“Just went here for the first time today. Ordered ham, cheese, and jalapenos croissants for my husband and me, and donuts for my son. The owners are very friendly, and the croissants were absolutely delicious - and HUGE! My son is still asleep so i don't have his review of the donuts yet but I'm sure they'll be fantastic. The owners even threw in a few donut holes for us - and they were great!“

“I am writing this review at 2:30 am after feeding my baby lol I don't want to forget to write this review because the donuts and service were that good. Was craving donuts and driving around for a while trying to find a decent clean donut spot around San Fernando/ Pacoima. The gentleman that helped us in the front was so friendly and inviting. The donuts were fluffy and delicious. It's rare when a donut shop leaves an impression but this one was it. Friendly service, delicious donuts and clean place.“

“Happened across this during a walk in the area. Ordered a crumb donut and it was great. They were about to close so they threw in an extra donut which really wasn't necessary but good to know they aren't wasteful. The taste and friendliness matches the Mr. Goods in Pasadena. Not sure if they are the same owners.“
“For years, my family and I have been regulars at this charming donut shop, a tradition dating back to the early 2000s. As a family-owned establishment that operates on a cash-only basis, it holds a special place in our hearts. The memories forged here are unforgettable, with each visit offering a delightful sensory experience. From the tantalizing aroma that greets us upon entry to the delectable smoothies, ham and cheese sandwiches, and irresistible donut holes, every aspect of this shop is a testament to its excellence. The freshly made donuts are a particular favorite, disappearing quickly due to their immense popularity. What truly sets this place apart, however, is the warm hospitality extended by the owners, who treat every customer like family. They not only remember our orders but also cater to our individual preferences, creating a welcoming atmosphere that keeps us coming back time and time again. Even my child has developed a fondness for this spot, often requesting a visit with the simple phrase, "Let's go to the donut shop." It's more than just a place to indulge in delicious treats; it's a cherished tradition that we adore wholeheartedly.“
“This Denny's is nearby my workplace. They always provide friendly land and timely service. In particular, this Denny's hosted my work place's holiday breakfast and provided abundant food for the employees. We all felt very appreciated. They were timely in their preparation of food for an early morning pick up. I could not be any happier with their service and generosity.“

“Only place we are at multiple times on vacation. Next door to our hotel (BLVD) this breakfast place opens early enough to get a sandwich on way to flight. The donuts are crispy outside and soft amount some is the best What is better is the smoothies and breakfast and lunch sandwiches. Made this a great savory and sweet breakfast place Great experience“

“This nicest lady just made me the BEST ham egg and cheese croissant that I've ever had! So yummy and made by someone who cares. My mouth was watering from beginning to end. So good! This will be my regular place on days I'm doing laundry. Thanks so much!“
“It's been awhile since I've been here due to the pandemic. I've always stopped in after finishing my laundry in the little shopping plaza. Today was no exception, and man... it's as good as I remembered. Ordered my usual turkey & ham croissant (everything on it) with some OJ. This huge baked croissant filled with cheese, jalapeño and ham caught my eye, so I also got that to go. The sweet owner threw in a free donut as well! Took them home to enjoy. Fresh, comforting and delicious ♡.“

“Nutella cronut was amazing! The Vietnamese coffee was also good. Service was a little slow for just 2 customers in the morning, but I think it's more due to the cashier/server was still undergoing some training. She was polite and courteous though. I'd still go back.“

“Great selection of delicious doughnuts, coffee, sandwiches and other goodies. These people are very friendly… even very early in the morning!!! ?? They even went out of their way to help jump my car battery! They first checked in their car, but forgot that they moved them into their outer car. So, they sent an employee to walk down the street to where their other car was parked to get another set of jumper cables. The. Pulled their car out of their only close parking spot, risking losing it and help jump my car. Thank you all for helping! I will always remember your location and your kindness! God bless!!! ?☺️“

“My memory was romanticizing my last experience which was warm and aromatic. Today's visit was cold and flat with misunderstandings that were forgivable but nothing to look forward. I'll return for its convenience, but despite today. See you soon. I'm looking forward to a five star doughnut and coffee experience.“

“This is a takeout donut place. They're donuts are not overly sweet and are baked fresh throughout the day. I took some to my office in Oxnard and one of the employees recognized the box and said she drives many miles just to get donuts at this location. They even have blueberry donuts, which I understand is rare. The prices are super reasonable, the donuts are fresh and not overly sweet and I can't recommend this place enough.“

“Super cute spot near the airport. I got the ham & cheese croissant and vanilla latte. I don’t like my coffee super sweet so I got 2 pumps vs the usual 3 and it’s perfect. The croissant isn’t your typical donut shop bread cut and ham shoved. It’s IN the bread. And the bread is super soft and melts in your mouth. Good quality cheese. I was really hungry and it didn’t really fill me but it hit the spot. Good price too. Extra nice perk was the outdoor seating with Mountain View. Came early and the sun was rising (missed the picture because, enjoy the moment.) like it here. I don’t eat donuts but they have really cool creative stuff.“
“I have worked in this neighborhood for almost 20 years and this place is a my favorite breakfast go to. The breakfast sandwiches, either in a bagel or on a croissant are delicious! When I forget my breakfast or coffee, this is where I stop. Forgot my lunch, no problem their sandwiches and burgers also hit the spot. The owners are so polite and always greet you with a good morning and smile. If I call ahead because I'm in a rush, they know exactly what I want and have it ready for me as soon as I walk in the door. It's a very clean donut shop and a variety of choices from donuts, sandwiches, smoothies, and juices. I have recommended this place to all of my coworkers to get their morning coffee or donuts.“

“Cash only!Let me start with I'm not a donut gal. The only fried thing I enjoy is potatoes in any form, maybe an occasional (once every three years or so)onion ring craving. Fried dough? Nah. BUT, much like hiking - stay with me - the concept of donuts is appealing. That being said, far too many donut places are getting waaaaay to fancy with their goods, driving the price of a basic donut from around .33/ea to well over $1. Ridiculous! Yes, inflation, yadda yadda yadda, but c'mon, we all know, when done in large batches, the price of fried dough over $1 a piece is still not justifiable. SO, while running some early morning Saturday errands, I found Father's Donuts nearby and a 5 star Yelp review. Score! A good old fashioned, strip mall donut shop, previous signage indicates it was a Fostar's Donuts at some point. $9.99 A DOZEN!!!! Simple, staple, working man donuts - not a Fruity Pebble, nor bacon strip, nor crushed Oreo to be found here. Cakey crumb donuts, powdered, glazed, twists, old fashioned, jelly filled, maple bars - you get what I'm putting down, right?Basic donuts, basic, fair pricing, lovely owner, with a big smile and a crowd eating at the counter inside that look like they may be daily fixtures at this neighborhood spot. While hubby proclaimed his glaze and twist donuts an enthusiastic 'YUMMY!', I thought they were good and hit the spot. Again, not a donut/fried dough gal. I seem to have a sensitivity to cooking oil. I especially DO NOT care for 85C bakery goods because I can taste the soy oil - yuck! Father's donuts had a mild oil after taste. Not greasy. Fluffy, light and tasty, but I definitely picked up the oil. I'm pretty sure that's me. BUT, for the price, variety, friendly demeanor, and an extra 6 donut holes thrown in the box, Father's gets a solid 4 stars.Cheers!CC“
“I've been coming here a few times a week for five years. Me, my gf and son have become friends with the owner. The sandwiches are fantastic! The donuts are always fresh and taste amazing! Boba here is always great! This place is a constant winner!“

“Good ol' Dad's. Reliable, Friendly, Cheap. Dad's Donuts is a great place to grab very delicious, freshly made donuts and coffee without all the frills and fuss of other "fancy" (and often overpriced and overhyped) donut establishments. Family-owned and very friendly, nearly all of the donuts are under $2. Don't be shy about asking which one(s) are the freshest and warmest - Dad's will tell no lies. On this particular visit, I grabbed a maple bar and a glazed old fashioned along with a freshly brewed small coffee - all for under $6. A couple of tables inside and out, a fairly small parking lot and no bathroom privileges. But this is mostly a grab and go place - Dad's wants you to get your sugar intake and go back outside to play. Check out one of the donut institutions in Burbank - Dad's will always be in the conversation.“

“Lard Lad Donuts are a fun thing to grab while you're in Simpsons Land at Universal Studios. They have giant versions of donuts (like the size of a pizza, but a donut!), and some small donuts that you can get as a single or four pack. However, that's really the only thing they have on offer, so it's worth a quick stop if you want a giant donut, but not much else (just Duff Beer and coffee/soda that you can get anywhere in the rest of Universal) I feel like some of the other restaurants and shops in Simpsons Land have more theming going on compared to this. So I recommend getting the giant donut for the comedy of it, or the smaller donut/s if you're really just feeling like a donut treat. But just be aware this is a counter shop with not much theming like most of the rest of Simpsons Land.“

“The food here is good. I got the number six and it was pretty delicious and fresh. The donuts are good nice texture. I highly recommend the half and half with potato. The service is alright that has been pretty consistent but again this place is good for the price and I would def check it out if you are in the Sherman oaks or Van nuys area.“

“The menu is fairly large for a boba spot (a bunch of food options!), so I was hopeful when coming in. However, I only ordered drinks - the galaxy & the Cambodian red lime. Just a disclaimer - I think someone would like these drinks but it's not for me. That being said, I think these are well crafted & made. The galaxy was the better of the 2. To me, it tasted quite medicinal at first because it had an artificial cherry flavor but it mellows out once you keep drinking. The Cambodian red lime had nutmeg (or cinnamon?) in it which I wasn't expecting in a tea drink. It was good, just not for me. I think this place is pretty good if you're in the area! I like that they're taking risks & making flavors that you can't find anywhere else. Their flavors are quite niche but I know someone will definitely find their signature drink here. I would come back to try something new!“

“Love these donuts! They have such a large variety and everything tastes great. I especially love that they always have multiple vegan flavors. The vegan donuts are cakey and just the right amount of sweetness. Be aware that there is a minimum for purchases using your credit card, otherwise they accept cash.“

“The Yum Yum Donuts is right next to my house and I go there quite often. I always get the everything bagel extra toasted with cream cheese tomato and crispy bacon with a little pepper on top. It is the perfect breakfast sandwich and I could eat it everyday. The donuts are obviously made every day and I have been in there at 4:00 in the morning when the guy is making them. They have the perfect selection of 30 or 40 different kinds of donuts. The service is fast and they also speak Spanish. The prices are fantastic also.“
