“I've lived in the. neighborhood and always knew Baked It Myself was here but because of work and just being plain forgetful, i never had the chance to try it until a few weeks ago. I've been there once a week since and i'll continue to be a regular. Some of the best food in the area for a great price. I've stuck to their sandwiches so far: hanger steak panini, brie prosciutto and pear and the fried chicken and fries special. all three HIT. and the delicious free cookie with them is icing on the cake.

it's a side street on van nuys, no frills cozy inside with outdoor seating that's actually on one of the nicer feeling streets in this area.

“Awesome tortas, I'm a chilango and these tortas are legit. I came with a party of three and we ordered different tortas. My favorite was the torta chilanga. The order took a few minutes but everything came out fresh. The ingredients looked high quality. These tortas also have the good cheese (quesillo or queso Oaxaca) so that's a plus. The gentleman who took out orders did a great job of walking us through the different menu items and told us which were the most popular. I did ask for a more custom torta and he basically said, no problem we can do that. Aguas were good too. I live in scv but I will be coming out here to get these tasty tortas.“

“We have been working with Haute Chefs LA for at least 9 years!
Haute Chefs are always the first on my list when I have to cater a dinner or event.

Their prices are incredibly reasonable for everything you get, but lets be honest, we're here to talk about their food. Their food is always delicious and portions VERY generous. Their presentation is also something you can't forget about, we eat with our eyes first.

They have also become very conscientious of people's dietary needs over the years that I never have trouble finding gluten-free or vegan options on their menu for those with dietary restrictions.

I was going to list some of my personal favorites, but then the list got very long. However, you can't go wrong with their roasted cauliflower, steak & shrimp. Their charcuterie & cheese board is also very beautiful and delicious with the freshest in-season fruits. Their menu has something for everyone, and they are willing to take any other adjustment should you need them for one reason or another.

“I always enjoy going to Wolf Creek. I've never had a bad meal. Everything is tasty, the portions are huge (half-size pasta is two meals for me), and service is always prompt and super friendly. Happy hour has some amazing deals. We get two appetizers and two drinks for around $30, including the tip. The olive tapenade doesn't look super appetizing but it's absolutely delicious. I could make an entire meal of just that and the fresh bread. The patio is nice and private and shaded. Could use a little more ambiance but they've earned their five stars with me. My (now) wife and I spent over a year planning our wedding weekend and Rob, Rachel, and, of course, Chef Nate, were there for us every step of the way. First, the food: It is 5-stars, no joke. I am a “foodie” and a bit of a self-admitted food snob. Honestly, I would drive an hour daily to Encino to eat in their test kitchen 7 days a week if they would let me. Even now, three weeks after our wedding, our guests continue to rave to me about the food (pro tip: you NEED to serve the mini chicken and waffles appetizer). Trust me when I tell you that their execution was flawless and the quality was exquisite.
