“My son (47) and I (78) went there today. It recently opened.No one there except an Indian woman and man. It is their place. Nothing is prepared until you order. The fish is very hot when delivered to your table. The fries are great and properly salted. The onion rings were a disappointment. The cold slaw was just cabbage with mayo. The portions are adequate. Soft drinks in a can. We like to go to small, family restaurants. We will not be going back to this one.“

“I ordered a piece of fish they use cod. The fish was very fresh. Big pieces of fish. Perfect amount of breading to fish ratio. Flaky and crispy 👌 also got the hush puppies which were ok. But fish is definitely great and im comming back for sure. Also 15 dollars for huge piece of fish, fries and 8 hush-puppies is a pretty good deal in my book. The owner/lady at front is very nice as well.“

“I'm visiting Vacaville from the San Francisco Bay Area, and I try a lot of food spots. Nashville Kitchen was a great addition to my list! The sandwich was filling and flavorful, and the tater tots were perfectly crispy, just how I like them! The chicken was fresh and had a delicious taste, and the sauce was perfectly portioned. I'd definitely recommend this place if you're in the area.“

“Good food for a great price. Just don't ever call less than 30 minutes before they close or they will put you on hold and never come back to the phone. it's happened to me 3x now. I called 20 minutes before they closed to order some spamasubi and was put on hold and order was never placed. Guess I will be going back to the other Hawaiin resturant.“

“An Absolute Hidden Gem – A Must-Visit!

La Costa Azul is hands down one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had—and that’s saying something. Tucked away just off the freeway, it’s easy to miss, but do not pass it by. It’s a short detour that rewards you with an unforgettable meal and genuinely warm hospitality.

From the moment we stepped in, we were welcomed like family. Although we weren’t familiar with the menu at first and felt a bit out of place, the incredibly friendly staff went out of their way to guide us through it, with enthusiasm and kindness. Their love for the food they serve is obvious—and it’s infectious.

And the food? Wow. Every dish came out with beautiful presentation and portions that were as generous as they were delicious. The flavors were bold, authentic, and full of heart. We’re still talking about every bite!

Now, let’s talk about that michelada mixer—absolutely the best I’ve ever had. It’s no wonder it’s award-winning. We couldn’t leave without grabbing two bottles to take home so we could relive the experience just a little longer.

The staff even checked in during the meal, and their faces lit up with pride when we raved about how incredible everything was. That genuine joy and hospitality made our visit even more special.

I'm glad that Poke Ichii is still up because I personally think their food quality is much better than Okashi (which is on the other side of Nut Tree). Unlike Okashi's regular / half bowls, Ichii give you more protein for their regular, and more food portions in general. I was also able to taste the individual flavors, and the octopus was prepared well. In Okashi, their octopus tends to just feel and taste like rubber, while Ichii's was more firm and actually tasted like cold octopus. My only issue is that their spicy tuna and mayo weren't spicy at all, but that didn't detract from the overall quality of the food.

Sorry Okashi, but I think I'll be going to Ichii from now on!

This is our go to spot for Chinese food. I am in love with their fried wontons! I may need to go back soon! Also, the moo shu pork is very tasty. Wor wonton soup is savory and the soup is not overly salty and you can taste each ingredient.“

“I ordered the Asada burrito size medium and a chicken burrito size medium the total was $30 so i was shocked a little but they burrito is very large and filling. I wish there was more meat inside it was mainly rice and other toppings i feel they could’ve been a bit more generous with the protein. Service was great and food came out fast and was hot. Refried beans they use in the burrito are seasoned well too. Overall a good burrito but for the price I’d expect a little more meat.“

“This place would honestly be 5 stars if they would give you your soup when getting a special for takeout. It's wierd not to and the cost of the regular soups are $10 making the lunch and dinner specials have less value with ordering takeout. I've said this before good food made fresh to order. Hope they fix the soup thing, I enjoy soup but don't have time to sit in, also soup is never worth $10 maybe have a small option or a add on option. ?‍♂️“
