“Great view of the waterfront from the outdoor patio. Best Mexican food in Solano County! Let me start with the salsa bar. I think I counted 8 different delicious variations. They serve the chips with salsa and refried beans!!!! Nice tasty touch!
We tried the Keto Taco, Asada Taco, Quesabirria Taco, Carnitas and beans and rice. Every bite was AMAZING! I can't rave enough. Please go taste the fluffiest rice and juicy carnitas. You will not be disappointed! GO!“

“Not bad at all. I've always noticed this restaurant but never went in till recently. One thing about the food industry is to never judge a restaurant by its location. The price was very decent and the food was fresh and delicious. Inside was clean and full of color. A good selection of beer, too. One thing I would add is they should mount a TV in the eating area when you first enter. Either than that I highly recommend this spot.“

“I’ve been a longtime fan of California Burrito in Fairfield. Between 2021–2023, when I worked for Apria Healthcare in Fairfield, this was my go-to lunch spot. My order was always the carne asada super burrito, and it never disappointed. I even bragged about this place whenever Fairfield came up in conversation.

After moving to work in Sacramento, I tried the other California Burrito locations but none of them came close to the quality of the Fairfield spot.

Recently, since I’m working back in Fairfield, I was excited to return. Unfortunately, my last visits left me a little disappointed:
• On my first trip back (last week, during the day), the burrito was much smaller and didn’t have the same flavor I remembered.
• On my second trip (this time at night), the burrito was bigger and tastier, closer to what I remembered, but still not quite the same.

It feels like the chefs or cooks have changed, and the consistency isn’t what it used to be. That said, this restaurant is still one of my favorite spots in Fairfield, and I’ll continue to come back. I truly hope the team reads this and brings back the perfection that made them stand out from 2021–2023.“
