.“
“I was welcomed with a smile, Kyle was very polite and helpful. I chose Thai Tea and a 3 pack mochinut caramel apple Jack, crispy chocolate and passion fruit. There's no wrong choice! Thanks Kyle for the wonderful service, the Thai Tea was made Perfect! Just like I like it.“
“I grew to love this place in Pasadena (if its the same establishment). But then a 2nd time in Long Beach (definitely the same establishment). There are so many great options. I was super excited to find this place in Hollywood.Vegetarian options: Impossible optionsWheelchair accessibility: Sidewalk ramps up to door. Dining room is flat (no steps anywhere inside)“
“Been stopping in here for a few years. It is inside the Greenland Market. The owner is wonderful & has a fun, infectious energy... but actually everyone else who works here is always very nice as well.Never had anything bad from here. The drinks, chicken, chips, dogs, rice cakes, everything has been yummy (never tried the sandwiches but judging from my experiences here, i would assume they're just as good). Doesn't take too long to get your food, but as everything is made fresh, it might be 5-15 minutes depending on what you order. Smart to put in an order first, then do some grocery shopping as you wait ?You can't go wrong with a yuzu slushie, some rice cakes and a half-n-half noodle dog. I sprinkle a sugar packet on my noodle dog - I'd highly recommend trying that if you haven't! ❤️Parking: Plenty of free parking at Greenland market.... but just beware of snatch thieves. Lol“
“Fantastic, delicious hot dogs and sausages! The “Chili the Kid" Haus dog and "T-Mex" and "Old Town" Haus sausages were my favorites. This was one of our favorite places to eat in Burbank. The team is friendly and the restaurant is all-around great! If you are exploring Burbank, have just taken the Warner Bros. Studio Tour, or are simply looking for an excellent spot to share a meal and beers with friends, Dog Haus is a terrific choice.“
“Forget In-n-Out! A-1 is the best burger I've ever had. No Thousand Island dressing, just real mayo, ketchup, pickles, and diced onions. Plus the prices are great. The only negative factor is the atmosphere. Often, there are individuals trying to peddle money from the long line of customers.“
“For those looking for a fancy LA brunch, keep on walking past Headliners. But if you're in the mood for old school style diner food, step on in. I opted for 3 eggs over easy, hash browns, toast, sausage and a cup of coffee. The hash browns stole the show but everything on the plate was solid. And to boot - Headliners was clean and well taken care of care of. I'll be back next time I'm in the area.“
“Great spot downtown for some boba drinks or donuts! They have really cool donut flavors here. Store is pretty small just a few tables. I liked the ube drink with boba. The boba tasted a little weird kind of chalky. My drink came with boba which was nice.“
“The frame stand has the best vegan hotdogs. We've been vegan over four years so we've tried them all. This is by far the best. We got to try them at the gentle barn. Our meat eating family member who came along said she enjoyed it and it tasted good. Will definitely be getting one next time we come out! Worth the price!“
“AN INSTITUTION the best carne asada burrito you'll ever have. you know why? NO RICE. rice doesn't belong in a burrito.someone complained about the price. having grown up here and lived through all the gentrification and seen all the displacement of generations of families and businesses in favor of bougie trends that aren't worth a damn, i'm the FIRST person to complain about the outrageous prices of things around la. but yuca's is legit and they keep their prices low especially considering the quality and quantity of the food. i grew up walking to yucas and compared to the yuppie wannabe mexican places (ahem homestate), this is where you get your money's worth.one day i will try the cheeseburger. it was my high school boyfriend's favorite and now he has his own restaurant that regularly has a 3 hour wait (hint: spicy chicken sandwiches). people rave about it, and it regularly makes top ten burgers in la lists. but i just can't stop ordering the carne asada burrito. or the cochinita pibil tacos.anyway. i'm getting a burrito right now!viva yuca's!!“
“Fun donuts ! I got a bunch of different ones, my favorite was this s’mores one I think. They are different and have a fried dough consistency like something you would get at the state fair rather than a traditional donut. The employees were nice. They have lots of other food and drink too but definitely try one of these donuts.“
“Much wow! Great taste! Very haste!Stopped into this location for a quick morning snack, and I must say, I am blown away! The employees were friendly, the environment was clean and welcoming, and the food. The food is beyond words; it was prepared quickly, but it was also super fresh and hot! The flavor of the chili is great, has that kick, but not too much; it'll appeal to most tastes, but the flavor really seems to pop when it's super fresh, and it was so hot I felt a warming sensation as I swallowed every morsel, giving this warm fuzzy feeling in my tummy ?Choosing to snack here has been the best decision of the day, and I am confident the good vibes, and energy the food has provided will last throughout, making today the best day! Go live it! With ❤️!“
“A relic to visit if you are in Studio City. Up there in status like Mel's Diner or Bob's Big Boy this little burger shop situated in a decomissioned train car has great food and an awesome setting to enioy it in. I have come here since I was a kid, I have seen alot change in the area and it is still around after all this time. They have got it down and I hope they will be around for my kids to experience!“
